From the moment we walked in, every employee, including the owner, treated us with genuine kindness, compassion, and exceptional customer service. My father's one-year memorial was approaching, which has been a very emotional time for our family. I took my mother to choose the flowers she wanted for his memorial. By coincidence, the day we visited was also my parents' wedding anniversary. After we finished placing our order, the staff surprised my mother with a dozen beautiful red roses as a gift to honor her anniversary. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture that meant far more than words can express. Absolutely disappointed with the execution. I placed an order giving them a full extra day for delivery, yet my explicit instructions regarding flower choice and color scheme were completely ignored. While I understand and respect artistic freedom, basic order requirements should still be met. Furthermore, the requested pre-delivery photo was sent well after the delivery & after I already had a photo from the recipient. The final arrangement included a tacky, hand-painted huge wooden butterfly that did not represent money I've spent. When I texted to address all of above, the owner's response was that she "will no longer take phone orders." Instead of offering a solution or taking accountability, the blame was shifted to the ordering method. Am I expected to stand in the shop next to the florist to ensure instructions are followed? I was polite and flexible with my timeline, but the lack of professionalism and failure to deliver what was requested means I will not be returning nor will recommend this business to anyone. For the reference, I never negotiated the price and gave straight forward instructions to deliver classy arrangement of mostly white roses with some light pink accents and orchids. Attached are photos for illustration of what was delivered for four hundred dollars. This is not the first time we order from an Armenian florist & can tell quality work from sloppy. This is second which left a bitter taste on a joyful occasion my family was celebrating. read more

Let me start off by saying, I have ordered from this florist 3 times in the last 2 years. Each time it was affordable and I was very happy. They deliver, locally as well, which is good. A few weeks go, my friend's family had a death in his family. I called Walter's flowers and inquired about sending some flowers. The lady on the phone was nice , provided me a few options. The issue I have is the rates for flowers were EXTREMELY expensive. A nice bouquet that used to cost $80 was now $200! Feeling defeated, I caved and decided on a $90 set of roses, which I was told would be delivered in a glass vase. When the flowers were delivered, they looked like an ordinary set of roses, one I could've bought for $20-30 from any drug store, or grocery store. Like I mentioned, I have used Walter's flowers numerous times and would rather support a small business, however for the money they charged me, this was ridiculous. I have attached a photograph of the delivered product. It cost me $90.00! I was so embarrassed that this was delivered to a mourning family. I expect a lot more bang for $90.
