The whole staff was courteous and professional; however, Dr. Weinstein (the Optimetrist) and Sylvia (the Optician) truly stood out. Dr. Weinstein took extra time and caution to do a complete exam including a skilled slit lamp one as there were a few surprising findings in my vision. She also proved to have a deeper knowledge of retinal pigmented lesions than any Optometrist I've encountered before. Sylvia pushed me to try more frames than I typically would have, if anything trying to downsale me on some, and provided (excellent) advice not solely on the looks of the frame but also the most detailed fit advice for frames that I've had (and I had good opticians before). All of this extra care from their team happened without making me feel rushed in any way, although we were getting perilously close to their closing time. A++ service for both eye health and optics!

There is plenty of parking since it is located in the Woodland Commons Shopping Mall. Her staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. The check-in process was swift and simple. She was thorough with my eye exam and took the time to answer my questions. They carry a variety of brands of frames and the staff was helpful in assisting me in finding the exact frame I want. I was very happy with the service and experience. I am truly appalled by some of the low rating reviews. Eye exams and eyewear can be costly especially with add-ons and features. I don't think it's fair to give a one-star review or complain about the experience because of the cost.

In my experience, they have always been on time! Dr. Shahid is very friendly and thorough and she explains everything throughout the exam. Also, she doesn't take things too lightly and has recommended me to see another specialist to take some additional tests. After the exam, the staff is very helpful and makes sure to explain what is covered with my insurance. The answer any questions I have and give me the best options to ensure my out of pocket costs is down to the minimum. If I order anything like new glasses or contacts, they come in pretty quickly. Communication is great, I get a call, text or email. Lastly, if I need any adjustments, I walk right in and the staff is quick to make adjustments to my eye-ware. Excellent place to get fitted for a pair of glasses or contacts…read more I had appointment with Dr Socwell Ryan. He was on time, professional, and patient. I was with two toddlers :O) and he still did an excellent job, as well as took time to talk a bit to my over-talkative toddler, showed him some "Gears" and let him press a button (my toddler wants to come back again!) Not that I am recommending coming with toddlers, but just saying that my eyes were checked thoroughly under not so optimal conditions and Dr Socwell bedside manners were excellent too. Natalia helped me choose my frames (I liked three, we narrowed it down to one in 10 min or less). I picked them up today and they are great. Natalia did absolutely brilliant job there. I had to wait a bit for Natalia to complete all the computer forms/verify insurance etc, but another young lady Nora stepped in and helped to speed up that process. I would have liked a bit more explanation from Natalia regarding actual lenses, since on all the upgrades I was not covered by my insurance and I wasn't sure if I needed all three upgrades. Nora explained one upgrade to me (even showed me her glasses to make me understand the difference better), but I was not her client so on the other two upgrades I just trusted Natalia without explanation... Those two lenses upgrades were over $200 extra, so a little explanation as to it's purpose would have been nice... Don't get me wrong, my prescription sunglasses look great, and I am very happy with them, but I still wander if I could skip at least one upgrade and save myself some money... so be aware and ask questions when it comes to lenses upgrades. Nora helped me with the contact lenses. She was absolutely phenomenal in training me how to put contacts in and take them out of my eye (since it was A long time since I used contacts). That young lady has some serious patience and excellent sense of humour. I learned to put lenses in and out of my eyes in 20-25 minutes with some very good tips from Nora. Overall, this is my second time dealing with Rosin Eyecare and I will definitely come back again even though it's a bit far for me. Just for your information: 1. I would recommend choosing weekdays morning/daytime (if you have that luxury) or first thing in the morning on weekend. It's not too busy and everything is very well timed and you don't have to wait at all. 2. Ask questions when it comes to lenses upgrades (you might not want or need them and those upgrades are not cheap) 3. my insurance doesn't cover contact lenses and the prices without insurance at Rosin Eyecare are a bit high (nearly 50% higher comparing to Costco or online retailers for exact same contacts)... They might price match, I didn't ask (that was my mistake, but it was my first time getting contacts and I had no idea prices can vary that much). I think next batch of contacts I might get from Costco wholesales or online :))) but for everything else I will use Rosin Eyecare, excellent doctor and very helpful front desk!

They intentionally don't give you a copy of your contact prescription by saying you can grab it after you pick up your "free contact sample". I couldn't make it back to pick up my sample and when I called today they pretend like someone was supposed to give it to me. Too bad this exact same thing happened last year so I know they don't give it to you! To make matters worse if you call to get your prescription they claim they don't have access to email but can fax it! Not sure who has a fax machine sitting at home in 2024. Obviously their intention is to have you come back to pick up this free contact sample two weeks later so they can sell you contacts. AND if you call their office you're greeted by Jasmine who obviously isn't experienced with helping customers, talks over you and is outright rude! And she's apparently their office manager. I've NEVER been to an eye Dr in which they hold your prescription hostage! Don't trust this place and go somewhere else around the area. My radar should have gone off when I was in the office for my check up and Jasmine was bullying this older woman. Making it seem like any question she had was an inconvenience and treating her like a criminal. The older woman was just asking why the glasses were so expensive and what she could do to get the price down. I wanted to earn everyone that this is not your place. I've lived here for 20+ years and never had this experience with any other eye dr. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
