This place is good when everything else is closed and u feel like pigging out on some all u can eat restaurant. - the quality of the meat was not very good - some pieces were still frozen - the salad was bland and too oily (not good oil taste) - the ONLY side dish we got was some pickeled spicy cabbage, that didn't taste good at all- and I usually love that dish - we had to PAY EXTRA for RICE - the service was ok - the young men tried, gave their best, but it was still only OK. overall OK for evenings and nights (I was a bit shocked that it was closed for Saturday Lunch!) for emergency food. They open at like 5 pm, I don't know why but the food makes up for it. It was my first time trying Korean BBQ and I was pleased. I tried their marinated meats and they were really good. Flavor was great. They have this sauce/dip that you can mix with onions and jalapenos and that made it even better. I did try other meats but they weren't my favorite but I am not much of a pork eater. My husband liked all of them. My picky 4 year old even ate some and enjoyed it. I think our bill came out to around $40. We ordered 4 different meats, two rice bowls, two sodas and an orange juice. The waiter was very friendly. Great little hidden place. read more

Food quality is solid, quality is obviously not better than places that charge $25 for all you can eat, that being said this place is actually really good, you get two hours for all you can eat. The gig is pretty small so its always full, great employees there that are fast with food, refills, etc. I highly recommend this spot, the pricing speaks for itself. read more

Came for the AYCE KBBQ event. The meat wasn't the best...but I had a seriously busy day at work and didn't have time to eat all day! So by the time I got there (730pm) I didn't care what it was, it was good! 10.99 and they keep bringing out meat...plate after plate. I bet they didn't know how much a group of 12 or so Yelpers could eat...hehehe. Now they do! The meat was frozen...and it cook unevenly...but eventually it did cook...and it was eaten. For a buck more you get a bowl of rice. The salt/pepper/oil sauce they give is a bit too salty for me. They give plenty of salad...which I ate most of :P And the pooch that the friends brought in was a bit unsanitary =( But the company was great! I would have to come back on a day I'm not starving and see if the three stars are really accurate. And as mentioned before, all it says on the sign is Korean BBQ, so lok for the Dennys, it's right behind that. read more

My wife has taken me to a lot of korean BBQ in CA and this one is my favorite so far. It's cheap and the meat is good. There's not a lot of variation like the bigger places in Koreatown, but I don't really need more than brisket sometimes. Service is average. The place is really small and not fancy, but it has an "A" rating so it's clean enough. read more

Okay. WORST SERVICE EVER. Walked-in expecting at least a greeting. Nothing. After we finally got seated, we asked for two waters. They never gave us a menu or told us it was an All You Can Eat, or asked what we wanted. They just assumed what we wanted and nearly tossed it on the table. Seeing as we were two pretty hungry patrons, we just took it and put it on the grill. We had no idea how much anything was or what we're going to be getting. After being totally ignored for for nearly an 45 minutes, I had to walk up to the register and ask for our waters and the bill. When I told the guy up front, "we've been sitting in the corner for the longest time just waiting for our waters or anything...and no one came... Also, can we get the bill?" And the guy has the audacity to be like, "...So, if you want your bill, do you still want your waters?" WTF, yes, I want my water. No apologies, no compensation of any kind. I like this place, but it doesn't tickle my pickle like other kbbq spots. Its cheaper than most. The service is mediocre, but the people that work there are chill...i guess. Been here several times because my friends like this place. You get all you could eat meats with a selection of 4 or 5 different variety. I do not understand how there was so many people waiting to be seated here. Have you not had real good tasting Korean BBQ before? They didnt have Galbi!!! I asked for Bulgogi aka "marinated beef" (worst cuts of meats I've ever had). No side dishes you normally get at a traditional Korean BBQ restaurant so you paid extra for Kimchi, I didnt even bother asking for beer since I was beyond disappointed with the menu/food. As a guy who lives in K-Town, I decided to try the korean bbq places in the valley for once. After deciding that Shik Do Rak was a bit too far from where we were, we decided to go to Wang Dweh Ji. We found it after looking for a bit (it's a small place) but when we got into the parking lot there was ample space so that was a plus. The place looks a bit rundown in the inside but heck, who cares? You just have to eat the meat right? My friends and I settled for the $10.99 AYCE chadol (beef brisket) and samgyup (pork belly) because we wanted something filling and cheap after playing ball for a couple hours. Despite having average meat, they had excellent service. Always refilled our waters when we needed, gave us more meat when we asked for it, and so on. However, two downsides were the lack of banchan we received despite paying for the $10.99 AYCE and the lack of dduk bo ssam (rice papers). The only sides we received were rice (not really a side but you know what I mean) and onions/jalapenos/garlic and a LOT of sauce and some soy bean paste and salad. But seriously, I mean come on...even though we're eating the cheap AYCE, what korean bbq place does NOT give you banchan?! That sort of ticked me off but the good service helped out. The people are mostly Korean there but it can be varied. There was a Filipino family next to us who ate really slowly and a bunch of ahjuhssis (Korean men in their 40-50s) who kept talking about life and what they did. It was mainly adults with like 1-2 families scattered around with children. But the place is not too noisy, just filled with chatter and the occasional outburst from one of the drunk Korean men. (They serve soju and beer.) Overall, Wang Dweh Ji, my first korean bbq in the valley, wasn't a great success nor a failure. Their meats were a BIT above average but their good service sort of made up for it. But heck, for a $10.99 AYCE its not so bad. read more

This is hands down my favorite all you can eat kbbq. I'm from west co and drive a whole hour and a half to get to this bad boy. It is seriously worth the drive, everytime! Although this place isn't for everyone. The meat is average and not too many sides but my boyfriend and I found a magical way to eat it where you don't need all the other fancy stuff. We cook our marinate our onions in the house sauce and cook it. I know right? It's the most simplest thing, but my golly, it is so good. For 10.99 too? Come on. Everyone else who complains for "better meat" and "more side selections", need to see that it's a mom and pop shop. I think it's a steal! And the service is always great! The owner is always friendly, accommodates to everything we wanted. Service is good even when busy. Friendly and always cheerful. I go here at least twice a month. This place is down-right legit. The food is good, and the prices are even better! Pros: Cheap all you can eat. Cons: It is very small inside so you might have to wait about 5-10 minutes depending on the time/day. On some occasions, the brisket is dry and almost in-edible. Our go-to for some decently cheap Korean barbecue. It's open late night and its only $11.99 compared to all the other places in the valley. You pay an extra two bucks so you don't have to drive all the way to LA. Is it the best? No. But it's cheap, the service is decent and I personally love fatty brisket and that's what you'll get here. Of course you can get other meats as well. They have recently tried to expand their options. You get I think 5-6 different options of pork and beef and they have the soups and such too. It's overall just a good place to go late at night for a Korean barbecue fix. read more

As a resident from Reno, I don't get to eat KBBQ a lot, so coming here on my first day in L.A. for a trip, I was incredibly excited and, of course, hungry. I came here with my friends Cody, Ami, and Mickey. Luckily for us, we got a table rather quickly. We all knew we were going to get all-you-can-eat and immediately told our waiter our orders. Almost a minute later as we anxiously waited, our waiter approached our table with a large bowl of raw beef, which came as a surprise to me because I thought they would have taken a while to prepare the meat. As grateful, happy and starving customers, we dove right in and dumped the bowl of beef onto the cooker. (FYI, don't do what we did! LOL. In a raw state, they're curled up into almost cylinders, so just place maybe 10-15 of them so that they can unfurl without stacking on top of each other and wasting your time moving their positions, etc and enjoy your food instead.) I only wished we had more sauce options than sriracha and soy sauce. We all ordered a bowl of rice, which was like $1.25. All of us paid around $15-$20, which is a really good price, in my opinion, for AYCE KBBQ. We were all so full by the end of it and unlike Cody, Ami, and Mickey, I didn't have as much as an issue getting out of my seat. Hehehe. In fact, I still had room for boba, whereas they groaned a little. I hadn't exactly realized I was hungrier than I thought after we finished. Basic Korean BBQ, but still good and open until 2AM. (Although they usually won't serve you after 1AM.) They don't have a wide variety of sides or meats (Beef, Pork, Bulgogi)... But it's half the price of most KBBQ so what do you expect. It's a manly place to go, with loads of meat. Anyone who complains about what they're lacking has to understand what the place is geared towards.
