We went to this Trader Joe's and loved everything except the parking nightmare. The lot gets full and you will wait and wait for a spot and some of the drivers are quite rude. The service at this one is just great. They know where everything is and will help you. The lines can get long, but it moves fast. The entire staff is nice. Their selection of products is great. I don't care for their cheap wine, but every thing else is great. I love their frozen section and they have a good vegan section as well. Their produce is good. Their prices are fair. My daughter saw some lovely flowers, so fresh, and bought me some. I love them. They smell great. If you can get there early in the morning the parking is not so bad and after dark it is okay. I have a love/hate relationship with Trader Joes. If you get there before 10 am it is great. After that you can be trapped in the parking lot by an endless stream of cars. You can't back out of your spot. The drivers in the parking lot can be aggressive, but not where near Costco levels. I really wish they would move to an option to not get a printed receipt. It is just a cost for them to buy the paper. I am sure that is passed to us. The receipt just ends up in the trash. We are paying for trash. I mention the idea to the workers every time I check out and they always remark that they wish it was possible too. It is possible. They just need to do it. read more

Just realized how popular Trader Joe's is with people around the South Bay. Today 3/17/26 Trader Joe's had a sale on some pastel color mini shopping bags and I was told we needed to get there early before their supplies sold out. Trader Joe's normally opens at 8am but we got there at 6:55am and there was already a long line for the limited edition pastel bags. Unbelievably I laughed once I saw the line and was told by my wife "see i told you!" The staff was nice while setting up the cues, joked around and handed out tickets, we were 79 and 80 respectively. The bags were $2.99 a piece, I think and we got 4 each, one of each color. read more

The grocers were very professional and friendly because the atmosphere was reminiscent of an older country store. The selection of foods was organized by the type of food that they offer such as fresh produce and different grocery items. The only things that should be changed are the parking issue and there weren't any signages above the store that can help customers who are non english speakers identify which aisle has which type of groceries available. The foods from the frozen meal section weren't too spicy nor too sweet. read more

Review #853 2025-025 I remembered my first Trader Joe's visit in S. Pasadena near the tennis pro shop that I worked at. I loved their inexpensive 3-cheese pita sandwich for lunch & dinner. Since moving to the South Bay, Trader Joe's is my go-to for grocery needs. But I sometimes dread going to TJ's & tasting the daily sample, falling in love with some, only to have it pulled from the shelves later, & I'm left heart-broken because I can't find it elsewhere. My current loves: Kerrygold Irish Cheddar with Chili Peppers (great for burgers & hot dogs, extra kick in mac & cheese, or potato skin topping), Soft Juicy Mandarins (this dried fruit snack is so addicting; I call it fruit crack!!), Ghost Pepper Potato Chips (it's not that spicy in comparison to an actual ghost pepper), Chicken Chili Verde Burrito, Blood Orange Mochi (love blood orange desserts!), Organic Toasted Sesame Dressing (love the savoriness), Kringle (my fav flavor is Pumpkin Caramel). I didn't realize there was another Torrance location (refer to Review #25) that's slightly closer, but I feel that Pacific Coast Hwy. market's selection is smaller than this one? Like all the TJ's I've visited, the entrance is stocked outside with fresh flowers & plants with seasonal fruits, & rows of cut flowers, orchids, etc. upon entry to the market. And the staff are friendly, welcoming, & helpful! My husband gave me a mini roses pot (because I prefer potted flowers than a beautiful arrangement of cut flowers from the florist) 15+ years ago from San Jose, & it's no longer mini but a thriving large rose bush. I usually try their daily sample at every visit because it gives me meal ideas for my family. Most recently their roasted pepper soup with basil pesto sauce (my l'il one loves it, even with the strong roasted peppers & basil flavors... who woulda thunk it?). My l'il one couldn't remember Trader Joe's name when she was a toddler (now 15 YO), & asked if we can go to the "sticker store" because they offer stickers to the kids (I'm sure they rather be known as a market LOL). This location is preferred when I have other shopping errands in the Torrance Promenade or dining. read more

I really enjoy Trader Joe's because they have so many gluten free options. I really enjoy their gluten-free chocolate muffin. When you bite into that muffin, it feels like you are eating a chocolate cupcake! I also love the yogurt options! The staff is also welcoming and you feel like they are your friends. I just left this location and was in the store no more than 15-20 minutes tops, yet the entire time I was in the store "Vera" and I believe the name tag said "Rayelle" stood at the back of the produce area gossiping while EVERY other employee did stuff, was working on things and keeping busy. I heard Vera even say "she wanted to fight me". When she said that I looked at name tags and they both saw me looking but kept talking. I was surprised this type of non working demeanor is allowed in a store such as this. read more

Friendliness at this location has really gone down, which is disappointing--especially since everyone always speaks so highly of the employees at Trader Joe's. I've noticed a decline at this particular store, especially during tote drop dates. I understand it can be frustrating for staff when customers are asking about times and availability, but that's exactly why it would help to bring back the signage like they used to have. Without it, customers are left calling or showing up in person to ask, which seems to create more frustration on both sides. Unfortunately, I've also experienced some attitude from team members when asking these questions. Clear communication--like posting signs and answering phone inquiries--would go a long way in making the experience smoother for everyone. read more

WARNING: THEIR COLD BREW IS HARD TO OPEN! I bought their cold brew and i could not open it. Even my roommates. I decided to keep my receipt to return it the next time I came in to do more grocery shopping. Fast forward a week later, I checked to make sure i had the right receipt. Upon reading it, I noticed I was double charged on the dark chocolate peanut butter cups. My dad was right on always double checking receipts . Lesson learned. I brought in the cold brew to refunded, and the refund on that double charge. This is a smaller Trader Joe's compared to others ive been to, and is highly trafficked for the times ive been in. Good location. Parking can get a bit cramped during certain times of the day bit it's not impossible. This store is always organized and the aisles are clean. Staff is friendly. I once had the unfortunate incident of discovering a foreign object in a burrito I purchased here. Not only did the staff show compassion, apologize, and prpovide a refund for the burrito, they also gave me the contact info of the 3rd party manufacturer that they outsource the burritos from and encouraged me to inform them of the incident as well. That resulted in an apology letter and a TJ's gift card. read more

Trader Joes is a bit far from where I live but I come here anyway. The selection of fresh fruit and veggies are much better than the major supermarket chains. This is the main reason I come here. But I like that it is clean, well-stocked and has a lot of unique food items that other stores do not carry: like pastries and asian desserts. I also get all my flowers here. The lady that was outside yelling for that tote bag no tickets no bag was really mean to us just because we went on the line twice doesn't mean she can embarrass us all the time she will see us, first of all I see alot of customer going in the line twice for that mini tote bag and she let them go without saying anything I ended up not getting anything and when I tried going back the next day she started making comments that we cant be going twice and she's yelling that is harassment if you wanna be strict be strict to everyone we did not steal it we bought it with our money and we went on the line. If you gonna be strict be strict to everyone then and do it the very first day no exception . This is an updated review on my favorite place in the world to do my groceries: Trader Joe's. This location is packed with well stocked items and lots of people trying to get their items. The customer service is lovely as always. And I usually find everything I need unless it went viral on tiktok and then I'm left praying if they come back in stock. My current favorite things are: - Organic Mediterranean Salad - The healthiest thing and it doesn't have kale, arugula or spinach (guess whose allergic to all 3?) - Organic Cesar Salad - organic and vegetarian friendly as the dressing doesn't have anchovies - Apple Blossom's - the best pastries in my opinion - Ube mochi ice cream - I just ate one. I loved it, its not too sweet and very flavorful - Ube mochi pancake mix - they are offered in the spring and they tend to sell out quickly, this year I bought 3 boxes - the pancake mix is more on the sweeter side but I put it into the waffle maker and it makes the best waffles - Pad See Ew (frozen food section) - this is the best thing and the closest thing to pad see Ew because it doesn't have shrimp or shellfish - I forgot the name but its Mac and cheese - these are the best things. My mom made them as a side dish a community event and she ran out instantly. it was a hit Overall, I recommend going here because it's near Marshalls, Ross, Burlington, In-n-out and Jersey Mike's. read more

I always look forward to my regular Trader Joe's grocery store runs. They have a great selection of everything - fresh produce, snacks, dog/cat treats, frozen food and even plants! The plants are adorable and make for great gifts for people as well. From the frozen section: Some of my favorites are the cauliflower gnocchi, orange chicken, and the butter chicken. They're so tasty. For snacks: I've lately been obsessed with their bruschetta with the ciabatta baguette bread. I toast a slice of the bread and put the bruschetta on top and it's perfection. The chili & lime rolled corn tortilla chips are so good and even better than Takis! This location specifically seems to have better selection than other Trader Joe's locations and I always seem to find what I was looking for. The workers are always so friendly and helpful! I am not sure if the rating is needed for Trader Joe's but it is a compact supermarket full of wonders! Love their original frozen food and snacks. Best place to try something exotic or healthy that you've never tried before. The staff is friendly just like any other Trader Joe's and they do run out of seasonal stuff really quickly.... Heard UBe pancake mix was seasonal and won't come back for a while if any. Stuff like that you can just chat with them at the cashier and they are sometimes more informative than what you can find on Instagram. Just got back from TJ. The "kids" who are cashiers here are so rude. Waited in line while she flirted with two other kids who were employees and couldn't figure out how to pay for their items. I asked her if she need to call someone and she said " you have several people in front of you" I told the Manger what happened however, he had a difficult time understanding the words your employee is flirting and visiting with other employees in line to pay making me wait. The good: I love their frozen food section and how many international foods you can find. French, Thai, Greek, Indian, Chinese, Italian, etc. - they're very inclusive! Their portion sizes are small which can be a good or bad thing. It's great for trying products and not committing to it and it's great for me when I get items for my picky toddler to try. I got some fresh potted herbs here too that I plan to plant in my yard. Their frozen mini croissants are delicious and convenient for when I have guests over. The prices are very fair. I love that they come out with new products all the time to keep things interesting. The bad: Their product section doesn't have the best selection. The interesting: I thought cashiers were required to mention a product they liked or didn't like at check-out but mine didn't. Maybe that isn't a thing? read more
