Excellent service - HANDS DOWN EXCELLENT SERVICE! We stayed all afternoon for Super Bowl game day. Security kept it in control, Julia and Andrew kept our food and drinks coming with no gaps. The wings are delicious! CRISPY DELICIOUS! the hashbrown stuffed mashup things my husband ordered were so good, fries were well seasoned, drinks were strong. It was a BLAST!

Friends and I stopped in to get out of the rainy weather. This was around mid day and the place was fairly empty. There are lots of tvs playing various sporting games. The center has a large wrap around bar with what looked to be fully stocked with about every type of liquor you would want. We grabbed seats at the bar and were helped quickly. I ordered an espresso martini for a midday pick-me-up. The espresso martini was decent and very strong. It definitely packed a punch. It did not have the iconic 3 espresso beans on top. The other girls enjoyed their drinks. I did wish that the establishment was a but cleaner. The restrooms were pretty bad. For it being midday not long after opening I was shocked. Also the floors were sticky to walk on in the main areas.

Amazing food we ate the happy hour apps, the Korean Cauliflower was really good the gyro flatbread was OK the meatball trio was excellent lots of taps and the service was excellent given how busy they were. It's a sports bar but food was much better than average. Ambience is multiple TVs playing lots of different sports so if your into that I loved it.

Have been here a few times while on business in the area. It's a huge bar with plenty of TVs and lots of beer on tap. Went for an early lunch on a Friday. First customer through the door. Only one bartender/waiter, but he did a great even after the party of 50 came in. First time I've ordered a full meal here. The server said they were known for their burgers so I ordered the cheeseburger and added bacon. It was good sized. Too smashburger patties with all the trimmings. The bacon was thick and crunchy. Perfectly cooked. Fries were thick cut and well seasoned. My only complaint was a lack of seasoning on the meat. I felt they needed salt. Otherwise, well worth the visit.

I went last night/morning around 12:00 am hoping to grab food since they close at 2am. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get food because the kitchen closed at 11:30pm. I went back again for lunch today and was pleased, the old bay wings were good but not quite my things, however the buffalo wings were great. All of the wings were a good size. This would be a great place for happy hour or even catch the game. It's a nice sports bar with a chill vibe

Walter's is our go-to restaurant to grab a bite to eat or a beer before the game. My husband particularly enjoys the tap wall of beer with the large selection to choose from. The menu is comprised of typical sports bar food (burgers, wings, fries, etc) but also offers some more robust entrees as well.

I came here with a friend for brunch before a concert. It's your typical sports bar, except that it's HUGE. We were sat quickly and our server was very nice; our food also came out fast. I had the omelet and decided to add lamb and cheese. They forgot the cheese and so had to remake it and the lamb was so chewy and fatty. I would not recommend. We also split an order of wings and they were decent. All in all I wasn't really impressed but I suppose when you come to a place like this, you should just stick to burgers, beer and wings.

Walter's remains the place to go for football season. The service is still impeccable, the TV's have all the games, and the food is just as great as ever. We got the wings, which were very crispy and hot on arrival, the breakfast burrito and chicken and waffles. We also opted for the bottomless drinks and rarely even had to ask for refills as they were automatically refilled during our allotted time. If you want to get a good seat for a 1pm game, you definitely need to get there prior to the game. I still highly recommend Walter's for all your game day needs.

Service by the bar staff 10/10. Typically get the breakfast burger during brunch with bottomless Trulys. Best bar vibe for the games in Navy Yard.

We went right before a Nationals game, and service was good and fast. The drinks were very affordable for a place so close to the ballpark. Spinach artichoke dip was great, but the old bay wings were a bit too salty. Would recommend before a game!

    Deviled eggs. Pork belly bites.

Been here a few times now. Most of the bartenders are pretty good. Aston, LILO, and Jake come to mind. I have gotten the pork belly bites three times. Two times I loved them and one time I thought they were dry. The flank steak was ok. The fries are ok. We got a potato app that was ok. I have met some great people here. And some really intoxicated people here. It seems to be the go to place to eat or drink late. It does get crowded and depending on what games are going on can be loud. I would go back. Probably tonight. Oh. I really liked the wings!

How much is a beer from the wall?

It depends. You open a tab and they give you a card. It charges a certain price per beer per ounce you pour.

We ordered the Mac and cheese bites but they did not have any Mac.. it was just fried cut up mozzarella sticks. Which is great.. if that's what it was called on the menu. We also ordered a fried chicken sandwich and a pub burger. The chicken sandwich was fine. The pub burger was ... meh. The pretzel bun they brought out was over toasted and looked like it was pretty dry before that. Like it was HARD. No one came to check on us after the food arrived so I had to take my plate to the check out desk to address the issue. Cait took care of it right away; I asked for just a new bun - I don't mind swapping it out myself. But in the end the burger was still just meh. Almost forgot to mention the fries .. not great. They were salted well but the fries themselves were almost chewy. When we checked out, Cait said apologized and mentioned some staffing issues. She offered to get in touch with some sort of compensation but didn't offer to waive our one beer. We left paying full price for everything. Again, fine spot if you just wanted to hang out and drink beer.

The bars and restaurants on the main level of this area are always packed - I don't think the masses know about this nice bar quite yet. This outdoor bar overlooks Nats stadium (you can see about 60-70% of the field ); the views are absolutely fantastic, especially on warm weather days. There are 6-10 bar seats at a long bar and another smattering of 6-8ish bar tables scattered on the rooftop. There are also some more unique lounge style seating which really makes the spot seem comfortable and relaxed. There are a couple TVs hung in the bar area which also makes this a great place to catch a football game on Sundays. Their happy hour is everyday from 4-7pm; they offer discounted beer and wine for $7-8 and select discounted cocktails for $10. The service is always quick and the bartenders are warm and friendly. We were immediately given two glasses of water while we looked over the menu. While looking over the menu and deciding what we wanted, we noticed that there were numerous people coming to stand beside and around us to order drinks and food. We also noticed that the bartenders at the bar were also serving the tables that were behind us as well. We were surprised to see that there were not waiters serving those tables. Because of this, you had people who were sitting at the tables behind us getting up and coming to the bar to order food and drinks, as well as people in general, walking up to the bar to order food and drinks. This made things very chaotic. As me and my wife were attempting to place our order, the bartenders continued to prioritize people who were coming to the bar after us. This went on for about 10 minutes. I then went to the hostess on the first floor and asked him if we could go upstairs. He said that we could go upstairs no problem, but it would be a similar situation to ordering like it was downstairs. I asked him will we be able to get a table upstairs and have a waiter instead of attempting to order food and drinks at the bar like we are doing downstairs? He told me that if we were to go upstairs we would still have to order our food and drinks at the bar. After waiting for about another five minutes and continuing to be ignored at the bar, I decided that I had enough and told my wife that we were leaving. This is a horrible concept! Having bartenders serve people at the bar is one thing. But, to also have those same bartenders serving numerous tables as well, to the point where the people who are at the tables have to come up to the bar and place their food and drink order, is madness. Especially when the bar and the whole downstairs level is packed before a Nationals game. This is very inefficient and leads to a horrible customer experience. Also, if this is going to be the concept that you go with, you will need more than just two bartenders to be able to handle that amount of traffic.
