Preparing for a possible big earthquake, lol the news got me worried.

I've only been to this Walmart location a few times but I have to say that my experiences have always been good. I recently went into Walmart on a mission to get a few items and both items were in stock. Sugar-free applesauce and an emergency back pack kit. Check out was painless as I went through the self checkout. Got in and got out so no troubles for me.

    Yep, here is my costume.

Came in here looking to solve three puzzles. Two out of three ain't bad! Was in need of some shorts preferably with a decent name attached to it-lol. Was able to secure three nice Reebok shorts, which fit to a tee. I then moved on and asked a few questions about what kind of a memory or storage holder is best for saving a few thousand pictures. That's when I ran into customer service All Star Vincent. This guy knew his stuff from top to bottom and left to right. I was thinking about going on the cheap and getting a little flash drive with two terabytes. He insisted on the more sturdy and more efficient SSD solid state drive 2 tb which should be able to handle a few thousand pictures that we were fortunate to recover going back to the 40s and 50s of the family. And while they didn't have the third product that I was looking for, as mentioned before two out of three ain't bad. But it was CSA, for customer service Vincent who made this trip to Walmart more than worthwhile.

Omg I came here for two items. Caress body wash and Olay daily fave wash. Both were in locked cabinets. I wanted to 20 oz size of Caress. Funny how it showed stock before I came to store and right when I was in store, looking at other Caress body wash sIzes. But they didn't have 30 oz in stock. So I got smaller size (20 oz). No huge deal. Smaller size is only 0.003 cent more per fl oz. I buzzed for someone to open locked cabinet. The guy that came was helpful and friendly. But is clearly overworked. It seems like everyone needed him to open a locked cabinet for them in different areas of the store. I went to self-check out. This store didn't have ApplePay or tap . I had to get my card out and insert in chip machine.

Shame on you, @walmart, in torrance. For giving my 6 year old this disappointing face. He gets so excited to hand them the receipt just to get a happy face. Mind you we do not have to show anything at exiting. He replied with "dad I dont have that face, but now I do." The African American lady was not having a good day, so let's take it on 6 year old. Trust me I will walk out with NEVER showing my receipt ever again.

My goal was to go check out Erewhon and all the smoothies and artisanal popcorn that celebrities and food influencers rave about online, but the Torrance H-Mart was an interesting destination in itself. I had to really restrain myself from buying everything that I wanted. I ultimately bought: 1. The Hojicha Tea Black Chocolate from Japan (the brand is Meiji) 2. The Green KitKats (Extra Matcha Tea Chocolate from Japan). 3. The Hanyul Hand Cream (I bought three - Chrysanthemum, Artemisia, and Ja Cho). They smell amazing and keep my hands moisturized. Southern California is so dry compared to Northern California. Ja Cho is Lithospermum Erythrorhizon root extract. 4. The Innisfree Green Tea face mask. 5. The Esfolio Volcanic Ash face mask. It's perfect for dry skin, and creates a healty glow. I asked the lady working there if the Volcanic Ash was from Jeju Island. She had no idea. I bought it anyway because it sounded interesting. 6. The Innisfree Volcanic Clay Mask. I know for a fact that this clay is sourced from Jeju Island, and I've been buying this product for years. Cleans up the sporadic acne flare up fast! It's perfect for combination skin without drying skin too much. They have vegan jerky, Sriracha mayo, and Kimchee Ketchup. I can buy that at any H-Mart, I think, so I didn't buy any of that. I wanted to explore so much more, but so much to do and so little time.

No matter the name, this is my go-to spot for Japanese groceries and prepared food. The parking situation is actually pretty easy and flexible since it wraps around the entire building, so you can usually find a spot without too much hassle. Inside, the selection is great. You'll find a wide range of authentic Japanese ingredients, snacks, and ready-to-eat meals that actually taste like what you'd get in Japan. One underrated highlight is the sushi restaurant upstairs. It's legit and a great option if you want a sit-down meal after shopping. Overall, this place has been a staple for me, and it's one of those spots worth supporting.
