This is literally the only KBBQ place I'll go. I've tried one other place down the street, and it wasn't near as good as this place. We come here so often to the point where the staff recognizes us, and we don't even care. The staff here is very nice and very attentive, and the food here is absolutely delicious! What makes this food great is the "secret sauce" that they have. You have to come here at a very specific time, because it gets really busy really fast-the wait being at least 45 minutes at time. Price is very affordable for Korean BBQ however as a Korean BBQ snob, it's all about the meat and sides for me. All they had for "sides" were sliced raw onions, jalapeños and kimchi. No rice paper, no seaweed, no fish cakes, no potato salad. I get, it's a "no frills" Korean BBQ place but come on. Meat quality is decent though the service could be a little bit better. Our server wasn't as attentive as he could have been given the restaurant wasn't even half full when we came in. It did get full towards the end of our meal but nonetheless, diners shouldn't have to ask for good service; that should be the standard where ever you go. Be careful when ordering extra sides like rice, they charge. Our bill between 4 people including 1 beer and 3 sodas came up to $80. We could have gone to Cham Sot Gool in Buena Park and for a few bucks more, we would have been very satisfied. read more

Korean food here is cheap with it's $11 all you can eat. But the meat isn't very satisfactory. I prefer the brisket over the pork since the pork can be a little chewy and bland. The lettuce they give us is very yummy along with the sauce with onions and jalapenos. I'd rather pay a little more for really good Korean meat, ambiguity unintended. This place is great! It's not the typical bulgogi and galbi that you'd normally think of when you think Korean BBQ, but it's just as good! Especially for the price! $9.99 for ALL-YOU-CAN EAT! Who does that?! I went here with a big group and all of us left, full and satisfied! Been here a couple times and I think it's fine. The service is good and the menu is simple. It's just meat and salad (and the onions and jalapenos). Forget carbs! The meat is not fresh. It is frozen with no flavor. The prices advertised outside come with fine print once you sit down. I always get the all-you-can-eat beef brisket and pork belly. Like most Korean joints, you cook it yourself, so if the meat is over/undercooked it's your own fault. The service is good; they always bring out a new plate of meat just as you finish the current one. The sauce for the meat is the best part. You put it together according to your taste. I came here around 1AM with some friends and we were starving. The guy/owner got our drinks down and brought the meat out quickly. We were cooking in no time. The food is not amazing, but it is a great value and tastes good... I mean for 10.99 you can't complain. Make sure to pour sauce all over your meat while cooking and in your dipping bowl. read more

Place is very simple but the food is delicious. My only issue was the customer service we received before even walking into the restaurant. My boyfriend was finishing up his cigarette as an employee steps out and approaches us. He did not want to serve us. He was saying they were closing soon and just trying to make us feel either bad or unwelcomed. He went on to say afterwards that they stop selling meat at 1:30, it was 12:40. Open late :) Not the cleanest place; just ok. A bunch of tables along the walls, all with stools, and several tables down the middle stacked in a straight line - communal arrangement with chairs. They have maybe four items on the menu and they don't serve a lot of sides like most KBBQ places do. Some Kimchi, a salad, and their "house special sauce" which, with some sliced onions and Jalapeños, makes up the dip. Went for the Beef Brisket and Beef Tongue . Now I like Beef Tongue (it is fabulous at Gyu Kaku for example) but here it's a whole lot of it and that kinda gets to you... I normally don't think of what was slaughtered so that I could eat all that flesh but this mound of Beef Tongue really brings it home... Anyway, the food was good. Not great but good. The grill is quite unusual; first time I've seen this setup. I'm sure there are some pics that others have uploaded. It's inverted with a groove along the edge to collect grease; it's got a little hole that allows the grease to drain out into a receptacle under the table. But the best thing about this place is the hours over the weekend. They tell me that they close at 3AM. I don't know what everyone is complaining about. This place is REALLY good and I am REALLY picky. Let me clarify a few things.This review is NOT based on the $10.99 deal. They do have gal bee which they serve boneless but that's priced at $18.99 and you get half a lb. That one is NOT all you can eat. You cook the meat yourself and it comes with salad and kim chi. Rice is $1 extra.The steamed egg is good as well.They are open late until 2 am every day except Sunday when they close at 1 am. I have been here a few times. Where do I start? I love this place! I go often enough that they know me and don't even have to ask what I want. The price is great. I can leave spending just under $30 for two people and be completely stuffed. I keep it simple and get the beef. The meal comes with endless salad. No fountain drinks tho. The other Korean BBQ was closing soon, so we decided to try out this place. It was crowded so we took that as a good sign. However, we were given no menu and just quickly told our choices. The server was grumpy and kept asking if we were done to turn off the grill, we had not even ordered a second round of meat. The banchan was a side of garlic, and kim chi, and salad. I've been to a lot of kbbq spots and this is my favorite! The brisket, onions and sauce are so addicting - especially their sauce! There isn't a huge meat selection, just brisket and pork, but I only really like brisket anyway. You can't beat the price - $11 for all you can eat kbbq? Yes please! Great price, super friendly attendants, and chill atmosphere. The meat is all very delicious and fun to cook yourself, and they happily bring you more platters of meat until you are full. Be prepared to wait a bit, as the restaurant is small, but the wait usually isn't too long and you can have a beer while you're waiting for the table to clear. This place is great to go to with friends after a party or just to get together. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can be pretty loud in there. They almost always have sports on the tv and beer. Definitely a guys hang out. They bring you plates of meat one after the other until you explode. The meat isn't the leanest but for the price and addictve sauce I can over look it.
