Staff are very rude to customers and mess up orders. I told them I want to spend a certain amount and they doubled it and acted like I was in the wrong. Let me start off by saying, I have ordered from this florist 3 times in the last 2 years. Each time it was affordable and I was very happy. They deliver, locally as well, which is good. A few weeks go, my friend's family had a death in his family. I called Walter's flowers and inquired about sending some flowers. The lady on the phone was nice , provided me a few options. The issue I have is the rates for flowers were EXTREMELY expensive. A nice bouquet that used to cost $80 was now $200! Feeling defeated, I caved and decided on a $90 set of roses, which I was told would be delivered in a glass vase. When the flowers were delivered, they looked like an ordinary set of roses, one I could've bought for $20-30 from any drug store, or grocery store. Like I mentioned, I have used Walter's flowers numerous times and would rather support a small business, however for the money they charged me, this was ridiculous. I have attached a photograph of the delivered product. It cost me $90.00! I was so embarrassed that this was delivered to a mourning family. I expect a lot more bang for $90.
