I called and spoke to Anna, I needed flowers for my Mother's 88th birthday. I picked a picture of the flower arrangement I chose from the Lordz website and I told her that she had full designer discretion to substitute any flower in the design because I wanted everything to be fresh. Well, Anna went above and beyond, the floral arrangement she sent was absolutely spectacular! Much, much, more than what I had ordered and my mother was over-the-moon impressed. I rarely write reviews but felt the need to post this. Someone ordered a beautiful floral arrangement for me. He knew how fond I was with pink flowers (my favorite). What I received looked nothing like the photo of what he ordered. I mean I get that sometimes substitutions are necessary. But there were hardly any pinks in the entire arrangement (see photos). While I was happy to receive flowers, this put a damper on things because the arrangement was only reds and yellows and definitely not a lot of greenery either. The odd part about it was that there were these giant flowers that pretty much dominated the entire bouquet (namely 2 Lillies and Gerbera daisies that didn't even fit in the arrangement very well. The roses were ok). I used to work for a florist years ago, and the basic rule of thumb is to make sure you use flowers that fit to scale of the whole arrangement and also to ensure they match the size of your container (like the photo of the pink arrangement they had online). Smaller containers-use smaller buds for best uniformity. I ended up buying some more pink flowers & greenery and added them in to make it look closer to the original design. I guess jt's the sentiment that counts here, sigh. Not sure you get what you pay for, I know my guy wasn't too happy when he saw it before I re-arranged it. The positive part was that they called me to ensure that I was home for the delivery since it was a hot weather day and they were totally nice about that. read more

I rarely and hate to give bad reviews. What started off as a great experience unfortunately ended on a bad note. I spoke with a Lordes the owner and was so grateful for her to take my same day order at the last minute and have it delivered. Not sure if this is always the case and I admit it was my mistake for not asking - but all I was told was the charge for the flowers would be 69.99. When I checked my account I was charged $98.61. Heads up for you - DELIVERY CHARGE =$10 (if your place of delivery is down the street), a Birthday "card"= $2, and tax is around $10. She OVERCHARGED me $8 and when I asked for a refund, I didn't hear back until a week later when I sent a 2nd text requesting a call. I appreciate the apology in her text response I received the following day saying she did overcharge and would refund me by tomorrow or the day after..which would have been yesterday.I did not receive it yet. WORD OF ADVISE: MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR A BREAK DOWN OF THE TOTAL -so you know the delivery fee, tax, and DOUBLE CHECK your account if you order by phone. read more

She went out of her way late in the evening to see if she could find her driver to deliver flowers to my friend who was in the hospital. I received a delivery from for white 8 white tulips not only did they send 8 yellow tulips but 5 out of the 8 flowers were half dead on arrival two are wilting bent over the vase! I can't believe someone would put out a product like that! They have no respect for their customers or regard for the quality they put out. On top of it all the foliage is all browning. I ordered an arrangement for a friend for her birthday. They told us that they would deliver 10:30 -11:00 AM. We needed to do an address change and we called at 9:30 AM to make it, they had already been sent out. They were able to go and get the arrangement from the first place and sent it to the right place. The issue was the arrangement. It looked nothing like what we ordered. We called the business to ask about it and they got really defensive and rude with us. Asking if we weren't embarrassed to be calling and letting them know we didn't like their arrangement. What we got looks NOTHING like what we ordered. False advertisement, she claimed that she let us know that she didn't have certain flowers, but she never did. We would have changed that arrangement. My daughter ordered a PINK boutonniere for prom from this place, she specifically asked for pink! Today we went to pick it up and the woman tells us that they didn't have a pink rose so they made it with a white one. (Something they could have mentioned when the order was placed) but ok we still didn't make a fuss about it, then she brings out the finished product. Smh! The box was bent and the boutonnière was just a mess. Then I asked them if they could at least spray it with pink glitter or something, which they did (still not pink) I'll just let the photo speak for itself! I ended up saving face and payed $12 for something that I ended up tossing in the trash. I had to call another flower shop and they made me exactly what I wanted for $10 in less than 10 minutes! We ordered a custom roses and orchid wrist corsage for prom. Took a picture in and the owner showed us her options. We agreed on the item and picked it up today. EXTREMELY disappointed. The corsage did not include ANY roses. Her excuse was that the baby roses opened up too big and she could not use them. Not only was the corsage 60% more expensive than the local supermarket flower dept corsage, but it looks worse. DO NOT patronize this business for custom items. Tonight was the final straw. They told me, while I was looking at my website order confirmation, that I had made a mistake. The price was not $49.95 - it was $59.95, and nothing is sold for $49.95. Incredibly unprofessional and rude. I placed a flower order for delivery a week in advance. They called the recipient if the flowers to ask about my (the sender) credit card information. When the recipient called to inform me that the flowers she was going to receive as a gift had an issue I immediately called Lordz. I was told their website did not receive all the credit card information. When I questioned how I was able to receive and print a receipt with a valid order confirmation number and yet have there be missing card information I was scolded like a child and told that my business was not welcome.
