I spent $200 on flowers for my wife's birthday, and they never arrived. After placing the order, I didn't hear anything from Buzzy Bee Flowers for over 24 hours -- no delivery update, nothing. I had to call multiple times and send emails before anyone finally answered, a full day after the delivery was supposed to happen. When someone finally picked up, I was first told there had been a family emergency. Later, when I called from a different number, I was told the driver supposedly dropped off the flowers -- yet there was no photo, no delivery confirmation, and no apology. If you want peace of mind that your order will actually be delivered -- or even basic communication -- I would not recommend this business. read more

My boyfriend ordered me flowers from this shop in January to be delivered on the day of Valentine's day. He wanted to surprise me and since we had plans just called the shop to see around what time the flowers would deliver so I could see them before we left. They told him the delivery driver had left around 10am and would arrive within a few hours (as of course there are other deliveries on a holiday which makes sense). Around 1pm, he called again for an update and they said within 2 hours they would arrive and if not to call them back. Well after 3pm, he ended up telling me he had ordered me flowers and I let him know I had not received anything yet. He called them back twice and guess what.. no response :) Not to my surprise, when I call a minute later, an immediate response within the first ring. Shocking lol. At this point, I am genuinely extremely upset. I ask why the phone wasn't answered when he called, and a girl on the phone responded "this is our busiest day of the year" and immediately transferred me to some guy who stated "we never guarantee a time. I can't guarantee a time" so whyyyy was my boyfriend given four different answers in regards to eta? then the conversation went from "our delivery guy has been out with the flowers since 10 am" to "our delivery guy will be leaving with the flowers right now" at 3:20 pm lol which is it? yikes. anyways my flowers arrive at 10 pm and look half-assed and are missing 4 roses (this is supposed to be the "deluxe" which should include 18 roses, i've attached photos of the flowers we received as well as the description of what was ordered). the arrangement was also sad looking and slightly wilted. i don't care what you say, you are not so busy that it takes 12 hours to make a delivery 5 miles away and the fact that flowers are MISSING is sloppy and gross. PLEASEEEEE save yourself the headache and order from elsewhere that is professional and understands the basis of customer service as well as actually delivering goods as they are PAID FOR. read more

Avoid - $188.44 wasted Paid $188.44 (including tip) for a bouquet, chocolates, two balloons, and timed delivery from Buzzy Bee Flowers. Delivery never happened -- had to pick it up myself. Missing chocolates, wrong balloon. Called their official number (818) 500-1080 six times -- no answer. They called me over an hour late from a different number to say they weren't delivering. Ordered a rather expensive hand bouquet for delivery from their website. It appears the website is not directly run by the business but sourced out. Order confirmed a future delivery date, order was initially delivered on the wrong date. This sucks because it was supposed to be a surprise for the recipients birthday. Instead flowers delivered wrong day. I called the shop, they blamed the web host/procurer for the issue. Told me they would pick up the bouquet and deliver a fresh one on the correct date. Delivery was again done on the original requested date but it looks like they just reused the same bouquet. Not a good look when you're spending $300+. Will never order from here again. I ordered online sympathy flowers for a memorial and for some reason the website allowed me to order online but apparently they were closed. After making the purchase, someone contacted me and provided me some options. I originally asked for a refund but since I paid, they were able to work with me and allowed me to pick up the the flowers they left for me on their back patio. BUYER BEWARE! I am disappointed with my order and the customer service I received from Buzzy Bee Flowers. I purchased the "Designer's Choice" bouquet for my best friend's birthday. Her favorite color is black, so in the special instructions section, I asked for black flowers, or if black flowers were not available for the bouquet to be dark and moody. The bouquet my best friend received had bright red roses, light blue hydrangeas, and blue thistle. It looks like a Fourth of July bouquet. The greenery is bright green, not muted at all. There was a black feather sticking out of the top and a black ribbon wrapped around the base. Not only were these flowers NOT dark nor moody, the overall look of the arrangement was not cohesive or aesthetically pleasing. In addition, there was floral foam sticking out of the top of the vase and the arrangement was sparse so foam was visible from several points of view. Some of the roses do not look fresh and have visible signs of distress or drying along the edges of the petals. The arrangement looked sparse and hastily put together. For a $100 arrangement, I expected much much more. In addition, when I called to address my concerns regarding my order the woman I spoke to was very rude and tried to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. She asked me to send an email with pictures, which I did and have received NO response. I was forced to stop payment through my bank because the business did not want to resolve my issue. I picked Buzzy Bee Flowers because the arrangements on the website were beautiful, and I wanted to support a local business and have all of my money go towards it, rather than ordering through a place like 1-800 Flowers. I'm incredibly disappointed at the effort and creativity that went into my order and the poor customer service I received. Believe the negative reviews. Take note of the positive 5 star reviews with pictures posted by a Yelp user with the same name as someone at the business, who attached pictures of their arrangement they "bought" with the same brick background and photos as arrangements on the website.
