Every time I come here, I find this store is always busy and chaotic! My nieces and I were bored so decided to stop in, and spent all but 10 min and then left. They have a good beauty section, with a variety of brands to choose from, and an array of items for all needs. The woman's clothing department was a mess. You have 2 "associates" working the technology department who are focused on one customer, who seemed like a friend more than a customer, for almost 20 minutes ; while paying zero attention to other customers who need help. I asked another store associate for help - who told me " there are two people working technology please ask them". I go back and ask either individual for help and I'm told " we're not working this area. Please find someone else." Complete waste of time and zero customer service skills unless your friends with them. read more

I went with my plus one for a quick pick up of something that was ordered. I don't normally shop at Target but I am impressed by their pick up process. e-commerce has help helped both customers and the store. Kenny was out associate, we waited in line but there was no one in front so we were next. Kenny came over and he was like Champagne! Effervescent as can be. He has compelling energy that uplifts anyone that comes in contact with him. This store has any and everything that you might need. Updating from my last review of this branch in 2017 Needed a scooter for this visit but sadly there weren't any. Well we found one but that ran out of power about 3.5 minutes into the ride :-( All staff but especially a gentleman cashier really tried their best to assist. The cashier called/paged and asked around all while cashing other guests out. He has such a wonderful spirit. (He chatted with each customer and I could see they enjoyed him) We waited a while as their porter made his way around the parking lot to no avail. No more scooters to be found. We decided to take our time and head onto the floor confidently. It was a slow process but we got it done. After each shopping experience you know the app alerts Target's marketing team and I was sent the usual survey. When it asked what could have made this trip better, I mentioned that we could only locate two scooters and they were inoperable. So zero scooters available. Three days later I received an email from staff. I liked that. I like that they took it seriously enough to reach out on my concern. Would they immediately fix the issue especially in time for the busy Nov24'-Jan25' shopping season? I cannot say. What I appreciliked was BEING HEARD. A lot of times that's really what many customers want. To know you are listening and hopefully will keep your promises. I'ma end this review here because I'm starting to sound political. Target is located in Roosevelt Raceway Center. There are plenty of parking spots. Usually all Target locations have a very similar setup so it's not too unfamiliar. The aisles were very organized and stocked. I always enjoy looking at the Bullseye's Playground & Dollar Spot section to find $1, $3 and $5 items which is located by the entrance. These are a great bargain. Also, after Christmas, many holiday items are 50% - 70% off. With younger kids, I don't really have the luxury to shop around so now I mostly do drive up/curbside pick up, or go into the store to pick up the items. I came twice for the same order, once on December 24th around 2 or 3pm, and there was no where to park for drive up, and as I entered the store, I see at least 30+ people waiting in line for online pickup. I did not stay, since that would prob translate to at least a 30 to 45 minute wait. I come back on December 26th around 930p. There was drive up parking spots, but barely. I opted for the order pick up in the store, and managed to be the 2nd in line. I waited for at least 5 minutes before asking the person in front of me if she was being helped, and she wasn't. I have already waited 20 minutes already and there has been no help. I wouldn't come back to this location anymore, there's other locations that are better staffed and efficient. I swore I would not shop this location anymore, but I did out of convenience. After more issues recently,I will be switching locations. Twice in the past month, I have placed drive up orders and when I get to the store am told that some of the items are not in stock. Normally in the past they would notify you,when the order is ready,that the items are not in stock and you can re-order at that time,but they seem to not be doing that anymore. The person that brought the items to my car explained that sometimes the workers get lazy and don't notify the customers that the items are not in stock. He did apologize for my frustration, but still it's not an excuse for the rest of the workers that don't know how to do their job. read more

When we were having trouble with our Ipod, the manager in electronics was quite helpful Their grocery area is excellent. If you choose your time carefully, checkout is swift. This is a nice big Target in Long Island. The bad thing is due to the current nyc laws letting people steal items under $1000 and thus letting them walk right out of the store with no one legally allowed to stop them... Has Target locking up all the vitamins and health related drugs under lock and key. Although I totally agree with this due to the current situation it's not a good thing when over 8 people are waiting for an employee to come and unlock the cabinets. I know I was there with a friend and there was at least 9 others waiting for a Target staff member Finally most of us just gave up and went elsewhere. This is definitely a awesome target store. Very spacious and clean. My wife introduced me to this particular location. This has become one of our favorites. From the children section for my new born son or the adults technology and house house hold utensils & products. But one of my favorite sections is the food and snacks section. I was looking for some Italian 4 cheese cheez it's for a long time .I tried all these different super markets and know one had them ,I mean no one. I was beginning to think that were discontinued or something, I was devastated. But at last we had found them at this target store, I was in a state of shock .good things come to those that wait. Target in general is a dangerous store. I feel like they do a great job of marketing items to make you buy more. However, this store can be a hit or miss on items. As people have reviewed before, they are often sold out of many items (or they might be slow to restock). We've particularly found this to be true for their cat food aisle. We ultimately end up buying online or from a dedicated pet store as target is sold out. I will say this is one of the few locations that had Oatly products in our area so because of this, we frequent it a lot. Not much experience with the customer service. They have 2 self check out sections on either end, which usually have 1-2 machines down. But it is usually a quick checkout. read more

I practically live in this store. It's my neighborhood store and favorite location. I fell in love with Target when I completed my baby registry back in 2011. They just make life simple and easy. Run and done. The Online order and Pick-Up in store as well as the new Drive-Up service feature were invented for mothers. I especially love this store because they are well stocked and organized. They always have every beauty, toy, clothing and household item I need. Unlike many of the other Nassau locations. The guy who works at the online Pick Up counter with the dreads is a sweetheart and extremely fast and friendly. That's the way retail should always be when you're spending hard earned cash. They have the little Starbucks and Pizza Hut counters if you need a refreshment after shopping which is always helpful when bringing children shopping with you. Be smart. Great location with a large parking lot. Currently, one of the entrances is closed. Staff here have always been kind. Lines move very fast even during COVID. There are self checkout stations on both ends of the store entrance/exits. Everything has been well-stocked except for the dairy section. Shelves are pretty full. What a disappointment! There were so many things out of stock across the board. Even things that weren't on sale just weren't available. We have been here a few times before and it was the same way. It is fairly spacious and there are a lot of workers around. However, the lack of items is disappointing and I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. read more

This review is solely for LatKeisha. She was an absolute sweetheart and helped my friends and I buy a crib. So I came to New York to meet a friend and go to his and his girl's baby shower. My other friend and I wanted to buy him a crib as a surprise and we found a really nice one at $300 dollars. When we went to the check out, LatKesiha asked us if we knew about their price matching, my friends and I all said "no". She took the time to find the crib on her phone at another store at $200! We were blown away. She rung us right up and had a manager help us out and we were out! Overall; with Target, I never really find myself complaining, but man, today really surprised me! read more

This store is huge and at a convenient location for me , as i make use of other businesses in the neighborhood . The grocery and paper goods aisles are neat and well stocked , so kudos to the older employees I've seen tending to them . Likewise , those working self checkout are very pleasant and helpful . So why one star ? Because it is an adventure every time you walk through the door ! The majority of young male employees are just awful , showing absolutely no consideration for customers , brushing past us like a pack stray dogs . Seriously ! Likewise , they think nothing of congregating in the front lobby , acting like the store is a social club . Today I reached my limit , when one tall young man virtually brushed me aside while I was waiting on the self checkout line , without a word of apology ! I went ballistic , loudly castigating him for his rude behavior ; one female employee said a few words to him as well . Definitely one of the larger Targets in the area. This one is a bit out of the way for me but I do go here when I need specific things and need more options. Half this store is practically a real grocery store. Meats, produce, even a beer room. Tons to choose from and since it's so big even when it's crowded you don't feel like anyone is right on top of you. Rest of the store offers a decent selection, as well. There's also an optical center here to get your glasses, as well as the typical CVS and pharmacy aisles. Starbucks and Pizza Hut are in the front. Tons of self-checkout machines along with tons of cashiers. You're in and out of this store pretty quick. read more

I drive past my local Target to shop at this one, and have been doing so for years. This store has gone down pretty bad. They're slow to restock to the point I asked an employee if this store was closing. Also, I needed toiletries and vitamins, both were locked in cases. The call buttons were removed so I'm standing there trying to chase down an employee with a key. No one had a key but said they would "call" someone. That person never came. On my fourth try I found someone. Unfortunately, I'm giving this store a rest for a while and go to my local one in Valley Stream. That one leaves a lot to be desired. But at least I'm not traveling as far. read more

I've been to a bunch of targets in my life (or Tarjays as my Aunt used to say) and this one might be the biggest one I've ever been it! I could be way wrong here as perhaps they are all the same size but this one felt massive to me. I'm only 5'6 so everywhere typically feels massive to me (comes in handy when sitting in coach on a plane but I digress..) I was looking for a coffee shop in the area to get work done and when I was searching on Yelp, I found they had a starbucks inside. I needed to charge my phone, had some work to do on my laptop, and was craving a nice black coffee (just how my dad taught me... thought I didn't actually enjoy it that way until my 30's). The coffee was good, just like any Starbucks but I have to say, I was a bit disappointed here. I know that since it's in a Target, I probably shouldn't expect the same level of tidiness perhaps but I'd say 80% of the tables were sticky and had crumbs on them. I do realize that there's loads of traffic in and out and it's not fun cleaning after strangers but felt it could have been managed a bit better. Came to target looking for headphones my wife wanted to buy me for Father's Day. We looked at a few and saw they had Beat Buds on sale. It was locked in the case and I wanted to see the specs since I am very picky when it comes to my music. I looked for someone for assistance, found a young man, Freddy, a very pleasant and helpful individual. He unlocked the case took out the Beats and found one that was brought back and was able to open the box and read the manual . The manual did not have specs and they didn't have the color I wanted so Freddy said we could check another store and we suggested the one in Levittown. He immediately checked and saw the other store had 3 I wanted and we went there and bought them. I'm giving 5 Stars for the exceptional customer service. I frequently pick up at targets around the Long island area. Farmingdale, Islip and Freeport. The pickup systems in place for these targets are executed to perfection. I place my order at target.com and 2 hours later I show up and pick up. There is a designated associate at the pickup counter. I give the associate my order number and ID. A few minutes later my order is handed to me and I can go on about my life. Unfortunately that is not the case at the Westbury target. Also the closest target to me. Soon as you walk in to Westbury pickup area there is no one at the pick up counter. Unlike the other targets I just mentioned with a dedicated team member there to greet you. Westbury greets you with confusion. The guest has no idea how to initiate the process. Most of the time i'm waiting 10 minutes before someone asks "have you been helped?" When that doesn't happen I start randomly asking employees "is this where I pick up?" To see if someone will help. Pickup employees are running around with there scanners, I guess attending to the cars parked outside in the pickup area. The problem is guests picking up inside see them as pickup associates. When they walk right by us and dont say a word or help us, we feel even more confused. Why not do what all the other targets in the area do? Why not have a dedicated team member who doesn't leave the area and attends to people picking up inside? Today 1/1 at around 1:15pm there were about 5 people waiting to be helped. About 4 pickup employees running around and ignoring everyone on the line. One of them finally says "I think he needs help" Then proceeds to stare at her scanner and walk away. This is unacceptable. Is there a GM at this location? Is there a manager dedicated to ensuring pickup systems are trained and being executed? Do these associates need to be retrained? Please do something about this. read more

The worst Target. I use to love coming here, but in recent years and more so in recent months the customer service has taken a steady decline. They never have any cashiers available, everything is locked up and when you ask for help all you're guaranteed are nasty looks. Trust me I don't like pressing the button and waiting for over 10 minutes. Ulta at Target is worse. The area in general has just become completely ghetto. I think i have witnessed an altercation almost every time I've stopped in whether it's in the parking lot or in the store. This is why I avoided Walmart just behind them. Fruits are a bargain. More variety in this larger Westbury branch. They have Pocky treats usually seen in H Mart. Excellent for one stop shopping and convenient. This has to be the worst target to go to. I asked a worker for help in the store to look for something in the back that I saw online and she gave me an attitude. She clearly did not want to help me at all and then as I'm leaving and get in my car, I see all these carts all over the place in the lot and one slams into my car and leaves marks. I tell the man working with the carts as my boyfriend was moving it away from my car and checking the damage, the man's response was "excuse me sir be careful with that" and completely disregarded that his cart hit my car. First of all WE LOVE TARGET... It's everything you need all in one spot with an easy to navigate layout.. We shop at Target weekly for some grocery items, clothing and back to school needs. Not to mention if you sign up for the Target Red Card you receive 5% back on every purchase which is an added bonus to their already great prices.. Only downfall to Target is finding a good parking spot, getting a cart (as sometimes they are all in use or still in the parking lot) and the check out lines can get a bit long at times. Each and EVERY time I have gone into THIS location, the staff has been AMAZING! They are hard-working, yet they have taken the time, with patience, friendliness, kindness and care, with me and others. They do maintain a fun and jovial atmosphere amongst themselves but it is more like a family environment versus a circus. They work hard at keeping it clean and straight. Popular items do go fast so if you ever see something, grab it because it WILL be gone later. There is a mini-Starbucks on site, along with Target's concession of franks, popcorn, etc. It is not a food destination. In every Target I have been in this as well also has a CVS Pharmacy located right inside as well as my favorite Starbucks! This location is going through some renovations however they still keep everything well kept and easy to find! Use the Target Cartwheel app and get some extra savings on some items, as well as on the Cartwheel app you can find where certain items are located throughout the store and the price so you do not need to use the price scanner or search for someone to help you. read more

What a great day to be looking, shopping and working at Target. The desperation shopping is over and the vibe here from customers and employees is that of relaxation. All of the employees are just being super helpful and wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Quite a bit on sale today, but after tomorrow I imagine that a lot more items will be marked down. Bathing suits are already being placed on the floor and more summer items are waiting to head out to the shopping floor. Of course, Valentines is/was being set even before the holidays were over. The lines for guest services are still long due to the Christmas returns still being in full swing. Another real positive is you can actually get a coffee at Starbucks without a huge line now. One of my favorite retail store. It sells everything you could think of. The pharmacy, snack stands and produce are an A+. This store is the biggest in the island. Huge parking lot and situated in a comemrcial center with good businesses next to it. Each time I visit the store, I have noticed always some distinctable changes whether in merchandise location or on their display. It's quite a good marketing strategy, never has a dull moment in shopping to this place. Prices are affordable and it's quality standard is not behind from the current leading store of same category. It has organized racks, plenty of registers and visual section locator. I came in today for Back to College shopping needs. I was not surprised seeing a specific section for it. The store has a special section for the "in-season" merchandise. It makes shopping much easier. They have price checker for any in doubt pricing needs, an inside phone for any customer service help if associates are not available on the floor. The registers line is plentiful, never feel frustrated in going to any line. This is a highly recommendable store . read more

I had to come in here for a few more items. I decided i was going to make fruity pebble krispee treats.To my luck the fruit pebbles were on sale and so was the marshmallows. when i came up to the register the marshmallows which were on sale for 99 cents wrong up $1.29 I know its only 30 cents difference but the sign by the marshmallows were on sale. I kindly told the cashier and he made the adjustment for me. He didn't verify with a manager or call a head cashier over. I dont know if that is protocol but maybe I was very genuine in my response. but without hesitation he changed it. he kept the line moving and was very efficient. on another side note. they have new shopping carts and baskets. they have a much more modern look and no squeaky wheels! read more

So I hate Target at a conceptual level because of what they've done to their employees in some locations. Hopefully it wasn't ever in this area. This store doesn't have a Starbucks, or any concession selling any kind of sustenance . I was last fere just after Thanksgiving and the bathrooms were closed then, and they are still closed now in mid-February. ..SMH. The aisles are incredibly narrow, and then in order that makes no fucking sense. I tried to find three different things that I needed, and could only locate one -- a new k-cup compatible brewer....and the cheapest of them was $18 more expensive then what I paid for it at BedBath&Beyond half-an-hour later.
