Much of my garden is from this nursery and I have had a higher success rate with their plants than anywhere else in LA. They are incredibly knowledgable and helpful, they make sure I have all the info I need for the plants I pick. If I have questions about soil, plants, pests, etc they take their time to help. But they clearly care for the plants well too. I've never gotten a rotten root system or infestation, which is rare. Very happy this is my local nursery. read more

Plant heaven! You know they love their plants when you walk into one of their rooms & they're playing classical music for the plants haha. I love this place! They have a huge selection of everything you could think of, as well as pots, soil, etc! Armundo (hope that was his name) was very helpful & answered all of my plant questions as well as helped me choose the best soil for them. This place is a hidden gem in La Crescents! LARGE NURSERY with so plants to look at. It almost feels like you're at the Huntington Library. My new go to spot for all my plant needs. It's like a little hidden oasis in the hills of glendale. I was looking for a few low maintenance plants for my porch. Tomoko happily assisted me in selecting 3 new cactus babies to take home. I am guilty of being a plant killer, I do not have a green thumb at all but she assured me that the ones I picked will be fine. My friend has been a regular here although he lives in Burbank where we're surrounded by many nurseries in nearby cities. This particular nursery is about 7 miles from us so I wonder why my friend prefers coming here than the nearby ones. Out of curiosity, I tagged along with him one day. This particular nursery is very organized and very well maintained. Plants look really healthy and they got a lot of varieties. Some plants are way overpriced compared to other nurseries but there are some that are priced just right. You have to be familiar with the market value of the plants to get the best deal. We ended up getting a ti rainbow plant, two different poinsettias, some alocasias and calatheas. We spent over $200 that day but we left happy and satisfied with our plant choices. read more

a lot of the people that work here are actually very knowledgeable about every single kind of plant that they offer. there's like one person that work here that doesn't have a lot of information about the plants, but honestly, he's very nice anyways, so it kinda makes up for it.. i just always ask for a second opinion from the other employees. they have a very large selection at this nursery and it's always very nicely kept. their pricing is pretty reasonable and average in comparison to other nurseries nearby. read more

Just wander through the beautifully kept aisles of pots and plants and head for the indoor plant greenhouse in the back. You'll hear soothing classical music, see inspirational artwork, and feel in touch with nature as you take in the greenery. Aaaaaah............you can feel the oxygen restoring your nerves. Now, if you actually want some plants, this is also a fantastic nursery. They've got succulents, cacti, petunias, plant food, watering cans, and extremely helpful staff. The variety of plants is endless for gardens large and small. All safety precautions are being observed during this pandemic. Parking is plentiful in the lot. They even load in all of your plants and soil for you. They have so much variety here and everything always looks gorgeous and healthy. I called in to check first if they have indoor plants and they confirmed that they do. I came in and have 2 areas of indoor plants. It was a very hard decision to make. But I was set on having a hanging plant for my room and was able to find one that doesn't require too much sunlight with not much watering needed. I had it for 2 weeks and its still pretty and alive. I always check here if I want to buy something unique that other stores in the area don't have. During tomato and pepper season they have so many different varieties and little signs with short descriptions of each, and Scoville ratings for some of the peppers, to help you decide what to get. I found many types of peppers that I thought you could only order online. It's really great. They also have a huge selection of houseplants spread between the inside of the store and a large dedicated greenhouse, and tons of different types of succulents and cactus outside. It's a gem of a nursery worth checking out if you're into gardening and houseplants. read more

I came here to pick up some plants to get rid of bugs. The driveway is a little hidden, so it's easy to pass up. Be sure to slow down as you approach the entrance. There were more people there than expected during the pandemic, but we all needed something right? Needless to say that the parking lot was packed. You may want to come during the week instead. I was able to find what I needed relatively easy (lavender). They do seem to have a large range of plants and flowers that you may need. I saw some really pretty orchids, but they wouldn't survive in my house (too hot & dry). I didn't get a chance to fully explore the grounds to see what else they had available (see below). Maybe next time. The cashier is in the building closest to the street FYI. I got kinda lost at first trying to find it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even recommended a second plant for me to purchase (which I did). A little heads up for POC, some of the patrons may look at you sideways. So just be mindful of the area you're in if you do come to visit. I felt a bit unwelcome as I was shopping, which is sad to still experience in 2020. read more

This nursery is really big and has a lot of healthy plants. Not as much indoor variety as I had hoped, given the large structure that houses them. I was also hoping to catch a basil plant for my bird, but they didn't have any which was a bummer. Their orchid selection is beautiful though!
