They intentionally don't give you a copy of your contact prescription by saying you can grab it after you pick up your "free contact sample". I couldn't make it back to pick up my sample and when I called today they pretend like someone was supposed to give it to me. To make matters worse if you call to get your prescription they claim they don't have access to email but can fax it! Not sure who has a fax machine sitting at home in 2024. Obviously their intention is to have you come back to pick up this free contact sample two weeks later so they can sell you contacts. AND if you call their office you're greeted by Jasmine who obviously isn't experienced with helping customers, talks over you and is outright rude! And she's apparently their office manager. I've NEVER been to an eye Dr in which they hold your prescription hostage! Don't trust this place and go somewhere else around the area. My radar should have gone off when I was in the office for my check up and Jasmine was bullying this older woman. Making it seem like any question she had was an inconvenience and treating her like a criminal. The older woman was just asking why the glasses were so expensive and what she could do to get the price down. I wanted to earn everyone that this is not your place. I've lived here for 20+ years and never had this experience with any other eye dr. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

She was thorough with my eye exam and took the time to answer my questions. They carry a variety of brands of frames and the staff was helpful in assisting me in finding the exact frame I want. I was very happy with the service and experience. I am truly appalled by some of the low rating reviews. Eye exams and eyewear can be costly especially with add-ons and features. I don't think it's fair to give a one-star review or complain about the experience because of the cost.

As a new patient, I would have appreciated if things were explained more clearly. I never asked for a contact lens fitting, but they assumed I did without confirming. I also thought my appointment included a comprehensive exam with retinal imaging and dilation, but I was later told that would cost extra. Dr. Patel mentioned that I have a bit of astigmatism but didn't explain what that means. I was fitted contacts but was not explained to me that I would have dailys again and was not asked which one I would prefer, they just assumed. When I ask a question about it I felt so rushed about things and like my questions were not making sense to them. So I stopped asking more. I left feeling more confused about my eye health than before I came in. They also check your pressure but don't tell you what it is and if it is okay. I don't think I will be going back here again.

Even if you don't have specific vision insurance my blue cross blue shield has given me discounts or covers the exam. The selection of frames they have available is nice although not gigantic.
