The Coinstar Kiosk is located on the left when you walk in. Coinstar kiosks turn the coins you toss in a jar into something you really want - like cash, a eGift Card, or a charity donation. Fees vary by retailer, brand, and location, with no fee options available. We chose an eGift Card to Texas Roadhouse. The paper eGift Card has a unique code printed on them and I would use the code when I pay at the restaurant. It was a very easy process and the kiosk walked you through all the steps. Everyone knows Walmart. I love Walmart, and this one was no exception. We visited on a Friday afternoon, and it was pleasantly crowded with short lines Almost anything you want, you will find it here - foods, pharmacy, home goods, although they did not have an all-in-one computer which I was looking for. The aisles are well marked. There is a Subway inside the store. As a male, I wish they had a bigger Men's Dept. Also, if they had better dining options, I would rate the store higher. But for now, I'll still give it 4 stars which is pretty good. read more

I don't shop at Walmart but I needed to get a mask for the the Yelp masquerade event on 10/28 and a friend needed to pick up items so my friend suggested I go. They didn't have any mask for the event in store but they offered some online. They were very crowded, infact they were so crowded I used my peripheral vision to see a shopper acting like he was playing dodge call trying to get around us. The store was messy, things falling off the shelf, people placing items in the wrong place. ! At the end of this shopping experience they didn't have any bags to place items inside. They guy at the checkout acted as if he didn't what to be at work and there are shopping carts all over the parking lot in the writing spots. Up against cats, in between cars. I can't take it here. I'm just glad that I was on a short line. read more

I actually like Walmart out of state, it's more almost like a Target out of state. In NY it's basically um just not a good store lol. Years ago when pregnant for some reason my mom could only send money thru Walmart so I had to go pick up her money (to reimburse for a plane ticket) I remember standing on the line feeling like I was in one of those movies. Kids screaming, another kid was lost and they were trying to find his mother paging her over the intercom and wondering why no one was coming to get him lol. Anyway that was 6 years ago. Last night I thought since it was almost 9 pm I'd venture out to Walmart with my now 6 year old boy and my mom who now lives in NY! Upstate Walmarts are better btw. Store was still a sort of disaster. We wanted to find a pokemon thing they said they had, Target is definitely better at that because nope was not there. As we were about to leave disappointed but at least I found some cute leggings, my mom went walking around checking all these random carts of merch. I mean do they have no one that puts stuff back on the shelves? Maybe they should hire someone who does that or hire more. 10 minutes of checking random carts my mom suddenly found the pokemon thing and my son was happy. That's why this Walmart gets 3 stars instead of 1. I then checked after we purchased it, and it was now shown as sold out on the app at this location so I guess their app can be correct with what is in stock. It just probably won't be where it says it is :P aisle M5 can mean random shopping cart full of stuff no one has put back yet. I will still favor Target but I do have some hope for Walmart. Why is the cookie trays so dirty first thing in the morning? I walked into the Walmart on Old Country Road to get a sandwich at 9am and this is what I saw. And the server pictured here is trying to tell me he just opened. But he was making a sandwich for a customer. This Walmart is really big and can get really crowded. However, whenever the Walmart closer to me gets out of stock with items I want, this is my go-to place to get it. Today I went for some toothpaste that happened to be locked up behind glass, and I asked about 5 or 6 associates in the blue jackets to help me and open the case. No one had a key or assisted me. Saturday 10/28 2:15 pm One of those people who is borderline eager to burst out telling you all the ways they can't and won't assist you. Stared off to the side during our entire conversation. I definitely like this Walmart when compared to other locations in NYC (well there's not many). Parking is ample here and the major parking lot is shared with other vendors as well located within the shopping plaza. It is definitely smaller than the Walmart in valley stream but overall has everything that I need. I definitely avoid shopping during the day and rush hours. Rush hours can be overwhelming as I have noticed there's barely any space inside to walk around and I hate waiting on lines to purchase just 2 items. Best to go around 9pm as they close at 12am or before 1pm. Cleanliness depends as sometimes everything is nicely stacked in each aisle and then on crazy days the shelves are empty with merchandise on the floor. But overall it's fairly decent! If you are hungry help yourself to some Subway sandwich which is located next to customer service center (closes at 10pm). Plenty of self checkout stations as well in the same vicinity. There's frozen food but no fresh fruits and vegetables. Employees: depends again on whom you encounter as I have dealt with rude and super sweet ones. Not a huge store therefore easy to navigate. read more

Walmart usually has the best prices for their items. Have come here several times, is usually crowded and the clientel is always interesting to say the least. When looking for assistances it's always different, I guess it depends on who you ask. I always try to be nice and considerate to the workers because who knows how the management treat them or other customers, and I ususally get a positive reponse. One time we came here to do a return and it went fairly smooth, it was during the week and in the evening so it wasn't too crowded and I was polite to the staff. So when shopping at Walmart, try to be considerate of the workers who knows what they have to endure on a daily basis and there may be a better response. They do have some of the best prices so Walmart will be around for a while. read more

This was my second time at this Walmart and also my second time at a Walmart in general. I was searching for a particular brand of infant formula and they had it when I saw the price I grabbed four containers. When I went to the checkout, the price didn't match the tag, which was about $13 cheaper. When I brought this to the attention of the lady who does price checks, the tag had already been removed. She didn't give me the price, which if I'm correct is illegal, even though I had taken a picture of it when I grabbed the four containers that I purchased. Looking at the picture I noticed that the price tag was for a different item, but it is not my fault that the tag was in the wrong spot. read more

My dad received a $50 Walmart gift card so here we are on another beautiful sunny day to redeem it. At first, my GPS got us lost and we ended up at The Gallery of Westbury so I called Walmart...no one picks up at customer service so I dialed again and spoke with someone from the pharmacy department. She told me that we have to drive about 5 mins more but luckily we found it. The prices are definitely affordable than most of their competitors. I got a lot of stuff in one visit...bread, milk, cereal, juice cartons, and etc. Every register was open so you just got to look for the shortest line. I like that the cashier scanned an item then placed it in the spinning bags behind her which makes the check-out experience much faster. read more

This is the most disgusting walmart I have ever been to. It was filthy everywhere you looked. The store looked unkempt and extremely messy I also went to the bathroom during my visit. There was toliet paper everywhere. The garbage were over flowing. There were four stalls. 1 was out of order. 1 had urine In it, another has feces in the toliet and the last had water on the floor. None of the stalls had toliet paper in them. I checked each one. There were no paper towels to be seen. The toliet flushers were also broken in 1 2 stalls. read more

The store seems fine when you walk in, but if you're looking for a specific item and you can't find it. Customer service is nowhere to be found, only at counters. I appreciate that the staff is organizing the shelves and all. However, they can't help people find what they're looking for because most of them don't speak English, so they get confused like a deer in headlights. So they go to the next person and just completely ignore someone who doesn't speak their language, I felt embarrassed. Don't eat at Walmart Subway. Their foot longs use to cost $11 and now due to inflation, it's $16 plus taxes. It's very close in the $20 range. Definitely not worth your money. Also the Hindu cashier that's working there (I think is the manager) looked like he's going to faint. His arms were moving very slow like a sloth, he had a hard time counting my change, I don't know. What I do know is that he should be on the verge of retiring soon. The only thing I could say, that's briefly good is that some of the prices are reasonable and affordable. read more

My go-to walmart when I dint need meats and produce. This is a smaller Walmart. Like a mini-mart, a baby-mart. They don't have a produce,meat, or bakery section. It also has a smaller clothes and shoes section than other larger walmarts. It does have limited refrigerator sections but carries the basics like milk, cheese, yogurt, frozen pizzas, veggies, fruits, etc. BUT a lot less than other Walmart. Its convenient because it right by other stores that I frequent so I always add this to my shopping trips. The staff is always super nice and helpful. read more

Hell no. This Walmart looks like it was on the set of walking Dead. I kid you not. The isles looked as if Shaquille O'Neal stood in the middle of them stretched his arms out as far as he could and then ran to the end of each one. Remember that scene in "Quiet Place" when the little boy grabs that noisy airplane and the family has to take the batteries out of it. He grabbed it in this Walmart. I'm sure the item that I wanted was somewhere in this Walmart but I didn't feel like searching through the items that were standing and knocked over. To be honest don't even clean this Walmart keep it messy and make a fun game out of it. "If you find what you're looking for you get 10% off". One of my least favorite Walmart locations. It is always crazy here. There is barely enough parking for all the patrons that are trying to shop. No matter if it is a weekend or a weekday, there are always lines. Came here to get some school supplies. The one person I did ask for help walked me to the aisle I needed to be at. The cashiers were grumpy and rude. Items were all over and were just a mess with the back to school rush. I remember coming here some years ago to buy a 5 subject notebook for school and the entire school supply section wasn't even there because it was getting moved. I seem to always catch this store at a bad time...or it is just always disorganized. Either way, avoid this location if you can. read more

This store is very mismanaged. Their corporate customer service is horrible. The other day I went shopping for a kid's birthday party during the week. I purchased oscar mayer cheese dogs 2 packages. I get home only to find out that the hot dogs expire three days later. I called up customer service at the corporate store and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Hector. I explained what happened and he told me I am sorry there's nothing I can do for you. I asked to speak to a manager and he refused to put me on to one. If I would have served those hot dogs to my children and they got sick Walmart would have a major problem. A word of advice check the dates of everything you buy there. I came to this location to do a return that I had bought back in December. Now just as a background, I do not live in any area where there is a Walmart. In the five boros of New York City, it is illegal to have a Walmart, so I was unable to know what the policy aswell. When I made a purchase in December, the receipt only had a date of the purchase, and in the back it's spoke of a survey. There was no return date or No policy noted!!!! Now the thing I was trying to return it was only five dollars. And I wasn't even trying to return it, I was simply trying to just I exchange something for my daughter. When I came to customer service, they told me that unfortunately they will not be able to give me a refund because the item I was returning was a Christmas item and it was past season. When I explain to the woman that I live in the Bronx and that there is no Walmart I would have to pay a toll to get over here, and that they are allowed to make exceptions underCircumstances, all the managers denied my request. Super frustrated that I had to come all the way out to Long Island just to make a return to find out that I couldn't. This is a ridiculous location and I would never come here again they have officially lost my business. Plus their store sucks it's unorganized and doesn't have anything. Even the woman who is at the register had the audacity to tell me that Christmas was a year ago... I'm sorry Christmas was literally only 3 1/2 months ago. This might be the closest Walmart to my home in Queens! When we come here, our wallets are empty! The kids toy section is HUGE that's why hahaha They have almost every toy character you can think of!!! Noooo, I'm just kidding, we don't go all out and let our kids buy the entire store of toys. We set limits and only let them choose a few. I really like their customer service and return policy. I went early morning right when they opened to return an item and it was easy breezy to my surprise because something always goes wrong when I do returns. But nope, it was absolutely smooth sailing for me. I had no problem. It was in and out! I didn't even need to show the credit card and they credited right back into the card! We bought a bicycle for our daughter here. I really like the fact that they have various bikes for kids to try before buying. It's very helpful!! Walmart management did nothing to assist me in getting it replaced and to contact MSI the manufacturer has been a challenge. Very irresponsible and non reliable. I paid over $300 for this item. This is one of the worst Walmarts I've been to. Not only is it overcrowded (and during COVID nonetheless) but everything always seems to be out of stock. There are almost never any workers around because most are too busy speaking with each other so customers need to find products themselves. I spent 10 minutes wandering around looking for someone to help me. The employee I found was very helpful and helped me locate what I was looking for. I have learned to avoid buying clothes and shoes from here because of past bad experiences from mostly the poor quality. My son wanted a pair of Brahma Boots because he wears size 12W and they had a pair in black. He only need a spare boot for the snow. So he got them. Well, I was not disappointed, the shoes fell apart after just two winters. The solos were OK but the uppers just cracked and started to peeled away.
