my favorite store is back open so happy! i always find great deals here. with new social distancing guidelines they limit amount of people allowed inside, while waiting outside a staff member or two would come out offerering some water bottles which i thought was a nice gesture, after all people were baking in the sun a bit. dressing rooms are currently not opened (unsure when they will reopen) so i decided to be that girl and the few shirts i tried on i tried on over my shirt i was currently wearing because i was unaware of a return policy at that moment. the register line is long but its normal for tjmaxx/ marshalls so i didnt mind the wait we now all have this extra patience waiting on lines i never mind them and neither did everyone else at this point. i made sure i browsed all areas of the store to crosscheck myself. once online there was about a 10-15 minute wait. they have less registers open about 4 and they are spaced out with large dividers. there was one associate delegating which register was next. when i was checking out i asked the cashier what the return policy was on clothing especially bc fitting rooms are not available the gentleman said its the same 30 day return policy as it was prior to closing. it was music to my ears! huge sigh of relief but lucky for me i did my semi-try overs already :) read more

As any other TJ Maxx or any of their sister stores, there's always a long line for the register with only a few registers open. I would definitely consider it a smaller TJ Maxx. Lots of clothes, bag section is decent. If you're looking for women's shoes, there's very little selection. read more

This has to be the cleanest TJMaxx on Long Island. I appreciate shopping in an organized store that's free of clutter. They are open late to accommodate the Christmas rush. I was able to pick up some lovely gifts for my coworkers. read more

Here now at 9:05 on Monday night. Only one register open and they are training at this register. Line is in the back of the store and management says deal with it if we want to put items on hold we can but other than that can't do anything about it. Terrible customer service. Glad someone on line said something because this is poor store management. read more

My favorite TJ by far !!!! They have the best items in full stock. As a new location this store is clean and well organized. They have the better shoe section. More options and sizes. They also have more athletic shoes than the other stores. There are never any long lines around the corner and I really love that the staff is professional. I purchased some banded platform sandals today and they were a good price for $24.99. I will admit that some of the footwear and clothing is a bit overpriced but sometimes you can find a good deal. Stop in weekly for deals. read more

This store is full of merchandise. More so than other TJMaxx's. And the people that work there are friendly, at least the ones I dealt with were. Why 3 stars?? I often buy my toddler clothes from TJ Maxx and I went to the store for that specific reason. However all of their clothes had sensors right in the middle of the garments, so that when the sensor would be removed, there would be a hole in the middle of the clothes, rather than on the seam where it should go. For that reason, I didn't buy any clothes. They do have TONS of toys as well (I say this as it is Christmas time). read more

PEEEEE-UU .... what is that smell in the store? For years, as soon as the doors open the musty smell hits me right in the face! It smells like an old, musty basement that had a water leak years ago and was never properly cleaned up. There's probably mold in the floors and walls. I don't know how the workers can stand to be in there. I run in and run out holding my breath! One day, it smelled like they tried to mask the smell with 100 cans of Lysol causing my nose to burn and tasted it in my mouth for days. This store needs to be knocked down and renovated ASAP for everyone's health safety! The Nassau County Department of Health needs to inspect this place. read more

This newly Renovated used to be a Duane Reade and Party City. Has private parking infront of store. My first impression walking in..hmmm looks like a mini version of the marshalls down the block. Household items.. clothes for men, woman, children, shoes and accessories, toys, home decor, household needs and a few pieces of furniture. Aisles felt a little cramped, boxes and storage bins throughout the floor. Nice size changing room, clean! Cashiers at all resgister and staff seems nice. I will visit again. ****Update: no more boxes on floor, shelves are neatly stocked;) pleasant atmospere. Only two registers were open this time around. read more

This store is so amazing. I have been here a few times to find clothes and they have all been successful. Dont get me wrong they do have less of a selection than the new hyde park location. However, it is enough to choose what you need. The staff is very nice and there is ample parking. The store is clean and they have nice fitting rooms. I highly recommend this store rather than marshalls. Much less of a hassle! read more

Being a TJ Maxx fan for so long, I needed to check out this location especially not being too far away from my place and it having great reviews. First off, it is a VERY organized store. Every aisle is organized and things aren't thrown around like I have seen in other stores (like the New Hyde Park location). Although the variety of clothing is smaller than other stores, I did walk out with a few things, clothing and home decor! On top of it all, the staff is great! I was walking around with things in my hand and a staff member brought over a cart out of nowhere. Even the cashiers were friendly. The store was not as hectic as others and the fitting rooms are nice. Will definitely be back! read more
