She seemed totally clueless. Fast forward, I ordered the 3 cheese omelet and potatoes. The omelet was ok and the potatoes was horrible and was hard as rocks and tasteless like rocks too. I have to give Walters a one star for their service and food delivery. Ordered a few orders of wings on Uber eats. Delivery was fast (30min from ordering). Food still warm upon arrival however chicken was tough and over cooked. Additionally did not come with a side of blue cheese which could of made the wings a bit more manageable to eat. I tried to contact the restaurant however nobody picked up the phone on several attempts. Their voicemail says to send a text to the phone number for faster service. Nobody replied to any text. I did email through their website and got a reply from the owner the following day. I told him what happened and he said contact Uber eats and that their wings are rarely over cooked and blamed it on the timing of the delivery which was not the case. He also apologized for not including any blue cheese and said to contact Uber Eats for a remedy, Decent place in person, although customer service when I went is an issue as well. read more

Walter's is a Sports Bar. There are many others like it. It is noisy. The service was truly horrendous, but the food is passable. I had a spicy chicken sandwich which was surprisingly not terrible. Grilled chicken instead of fried, which is all the rage these days, and with bacon! In this economy! Imagine. The fries were also half decent. I am kind of interested in going back solely for the purpose of trying the chimichurri cheese steak, which sounded intriguing. The beer list is surprisingly limited for a sports bar that has a whole wall of taps where you can serve yourself. As in, you can get a Bud light and a couple of other things but that's really it. While it might sound attractive to bypass the terrible service, there were several servers or bartenders working at any given time in a couple of hours that we were there, and I didn't see any of them being totally swamped, so I'm just not really sure where they were. Still, I'm overall pretty astounded that this establishment probably a couple hundred lineal feet, all told, and have such a profoundly limited selection of beer. I suppose they also had a profoundly limited selection of clientele, because I felt like everybody in here was just some sort of run of the mill bro. Sometimes we must all be run of the mill bros. Our whole family (9 adults + 5 Grandkids Age 2-4) went to Walter's after visiting ENCHANT @ National Park on Friday night. Went there after a game at Audi Field - the waiter was very nice and attentive and it wasn't his fault that the fries were as hard as bricks. Sent them back and the new batch of fries was just as hard. If you fancy eating bricks, definitely get the fries; otherwise avoid them! The burger was ok - a little dry. Clearly the kitchen was slammed so the food was ho hum. The patio space and restaurant itself is huge, even so we were lucky to snag a spot after a table cancellation. We were promptly greeted and our server grabbed drinks for us. We had their version of a piña colada (8th inning pain killer - served in a tiki glass with a big, juicy cherry) and a DC mango seltzer. We were pleased with drinks and to be sitting on the patio on such a nice day. We also enjoyed some hummus and pita/cucumber after a bit of a wait to order - it was some of the best hummus we've had. They take their COVID measures seriously and the indoor and outdoor space is large so you'll feel safe and shouldn't have any issues getting a seat. I decided to try Walters because I live across the street from it. A neighbor had said great things about their pork belly bites so I decided to give them a try. The vibe is definitely a sports bar, tons of TVs including a huge one, which makes me sad I didn't just walk across the street to watch the World Cup finals. The draft beer concepts very interesting, there are taps along the wall and you can pour your own. There are also a few select cocktails and a small variety of wines by the glass. They also have a decent selection of whiskey Walters has a happy hour from 4-7 PM that seems to just be a few discounted drinks although I'm unsure as I got here after happy hour. I ordered the aforementioned pork belly bites and they were great! The fat is perfectly rendered so no gross bits of chewy fat, it has a nice soy sesame glaze which adds some sweetness to cut the fattiness of the pork and is served with a red cabbage slaw that is a vinegar slaw with a tiny bit of heat. I sat at the bar and it wasn't very busy. The service was fast and efficient and I never had my water sit empty for more than a minute before it was refilled without my asking. Also, right now (I don't know how long this will last) if you get on their email list you get a free appetizer once a month that's good for the first 10 days of the month and it's any appetizer on the menu! I was interested in going to a sports bar to watch a UFC fight so gave this place a try. First of all: 1. Called the place to see if they were gonna show the fight. (They did not answer but on the call they give you the option to text. So I proceeded to text to ask if they were gonna show the UFC fight and they sent me a link that yes. 2. I ask if I need to make a reservation (They never replied) I saw that the link had an option to get tickets for free to watch the fight so I got them. 3. When I got to the restaurant they let us in without greeting us and no waiter to be found so I sat myself on a booth. 4. 10 min later the waitress approached commenting that she didn't notice us. 5. Place got extremely crowded and loud, people just standing around without having place to sit down. (Why are you letting people in if there is no place to sit down?) 6. A guy from another table threw up and did a huge mess and splashed few tables with vomit, including myself. (The waitress wiped down without properly disinfecting the area and continue serving on that table to new people). 7. At 1030 the waitress kick us out since someone made a reservation through OpenTable app and they needed my table. I obviously questioned as to why they are allowing someone else to get my table when I am still consuming. (She stated that the manager told her that and that she is under a lot of stress). We spoke to manager how inconvenient this situation was since we were never informed that we needed to leave before the fight even started when I went there specifically to watch a fight.
