I've used many transportation and towing services over the years to transport and tow cars across both long and short distances and I have never had a more negative interaction with a company. My wife had a blow out on rt 84 and 9 in Fiskill and I needed tires and a tow. I contacted Mavis in Wappingers Falls and was referred to All tow for my towing needs. I contacted Ronaldo(t?) who apparently was the owner of All tow and asked if he could provide me with a tow which in my opinion was rather easy(a 3 mile straight shot down 9w). He seemed rather annoyed that I asked him for clarification on cost and also equally annoyed that I needed a moment to confirm with my wife about our morning schedule. We set a time to meet 9:30 which was an hour and a half from when we spoke and I was assured he'd arrive no issues. He arrived 20 minutes late which wasn't a big deal to me, but I noticed he did not pull to where my car was. He wanted me to get in the car and drive out of the parking lot towards his tow truck. I explained I was uncomfortable doing that for fear of further damaging the wheel. He interrupted me and explained that he does this all the time and to not question him. I still resisted and he cut me off rather rudely this time and aggressively insisted that either I get in the car or he would. I was appalled and said that it was too early to be THAT angry. I was reluctantly making my way towards my wife's car and asked that he not speak to me in that way that it was unnecessary. He then stopped me again and told me "see ya later, good luck with the tow" and proceeded to turn around walk back to his truck and leave me there. I was almost in disbelief that someone could be that aggressive and angry so early in the day and within seconds of meeting a new customer for the first time. I felt like even if he thought I was the dumbest customer in the world I was going to be one of his easiest tows of the day and that I tip well. I then found my own tow company Brandl's towing and explained my situation with the other company and that I was in dire need of service. They said they could re-route a driver to me even on such short notice and be there in an hour to assist. The driver ED, actually made it to me 15 minutes early and was extremely courteous. He pulled the truck right up to my car and used a winch to pull it up on the flat bed within minutes. Perhaps all tow doesn't have the proper equipment and was asking me to drive the car to his truck to make things easier for him? We reached our destination a few minutes later and I thanked him for coming on such short notice and being so polite. As it turns out Brandl's was even $20 cheaper than All tow, Inc. I gave him the difference anyways plus a tip. If your in the Hudson Valley area and are in need of a tow. Please stay away from All Tow, Inc. They are rude, inconsiderate, lazy, and offer the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. read more

I have no idea if this guy was too lazy to work on an older vehicle, didn't know what he was doing or couldn't bear to work on a car that's not relatively new. but we all can't be so lucky to drive new cars with low miles. I have no idea what "I'll never lie to you" means. it's nice to be an honest mechanic but it's not nice to tell a customer your car is too old for me to work on when another mechanic proved that's not the case.
