For many years, this spot was once upon a time a 99 Cents Store. A few years ago, it eventually turned into a Dollar Tree. What separates this from some other Dollar Trees is the fact that it's HUGE, to where they have a bunch of random stuff spread out. Their frozen/refrigerated things are at the back left side instead of the front right side where 99 Cents Store used to have produce and cold stuff. Parking isn't bad because there's a ton of spots that is shared amongst a Popeye's and a Mc Donald's & Taco Bell. This building is a shell of what it used to be with the spirit of 99 Cents store, but it has somewhat of the same deals and then some. I really have nothing bad to say about this place. Their customer service is cool.... but what kind of messes things up really are when they have some (not all) idiot customers who take too much advantage of this place by stealing from it and also, ruining the restroom privileges for other customers by messing it up and/or stealing everything from stuff, to even the damn restroom key!! It's to the point where the cashiers have to hold onto their keys and there's a sign that says if you want to use the restrooms, you now have to ask them for it and honestly, I don't blame them for that decision. Used to be my second local dollar tree and haven't been back since they moved across the street and I have to say i'm seriously disappointed. i don't know if they changed all the staff completely but some that I've seen were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Okay so they moved this Dollar Tree next door to where the 99 cent store used to be at. Lord it's so bad! There was a long line and only one cashier. When clearly they had multiple people there. Can't even get proper signs and they use cardboard?! Like how ghetto can you be. And then the cashier that was "closed" was so rude to everyone like put a sign that you're closed you allowed everyone to put their stuff there for you to then say you're closed. Come on do better. Mystery solved. I saw that the Dollar tree has moved across the street where the 99 cent store used to be. So apparently they will transfer their items from one store to the other? There still wasn't any sign to notify the store is relocating. Odd. It just would have taken a piece of paper and a marker to help us customers be informed. Oh well. read more

I was racially profiled in this store so I have to write this bad review. I went to food for less to pick up some eggs and tea. I decided to stop at the Dollar Tree to buy a pitcher for iced tea. I walked in (transparent food for less bag) found the pitcher and went to pay. The female cashier refused to finish ringing me up and said what about the tea 3 times and I'm like what are you talking about. She says to me you didn't have tea when you walked in, only eggs. I'm like do you even sell Kroger or any tea here? The answer is no. They don't sell tea so to accuse me of stealing a product that you don't sell in a store where most things are $1.25 is incredibly rude and insulting. People like her should not be working and dealing with the public. read more

This is thee WORSE Dollar Tree I have ever visited! Instantly upon entry, the store smells HORRIBLE! The shelves are empty, the candy boxes are the check out counter are empty-it just looks unkept and neglected. I literally became sick from the smell!! I went to the store for a return and the sales clerk was pleasant, she spoke and smiled. She asked if I had a return and I nodded my head. I didn't want to speak because I was trying to limit my breathing to prevent smelling that awful smell. She told me that she had to "get my manager" and turned around to tell the other worker that she had a return. The "manager" did not greet me, did not smile, made no pleasantries at all. She just walked to the register and said, "do you have your receipt". Now. I understand that customer service is not the easiest job BUT: I did not ask her to work there. I did not ask her to be the manager. I only asked to return my items. A horrible attitude changes the entire experience and hers made me want to take my items and go to another store. Everything she needed for the return, I had, and I think that made her mad because she acted like she didn't want to do the return and was hopeful she could tell me that she couldn't help me. After the return was complete, she instructed me to put my card in the machine, which I did. A message came up on the screen requesting that I put in my pin. I found it weird so I asked her if that was correct and she responded, "I don't know. Just do what it says on the screen". At this point, I was beyond annoyed and just wanted to leave this stinky, horrible looking store. She processed the return and handed me my receipt- with no communication at all (no thank you, no confirmation of my return, no information on how long it will take to return to my card-NOTHING). I left that store in a hurry because I was sick to my stomach from the smell and service. I later wondered if the smell in the store matched the manager's horrible, SMELLY attitude. Dollar Tree-invest in customer service compliance training because everyone isn't cut out to work in customer service nor carry the title of "manager". Worst experience ever and I would give this store and experience a negative 10 if I could. Bad store smell. Low stock. Dirty on the outside and inside. Bad customer service. read more

Compared to other Dollar Tree stores, this location is pretty organized. However, for the past few months, the store has had an absolutely FOUL smell. It hits you right as you walk in the door, and can be smelled through most of the store. I had brought this up to a cashier once, and they must've been used to it, because they said they hadn't noticed any smell. Pretty decent, as far as dollar stores go. Definitely has a big space and a lot of selection. About half of the employees here are engaging, about half of them are a bit standoffish/rude. Big parking lot, easy in and out. Don't know that I'd make a special trip back here but if I were around, I'd pop back in and check things out again. read more

Ok, I read a lot of bad reviews for this Dollar Tree so I thought I would give them some positive feedback from my perspective. They are having a pipe leak right now so the store is in a bit of disarray from that BUT there are positives about this location. #1 It's big! Lots of room for lots of merchandise! Because of this I think you can find more things. #2 Large cosmetic section. I have found many things here that are not available in other places. The Flowers brand of cosmetics from Drew Barrymore come up there occasionally and are worth the visit alone if you get lucky. You can also find name brand hair accessories that I have not seen in other places. #3 They are friendly there! I think I always have a smile there so they respond back to me in that way. It must be a hard job to work there, constantly filling shelves and dealing with the crazies and the grouchy people. They deserve some credit! read more

I didn't think it'd be big 'cause I was under the misconception that bargain stores can't have too many things to sell, if it's only a buck. That leads me to what I noticed next: the variety! They essentially sell everything, except meat and produce. It's all there: dinnerware, bed and bath, home decor, snacks, auto supplies, pet supplies, office supplies, personal and hygiene, and tons more. Yeah, there are probably things to avoid at this store, like soda and knives. But, for instance, cleaning products, party decorations, and candies (Snickers, m&ms, and other name brand items), are a steal. Other notable observations: *It's well organized. If one of the staff isn't at the register to help keep the line moving, he/she is on the floor organizing. *The aisles are wide. It makes me feel like I'm truly shopping and not just passing through a closet. *The staff is friendly and helpful. This is one of the cleanest Dollar Tree stores I've been to! It's also huge! Everything is neatly arranged on the shelves, there's a flow to the entire store, it has a neutral smell, and the cashiers are friendly :) They also sell a variety of balloons and what's great is that it's only $1! I come here to shop for candy, party decorations, and themed decorations. Everything is a bargain! Make note: if you are planning to buy lots of items, make sure to bring your own bag. Dollar Tree is fantastic for teachers like me. I get my treats and prizes here and for a dollar I can actually afford them. There is so many great items here you really need a while to walk around and find things you need and things you don't need but want. I love their holiday items. Go early for holiday stuff because they sell out fast. I found some great butterfly wall stickers that sell for like 15 bucks online. P.S. A plus about this store is that the 99cents store and Big Lots are right across the street in case you get the urge to shop, shop, shop, and shop some more. read more

I love dollar tree ! just like at the 99 cent store, you will find an assortment of things at dollar tree for just a fraction of what you would pay at target, walmart, etc... this place is much less crowded than the 99 cent store and is also much cleaner. It's actually kind of peaceful compared to many other places. the best stuff I find here is in the school supply section and the cleaning section. I buy my posters here for class assignments (2 for $1!) and a lot of things for my dorm. yesterday I bought a pretty decent broom for a dollar as well. just remember to bring your own bags. They charge 10 cents per bag which is just a friendly reminder to help out the environment :) I will absolutely be back to shop here often read more

Great for my teacher needs! I love getting holiday themed decorations for my class here. Just go early (a bout a month before the holiday) or stuff will be sold out. I got a lot of ornaments for my Christmas tree from here. I also like the cards which are two for a dollar, I like to grab a few for birthdays, one for a wedding, and another for a baby shower in case something comes up, I'll have a card ready ;) I like to think I'm either really thoughtful, or really lazy! read more

Good things: typical Dollar or 99 cent store with all the great stuff for a dollar. Glad they also take credit cards also. Staff is pretty nice and ample parking. Not so good things: they charge for bags (10 cents each bag), so bring your own, sometimes they don't have things they had last month (they run out of stuff frequently I guess). I will come to this place for small items like cleaning supplies, paper towels. It has been fully stocked every time I go in. I like Dollar Tree much better than the 99 cents only store and Big Lots. This is absolutely a great place to buy everything you need for each holiday, for a great price. The key advice to give is, when the seasonal gifts come out, take advantage and purchase earlier because there is so many choices. Guaranteed, most of it disappears when the holiday comes up. For instance, there were several shelves of decorations and gifts to give for Valentine's Day and when the day came, everyone was scrounging up what they can get.
