Told him to address the thermostat hose, throttle housing and asked for an oil change as well. He had me buy the parts (great so far), we scheduled a day for him to make repairs. He showed up and changed the parts but couldnt get the car to stay on. He said the motor was probably blown or one of the pulleys were no good. And said the engine was smoking..Recommended to return and charge the battery and change the oil the following week. Unfortunately my sister paid him.... he said he would be back. I went to her house installed a new battery and an alternator. I sent Tom a video of the car working and just asked him to complete the oilchange since he was paid.. Tom agreed. Tom wont respond to texts or my calls. i have called and texted multiple times to give him the benefit of doubt before giving Tom this truthful and bad review. Louie is incredibly kind, efficient and has never tried to upsell me on anything that wasn't necessary. When I needed two new tires (after an inspection he did) he recommended the best shop around (across the river) for alignment and my goodness he was right. Never has my car driven so well and it's quite old! This is a testament to good referrals. They go a long way. I would 100% recommend this shop! FYI: I lived a few blocks away when I first found him and have since moved to a neighboring town but go out of my way to come back. Worth it

Ashley, working in the office, seemed to really know what she was talking about, as if she had been a mechanic all her life. They took my car in right away, even though I didn't have an appointment, got the OEM compatible coils delivered and installed the next day (as soon as they came in). The price quoted was reasonable, and I was charged less than what they quoted. They got me on the road just one day later than I had planned. I arrived home with no problems, and my mpg was just as expected when I filled up back in VA.

The root cause ended up being a missing NVH foam piece - something simple, but overlooked repeatedly. Bolt also worked directly with my warranty company and made a real effort to get as much covered as possible, which I appreciated. While they were in there, they were upfront about the spark plugs - noting that since access was already open, it made sense to take care of it now rather than paying for the same labor again down the road. There were 6 seats, a coffee table, TV, and water cooler. With waiting people it could get a little crowded, and it's not well suited for people like me who might bring work to complete while waiting. But as far as customer service, I'm very happy.
