Just a night to hang out with friends I would say Walters is a pretty lip spot service was cool. Food came out pretty fast. They have a contactless menu, which is good if you wanted to sit down and order without waiting for someone, I definitely left lit so I will definitely be coming back. Who doesn't love a good vibe in Navy Yard? I don't remember the server name, but she was super nice and patient !

I came here after a soccer game and was duly impressed. They have a decent selection of beers on tap and of course a million TVs on different games since they're a sports bar. I wasn't sure about the BBQ pork sandwich but I'm glad I ordered it and it was very impressive. It was a large serving of lean well seasoned pork with a BBQ sauce that had just the right amount of spice. A BBQ purist would point out they sandwich shouldn't come pre-sauced but I'll let that slide since they're a sports bar. I had a side salad and that did the job as well since I didn't want something too heavy after having a BBQ pork sandwich and a couple beers. Service was very friendly and efficient here, even though they were crowded after the soccer game. I enjoyed my meal here and will be back again.

We stopped in here after the Nationals game. They lost to the Mets! The place was crowded but we were seated right away. We were a party of four. Our server brought water and took our drink orders. Our drinks came quickly and our server took our food orders we asked for separate checks and she said not a problem. The food came quickly in spurts. I had the shrimp and succotash. The others had wings or burgers. The shrimp were delicious. The succotash was great but too buttery/oily. I ordered the potato munchers. They had a pleasant kick to them. Others ordered fries and got a large serving. Our server, Kiera N., was attentive and efficient.

Friends and I stopped in to get out of the rainy weather. This was around mid day and the place was fairly empty. There are lots of tvs playing various sporting games. The center has a large wrap around bar with what looked to be fully stocked with about every type of liquor you would want. We grabbed seats at the bar and were helped quickly. I ordered an espresso martini for a midday pick-me-up. The espresso martini was decent and very strong. It definitely packed a punch. It did not have the iconic 3 espresso beans on top. The other girls enjoyed their drinks. I did wish that the establishment was a but cleaner. The restrooms were pretty bad. For it being midday not long after opening I was shocked. Also the floors were sticky to walk on in the main areas.

Excellent service - HANDS DOWN EXCELLENT SERVICE! We stayed all afternoon for Super Bowl game day. Security kept it in control, Julia and Andrew kept our food and drinks coming with no gaps. The wings are delicious! CRISPY DELICIOUS! the hashbrown stuffed mashup things my husband ordered were so good, fries were well seasoned, drinks were strong. It was a BLAST!

Amazing food we ate the happy hour apps, the Korean Cauliflower was really good the gyro flatbread was OK the meatball trio was excellent lots of taps and the service was excellent given how busy they were. It's a sports bar but food was much better than average. Ambience is multiple TVs playing lots of different sports so if your into that I loved it.

Have been here a few times while on business in the area. It's a huge bar with plenty of TVs and lots of beer on tap. Went for an early lunch on a Friday. First customer through the door. Only one bartender/waiter, but he did a great even after the party of 50 came in. First time I've ordered a full meal here. The server said they were known for their burgers so I ordered the cheeseburger and added bacon. It was good sized. Too smashburger patties with all the trimmings. The bacon was thick and crunchy. Perfectly cooked. Fries were thick cut and well seasoned. My only complaint was a lack of seasoning on the meat. I felt they needed salt. Otherwise, well worth the visit.

We went before and after the USA game! Nationals were playing as well which meant they had game day deals! Service was good, they made good time for how busy they were. The food was excellent! The vibes in the bar were exactly what you for a pregame!

I went last night/morning around 12:00 am hoping to grab food since they close at 2am. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get food because the kitchen closed at 11:30pm. I went back again for lunch today and was pleased, the old bay wings were good but not quite my things, however the buffalo wings were great. All of the wings were a good size. This would be a great place for happy hour or even catch the game. It's a nice sports bar with a chill vibe

Walter's is our go-to restaurant to grab a bite to eat or a beer before the game. My husband particularly enjoys the tap wall of beer with the large selection to choose from. The menu is comprised of typical sports bar food (burgers, wings, fries, etc) but also offers some more robust entrees as well.

I came here with a friend for brunch before a concert. It's your typical sports bar, except that it's HUGE. We were sat quickly and our server was very nice; our food also came out fast. I had the omelet and decided to add lamb and cheese. They forgot the cheese and so had to remake it and the lamb was so chewy and fatty. I would not recommend. We also split an order of wings and they were decent. All in all I wasn't really impressed but I suppose when you come to a place like this, you should just stick to burgers, beer and wings.

How much is a beer from the wall?

It depends. You open a tab and they give you a card. It charges a certain price per beer per ounce you pour.

We ordered the Mac and cheese bites but they did not have any Mac.. it was just fried cut up mozzarella sticks. Which is great.. if that's what it was called on the menu. We also ordered a fried chicken sandwich and a pub burger. The chicken sandwich was fine. The pub burger was ... meh. The pretzel bun they brought out was over toasted and looked like it was pretty dry before that. Like it was HARD. No one came to check on us after the food arrived so I had to take my plate to the check out desk to address the issue. Cait took care of it right away; I asked for just a new bun - I don't mind swapping it out myself. But in the end the burger was still just meh. Almost forgot to mention the fries .. not great. They were salted well but the fries themselves were almost chewy. When we checked out, Cait said apologized and mentioned some staffing issues. She offered to get in touch with some sort of compensation but didn't offer to waive our one beer. We left paying full price for everything. Again, fine spot if you just wanted to hang out and drink beer.

The bars and restaurants on the main level of this area are always packed - I don't think the masses know about this nice bar quite yet. This outdoor bar overlooks Nats stadium (you can see about 60-70% of the field ); the views are absolutely fantastic, especially on warm weather days. There are 6-10 bar seats at a long bar and another smattering of 6-8ish bar tables scattered on the rooftop. There are also some more unique lounge style seating which really makes the spot seem comfortable and relaxed. There are a couple TVs hung in the bar area which also makes this a great place to catch a football game on Sundays. Their happy hour is everyday from 4-7pm; they offer discounted beer and wine for $7-8 and select discounted cocktails for $10. The service is always quick and the bartenders are warm and friendly. There is a limited food menu, though I'd advise grabbing a bite elsewhere. I've had the food just once; my chicken tenders were pretty flavorless and had a tough texture - won't get those again. Would rather pay a little more for better quality at Nats park. I'll continue to be a frequent visitor - this is the perfect rooftop pregame spot.
