Don't let that discourage you. He's there to do one thing. To say that Dr. Nguyen exam was thorough and meticulous, is almost an understatement. He kept me in that chair until there was obviously no better numbers we could get. I have never had an eye examine that painstaking (and i'm 74, so I've had a few). It's obvious that he deeply cares about what he does and does the very best he can. Without any hesitation I recommend him.

I'm extremely disappointed with the Walmart Vision Center in Martinez, CA (1021 Arnold Dr)…read more I made multiple attempts to return two pairs of glasses within the 60-day return period, but the Vision Center was closed every time I went--despite posted hours stating they're open until 7 PM. I visited twice on Saturdays around 4 PM and again on Monday, May 27 at 5 PM, and there was no one there. I'm unable to go during weekdays due to my schedule, so weekends are my only option--and even then, they're not open. They also don't answer their phone, and the store manager  told me they operate separately with no direct way to contact them. I'm unable to return my 2 glasses today, April 27, and can only come back next weekend. My return period ends May 1.  I'm requesting that Walmart make an exception and honor my return. Very frustrating experience.  Atleast have a sign when your hours are changed.

Definitely cheaper here than Home Depot and Walgreens. Both wanted to charge $67. Walmart had it for $54.99. Lastly, I dislike that our cashier, Kevin, needed support from a manager and as usual... one could not be found. There were 2 cashiers on the left side of him that watched him scramble around looking for support. Instead of helping without being asked, they stook arrive taking amongst themselves. Finally, Kevin did ask and one came over and helped at that point.

And I can't stress enough minimal selection in of them in a couple coolers and aisle islands. The produce was all bruised. And you go to get anything else in the store and 80% of the products are under lock and key and you have to page and wait for an employee. The employees are cool, no beef with them, but the store itself is not a great shopping location

Her condition has deteriorated to the point that I was reaching burn out and needed some additional help. After speaking with owner, Alyna, she scheduled a time to meet me and my mom on the same day. That was the day when she was able to witness one of her combative moments. Realizing how important it was to provide some assistance, she went through the intake process to assess my mom's needs. I requested a Spanish speaking lady and she immediately got to work on her research. About 2 weeks later, she had the right person for me, brought her to our home to introduce her and get her started. My mom was not eager to have a stranger come to take care of her and, needless to say, we had a very difficult first day. However, Maria showed great patience, a very caring and calm attitude, followed all my instructions, and little by little she won her over! We just finished our second week and so far I'm very happy with the results. The bond between Maria and my mom is getting stronger and we keep making progress. I'm so relieved to have and extra pair of hands that will help maintain my sanity! Thanks Alyna for being there for us!
