Everyone knows Walmart. I love Walmart, and this one was no exception. We visited on a Friday afternoon, and it was pleasantly crowded with short lines Almost anything you want, you will find it here - foods, pharmacy, home goods, although they did not have an all-in-one computer which I was looking for. The aisles are well marked. There is a Subway inside the store. As a male, I wish they had a bigger Men's Dept. Also, if they had better dining options, I would rate the store higher. But for now, I'll still give it 4 stars which is pretty good.

I visited this Walmart located in Westbury Plaza to use the Coinstar Kiosk. Walmart is in a busy shopping plaza, but there are plenty of parking spots. The Coinstar Kiosk is located on the left when you walk in. Coinstar kiosks turn the coins you toss in a jar into something you really want - like cash, a eGift Card, or a charity donation. Fees vary by retailer, brand, and location, with no fee options available. We chose an eGift Card to Texas Roadhouse. The paper eGift Card has a unique code printed on them and I would use the code when I pay at the restaurant. It was a very easy process and the kiosk walked you through all the steps. There is also a Key Me kiosk to make key copies and some other kiosks too.

Why is the cookie trays so dirty first thing in the morning? I walked into the Walmart on Old Country Road to get a sandwich at 9am and this is what I saw. And the server pictured here is trying to tell me he just opened. But he was making a sandwich for a customer. I told him the first thing to do is to clean the area put fresh cookies out and then serve. I am never ordering food at that Walmart ever again.

I noticed a lot of the women's shoes that are on the shelves as of July 2026 are made of man made leather and not many leather options. I know it depends on the time of year but I found this to be quite disappointing especially when a lot of the shoes are $49 and up. With any Nordstrom Rack the inventory can change weekly. I want to put that disclaimer out there. During my recent visit, I did see some dresses in the rack that had some rips. Really visible ones and it was shocking. They were on a sale rack but they were visibly and terribly damaged. When we were in the store, no one greeted us or asked us if we needed assistance. I felt a little bothered by this as it did not seem on brand. We were in the store for about an hour and 15 minutes most recently. It may have been that it was about an hour before closing. When the location was closing, the person was very kind on the intercom and it was so nice. I remember being in Saks 5th Avenue a couple of years ago and they were yelling at customers to get out. The kind goodbye without feeling rushed felt like nice hospitality that would make one want to return to shop. Please note this location is on the second floor and an escalator or elevator is offered to arrive on the second level.

The store has strong inventory of brand-name shoes and designer handbags. Unlike some discount stores, the clearance racks still feature recognizable high-end brands. It operates like a treasure hunt, meaning if you see something you like in your size, you should grab it immediately. The store is relatively well-organized. The fitting rooms offer great lighting and the parking is usually ample, except on peak holiday or weekend afternoons. I commend floor staff for being kind and helpful. However, I have noted that limited open registers can result in slow or backed-up lines during the weekends.

It is one of those rare, sprawling ecosystem-level malls where you can easily lose an entire day to the pavement and never once feel the itch of boredom. The structural face-lifts have been a massive win, transforming the space into a genuinely premium destination. They have a powerhouse gauntlet of anchor stores--Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and Neiman Marcus--flanked by a relentless selection of clothing boutiques and a Lego store that remains a pure, nostalgic trip. The food court is the gold standard in variety, standing as one of the best executions of the concept you'll find anywhere. But the real evolution hits in the summer, when the al fresco dining areas open up, offering an outdoor oasis amid the retail hustle. It gets crowded--of course it does--but with plenty of parking to absorb the madness, it remains an absolute favorite. Selection & Shopping (5/5): An elite tier of retail which runs seamlessly from accessible mid-range staples to high-end luxury. The movie theater upgrade is spectacular, a complete night-and-day transformation from what it used to be. Food & Dining for a mall (4.5/5): A massive cut above standard mall fare. The sheer volume of food options is impressive, and the outdoor al fresco spaces give it a vibrant, lively energy during the warmer months. Layout & Convenience (4.25/5): The modern renovations have aged beautifully, keeping the massive footprint easy on the eyes. Despite the heavy crowds, the abundance of parking means you aren't fighting a losing battle before you even get through the doors.

I scoured each floor of the Roosevelt Field mall on a treasure hunt and let me tell you, I got good use of my step counter. The Roosevelt Field mall is massive, clean, well-mapped, and perfect for a group challenge and a long day of exploring. I covered every square inch of this place- from the North and South wings to the East and West wings, alone!! Company would have been nice! I love the huge food court, and it does wonders for every palate. So many stores; Bloomingdales, JC Penny, Macy's and several other small clothing stores provided slim opportunities and did not fulfill my needs. One would think that they can find any and everything at a mall, right? Not in my case. Had I been looking for something simple, I may have not spent hours inside of Roosevelt Field mall and I would have stopped at one store. Not to be misunderstood, Roosevelt Field mall is an ideal place to look for excellent finds and thousands of people score with what they are looking for and what they are not looking for. For me, it was a no hitter this time, but I did see awesome sales with great value for the dollar. I won't count them out; I will come on another day when I am just browsing. Who knows maybe I will find a big catch in one store that will give me reasons to be happy and to .... Inspire more, Yelp more!
