Plant heaven! You know they love their plants when you walk into one of their rooms & they're playing classical music for the plants haha. I love this place! They have a huge selection of everything you could think of, as well as pots, soil, etc! Armundo (hope that was his name) was very helpful & answered all of my plant questions as well as helped me choose the best soil for them. He walked around with me to show me some of the plants that I was looking for & you can tell he knows his stuff! I legit wanted to buy everything here, the price was also reasonable as well and all the plants looked super healthy. I will definitely be back!

My new go to spot for all my plant needs. It's like a little hidden oasis in the hills of glendale. I was looking for a few low maintenance plants for my porch. Tomoko happily assisted me in selecting 3 new cactus babies to take home. I am guilty of being a plant killer, I do not have a green thumb at all but she assured me that the ones I picked will be fine. All of their plants and flowers were thriving and categorized within their families. Huge selection of pots & baskets. The whole staff was friendly. Highly highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem in La Crescents! LARGE NURSERY with so plants to look at. It almost feels like you're at the Huntington Library. They also sell all the items you would need for your plant babies (soil, fertilizer, etc) Prices are decent & service is awesome! Definitely worth coming to!

My friend has been a regular here although he lives in Burbank where we're surrounded by many nurseries in nearby cities. This particular nursery is about 7 miles from us so I wonder why my friend prefers coming here than the nearby ones. Out of curiosity, I tagged along with him one day. This particular nursery is very organized and very well maintained. Plants look really healthy and they got a lot of varieties. Some plants are way overpriced compared to other nurseries but there are some that are priced just right. You have to be familiar with the market value of the plants to get the best deal. We ended up getting a ti rainbow plant, two different poinsettias, some alocasias and calatheas. We spent over $200 that day but we left happy and satisfied with our plant choices.

a lot of the people that work here are actually very knowledgeable about every single kind of plant that they offer. there's like one person that work here that doesn't have a lot of information about the plants, but honestly, he's very nice anyways, so it kinda makes up for it.. i just always ask for a second opinion from the other employees. they have a very large selection at this nursery and it's always very nicely kept. their pricing is pretty reasonable and average in comparison to other nurseries nearby.

It's like a spa in here

Here's a little secret: while it's true that most spas are closed during the pandemic, you can get that same Zen spa feeling during a visit to La Crescenta Nursery. Just wander through the beautifully kept aisles of pots and plants and head for the indoor plant greenhouse in the back. You'll hear soothing classical music, see inspirational artwork, and feel in touch with nature as you take in the greenery. Aaaaaah............you can feel the oxygen restoring your nerves. Now, if you actually want some plants, this is also a fantastic nursery. They've got succulents, cacti, petunias, plant food, watering cans, and extremely helpful staff. The variety of plants is endless for gardens large and small. All safety precautions are being observed during this pandemic. Parking is plentiful in the lot. Absolutely a gem of a nursery and top-notch local business. Highly recommended.

Minus one star: no organic tomato seedlings here (2026) so bummed. The selection is so vast, why 0 organic? Not enough profit?

We had our hands full with leftovers, the boy, and the dog so we were firmly in the browse zone. Then Vik jumps in the mix, calls the boy kiddo and asks if he wants to pet some fish. At this point, I'm intrigued and want to see where this goes, and you know what? He pet some of the koi fish in the pond, I have to admit I haven't seen that before (Kiddo was too scared to try). But THEN he starts telling us about these two plants next to the pond -- Mexican Mint and Sage -- and how their smell repels mosquitos. Kiddo has a huge bug bite on his leg, so the sale was pretty much instant. I planted them in my backyard this afternoon. So, this four star review is a five because of Vic and his kid charming skills. Four stars is because I wish they had a few more native options, but I'll go back because Vik made the experience.

We hired them for a full backyard Reno with full wall of ficus trees, full DG backyard with gravel edges, and a wood fence. Everything was going smoothly with scheduling and communication. When the actual work got started, I noticed the DG was not high-quality. It contained a lot of large rocks. Also, they were not digging out enough dirt before laying the DG. I had to bring that up to the foreman and they did dig up some more dirt before laying the DG. When the work was done, a foreman did a quick walk-through with me and I thought everything looked good. We were told not to walk on the wet DG for a day or two. So two days later when I did a better inspection, I started to notice a lot of shotty work. Specifically with the bender board dividing the gravel and I noticed that they used really small nails for the wooden fence. They did come back a month later to fix the DG because there were areas that were "bouncy", as if not enough DG was laid down. They had to dig up big rocks that were preventing the DG from compacting and they laid more DG on some areas. They also tried to fix some bender board problems, but they did a really horrible job. Three months later, some wood planks on our wood fence start curving and popping up. I called the company because our DG and our fence are under a year warranty. Jake asked me to email him with photos and he said he would call back to schedule a day for repair. Since then I have not heard back from them; they have completely ghosted me. I waited a month then I started calling and no one will pick up the phone. I've left messages and I sent text messages to project manager, Amanda, who was great at communication at first, but now has completely ghosted me as well. Meanwhile, we're still paying monthly for this backyard that is falling apart way too quickly. I'm going to just hire someone to fix the fence before it damages further. I would not recommend them again. Completely overpriced for what you get.

We found a bouquet we really liked on their website and even called in beforehand to ask about adding carnations. We were instructed to upgrade to the deluxe version and include "add in carnation" in the special request section. Unfortunately, what was delivered looked completely different from the bouquet advertised online. Even the standard arrangement shown on the website looked significantly fuller and more thoughtfully arranged than what was actually received. On top of that, the "deluxe" upgrade ended up being essentially an $11 charge for a single carnation added to the arrangement. The biggest disappointment was that this was for Mother's Day while we're far away from family. We were genuinely excited to surprise our mother with something beautiful, but the arrangement felt rushed and lacked the care and quality we expected based on the photos online. Honestly, you could find a nicer-looking bouquet at Costco for a fraction of the cost. We understand flowers can vary slightly from photos, but this wasn't even close. We won't be ordering from here again and would recommend looking elsewhere if you're expecting something that resembles what's advertised online.
