Not impressed. Their clothes are cute but a little expensive. The clothes at Forever 21 have the same cuteness and quality but with more options. What makes this place suck is the customer service. They follow you around, and when they finally offer you help the offer is so insincere that you would feel bad if you asked a question. This place has a one person at a time dressing room policy. Which is fine...if it was posted. My friend had tried on a dress and showed me. It looked nice I just went in there to try it on. As soon as I get it on one of the workers starts knocking like the police. She screams only "one person at a time!" She could have said: "excuse me but our policy is only one person at a time." No need for the po po knock, a slight tap would have been fine. I put that dress back and left. And off to Forever I went. read more

Let me start by saying this place is now Fashion Trend. Same as the one in Lakewood/Bellflower. Like Joanna, I hate to give away a good spot but I also need my favorite places to stay in business. I've been to the Lakewood location before years ago, but never purchased anything. Then I stumbled across this location and decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did. If you are in your late teens and twenties this store is definitely for you. It has tons of cute club dresses and outfits that are pretty easy on your wallet. Those in their 30's and 40's will like it too for cute dresses and tops. Lots of cute maxi dresses, etc. for the summer jazz festivals etc. It is also worth noting that a lot of the looks I've seen on Instagram are here and for less money. I wore a dress Sunday and my best friend was there getting one on Monday. Today I wore a different dress and received literally 10 compliments today, and I was in Old Pasadena with its numerous cute (and usually expensive) shops and boutiques. Now for the service, I have to say that I generally get pretty good service here but one young lady has given me the distinct impression she does NOT want to be there. And while that may be the case, you are and since they are paying you to be there, SMILE! Be courteous and gracious to those who are shopping because the money we spend is what provides you with a paycheck. (Duh!!!) That bad attitude is why I took away a star. I hate to give away my new fashion gem. It's bad enough that every time I go back to the store a week or two later every item on my wish list is already sold out. But, I think this place deserves a good review and I just can't keep quiet about it. I never gave this store a chance because I used to go in there years ago and was not impressed by the cheap swap meet style clothes. However, a friend of mine recently brought me here and I must say they definitely got a makeover. I walk in and immediately want almost everything I see. The prices are a bit high, but I found a few good steals in the jewelry and shoe section. I also found a fabulous jacket, even though it was a little expensive, I couldn't resist because it was so awesome and looked luxurious. The quality is way better than forever 21. On to the customer service section of my review. The first two times I went there, the customer service was outstanding. The girls were really nice and helpful which is rare in these trendy type of fashion spots. However, the last time I went there was a different girl working and she didn't even greet me once. BTW, I think this store is called Fashion Trend now. One more tip, they also have a nice little section for plus sizes, many items that dont even come in the smaller sizes. This place has a wide variety of fashionable clothing and at an affordable price. So yea, I love it. I just got the cutest evening gown from there and it doesnt even look cheap. I got a green lace halter from here as well and I love it. The staff is friendly and helpful and I would recommend this to everybody. read more

Fashion Avenue Fashion Avenue is a women's clothing store located inside South Bay Pavilion Mall in Carson. They carry regular sizes, S to L, and also bigger sizes, 1x to 3x. They also have jewelry, belts, and other types of accessories for women. This business has attracted many local customers due to their affordable prices, customer service, presentation, and great incentives. Fashion Avenue is going through new management, and because of that the store is going through many good changes. This store is a great place to visit and be in the latest trends at an affordable price. Customer service is the number one priority to Fashion Avenue. The employees make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Not one single person passes by a customer without a smile and a positive greeting. The employees know very well the inventory of the store and come very helpful when you need them. They do not make you feel uncomfortable in any way. Another great thing about the workers is that they are all racially different. There is no way that one customer will leave the store due to failure of communication. They are all dressed with proper attire and ready to greet the customers positively daily. Presentation makes people walk in the store without no doubt. To start off, the balloons quickly attracts ones eyes. The mannequins are dressed in a great sense of fashion with all the latest items in store. Instead of walking in to buy only one item, you walk out with the whole outfit. It is extremely difficult to walk out empty handed. The mannequins do give a big help in choosing an item because you can see it on someone else and it gives one the sense of how it will look on. The store itself is organized in a very particular way. It is separated by colors, and is divided in half. The S to L items are on the left and the 1x to 3x on the right. Starting from the front of the store to the back the colors are turquoise and orange in the first section, then the black and white with dressing pants, following with the purples, browns, reds, and ending with the casual clothing. The jeans are scattered with similar items except in the black and white section. This creativity of organizing the clothes provides an easier help to the customers. That way one will go straight to the color and item that is needed. The jewelry is all set up in the back of the store where the register area is located. It is extremely organized by style. The cheaper accessories are on stands on the floor, and the more expensive ones are behind glass. Expensive is not literal because they are very affordable. And of course the rest of the items are organized around. For example, the glasses, belts, accessory sale items, nylons, hats, suits, and basic undergarment. This store gives a great impression to people that are walking by and it welcomes with a systematic feel. This store has great incentives. Since there is new management, there are coupons being passed out in the mall by their employees that gives you fifteen percent off to your purchase. By doing so, they present themselves and get new customers to come into the store. During the holidays, Fashion Avenue also gives great offers and coupons. Last year during christmas, if you bought more than fifty dollars you received a fifteen percent discount on your next purchase. These kind of thoughts really help in making one return to the store. Not only are there great deals but also an online social network for the store; the famous Facebook. This page presents the customers all the items and accessories that are in the store, and that way Facebook friends can keep in contact with the latest trends in store. The incentives and presentation again are remarkable. Fashion Avenue in South Bay Pavilion has been opened for quite some time. But never has their clothes and management been so successful.
