I have been coming to this store since my daughter began Girl Scouts when she was five years old. I have watched as they have increased their prices but have always been a loyal customer even when they raised their prices to sew on one patch for $1.75 and half the time the stitching is crooked. My daughter is now nine and this is here fifth year in the scouts. The store charges 10 dollars to embroider. When I picked up the vest today I was disappointed in the quality of the Embroidery; I used the same font last year and it looked much better. I asked for them to remove the un even thread and they gave it back to me with thread still in it. I told the woman it still does not look good. She told me she did not do the embroidery so she called over an older man who has absolutely no customer service skills. He took the vest, pretended to take out more thread and handed me back the same thing. I told him this does not look good can you re embroider it or refund my money. He told me no. I said but you charge ten dollars and this is how you give the vest to me. He responded that is how the computer does it. I had my daughter with me and at this point I was done with the discussion. I told him the embroidery looks like garbage. He said ok thank you. I said no thank you I will make sure to tell my troop not come back. He then was raising his voice at me as I was walking away. I was heading towards the door and he said you want your money back? I said yes I do and then he proceeded to tell me it isn't about money money isn't everything it is how you talk to people; trying to shame me in front of my child. The whole thing was about money for him that is why they would not fix it. I am horrified the way he spoke to me in front of my child. We left the store and my daughter told me how scared she was. Please find other places to take your vests. They are very angry there. read more

I have been a customer of this establishment for the last 6 years. And up until last week I have been pleased with the customer service. However last week I went to get patches sown on my daughters Girl Scout vest and different lady was there to help me. I've seen her before and she was very cordial. However, she told me that the nice older lady that usually sows the patches had retired. That should have been my warning. But I leave the vest anyway, and had someone else pick it up for me. So when I see it I immediately notice that one of the patches wasn't sown on completely and there were lots of pastiche thread hanging from a few patches. That should have been my second warning. But when I went back today to get it fixed an older gentleman was there. He was very dry, no customer service skills at all. He didn't apologize for the mistake, and was borderline rude, especially since I spent almost $100 there just to have the patches sown on. I don't feel that they value their costumers, nor their business, because at the very least there should have been an apology. I am looking for other places to go as I'm typing this review. Get better with your costumer service. I will say that there were two to get men there today who were very polite. read more

This is a great place for uniforms. It's wonderful to have all the Girl Scout uniforms and patches available locally. The employees were very helpful and attentive. They were also able to sew our badges on the uniform immediately. It took like five minutes total and it looks great! The stitches are nearly invisible. The employees are on your ass the entire time you're in the store! I get it that you want to protect your store and your products. But who wants to give their money to a business like that? At one point one of the employees grabbed an item out of my boyfriend's hands! An item we were about to purchase!!! We left after that. The products they sell can easily be found elsewhere. Always fast and friendly service. We went to get the next set of Girl Scout patches and new sashes for the next level and found everything we needed and were in and out within 15min which included the sewing troop numbers on the sashes. So convenient and located next to Guilliano's for a quick bite to eat. The workers all hand on masks and store was stocked with hand sanitizer for in-store use. Went to this store to buy my daughter a new girls scout vest and although no one greeted me as I came in just went along their business, the lady who actually puts on the patches on the vest greeted me warmly once I made it to the back of the store and was very helpful in finding a size and picking out the division numbers and patches. She put the patches on before I even finished paying at the front counter. I had a very good experience here and will make this my go to for uniforms and patches. Very good! read more

Great place with ample parking on the street. They have terrific selection of dickies, kids dickies, girls dickies, levis, carhartt, plain caps, socks, suspenders, bandanas. Would give this place five stars but.... They have a sign on the door that says 18 and under needs a parent. I'm 21 but I look 16, so the owner (I assume) followed me around the store. Very nice helpful guy, but I didn't need him to stand behind me while I chose a pair of pants. Overall, its a very nice, clean, well stocked store that's easily accessible and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who looks older than 18. read more

I had a great experience here with getting my daughters GS Vest updated. Lady was SUPER helpful in placing everything where it needed to be. Even though she was working on a large order for GS Vest for a troop, she took care of my on my lunch break so that I would not have to make another trip. I've read reviews of others that have felt that they were being flowed. I didn't have that experience at all. Would HIGHLY recommend this place for all scout supplies and sewing. read more

Went in looking for a pair of pants, was assisted by an attended. The size was not available in the style I needed, so I thanked her and told her I'd look around. I found a different double-kneed pair in the color I wanted. The sticker price was $29.99. The cashier (a different person) removed the pants from the plastic display bag upon purchase and scratched the price sticker off the size/paper label. I looked at my receipt and he had charged me $32.99 plus tax ($36 something). I questioned him and he said they were something like "Ben davies" (they were dickies), but I don't care because I should've been charged the price the sticker listed! The cashier refused to show me the plastic bag the pants were originally in even when I told him it was behind the register and instead he tried to distract me with pointing to something else. I told him I wasn't having any of it and I wanted my money back. He then refunded my money. This really disappoints me because I've been shopping at this place since the original owners ran it in the 70s... i'll never shop them again knowing what I know now, losing a customer over a $3 scam isn't good business. read more
