Take note please! Do not use this mechanic shop as a minority or if you wish not to support disgusting and belligerent racist businesses. I chose this shop over one of the Main Local shops, and let the owner know that, as I had AAA tow me to him. There was a lot of odd behavior that I noticed as I came into the shop, but I ignored it, giving this place a chance. We went over the repairs and after discussing the price, I called him the next day to go through with the repairs. He somehow starts shouting and cursing at me as I try to see what I can affordably get done at this time. After he calms down, we agree that I could call in the morning to confirm. I called early the next morning and let him know that I would get the repairs done in full. I asked if he could let me know if anything else needed to be done. He said ok, and that he would call me back later to follow up. After never getting a call, I called the shop, and asked about the repairs. He let me know all that needed to be done in full, that he was finishing up the initial repairs,and that he would call me back shortly to price the additional work.
Days went by, and eventually I had to call them. I was told to hold on for a call back over and over again for days, I kid you not. Eventually, I went to the shop in person, and found that they never moved the car into the garage to start repairs at all. Not only did they start an argument with me, but they accused me of not wanting to get the repairs done, when I had agreed to the repairs several times over, days ago, and was waiting for word from them as they ignored my calls. As I stood in the shop trying to make sense of it all, and ask questions, the owner stood there with a disgusted grin on his face looking me up and down and sizing me up. I felt very uncomfortable and disrespected in that shop. They eventually flat refused to do the full repair, and said they would get it driveable by the next afternoon. Rather than argue, I chose to collect my car the next day. When I went to pick it up, the son argued with me again completely for no reason muttering under his breath, and stating he just wanted my car off of his lot. It was clear before long that they never wanted to do business with me from the beginning, and this behavior had nothing to do with money.
When someone is racist and stupid enough to spit on money, they don't deserve to be in business. I would love to see this disgusting business shut down. The sad thing is that you won't hear the truth come out like this until they deal with minority customers. Most of the glowing reviews you see, come from people who are the "right" race, and will never see that side of them. read more
