Press-on nails for $2.25
Shauna S.

Much needed review for my local Daiso in Gardena! I stop by often so it's about time. Their press-on nails are surprisingly decent for the price, however a tad flimsy. Make sure to grab two sets since the sets currently in stock only contain one nail of per size. I always love their cute stationery, character branded stuff, and those tiny baggies that are perfect for gifts or little things. I've noticed OC Daisos have slightly more selection. Can't complain much though, this location is always organized and has friendly staff.

This is a family owned company with so many great items at a low price. You will find items for your garden, car, kitchen, makeup, storage and travel items. I was looking to the vacuum bags and they had them at an affordable price. There are employees walking around the store to help with any questions you have. The cashier is friendly and fast. The aisle with chopsticks has so many styles of chopsticks. You can find so many different items that are useful for your next trip.

Let me just start by saying Daiso is such a cool find in LA. The first time I ever went, I could not believe how inexpensive everything was! They carry all the cute characters like Sanrio, BT21, Toki Doki, and so many other cute characters. Most items you'll find range in prices from $1.75 up to $15.25. Most of the items I buy are $1.75, $2.25 and $3.25. Be careful though because even though everything seems really inexpensive, once you keep adding stuff in your shopping cart and by the time you get to the register, everything adds up pretty quickly. It's totally worth it though. I love going here and finding all the cool stuff. My favorite is Toki Doki. I have found some really amazing stuff here. My favorite is the magnetic bookmarks, stickers and stationary section, I'm a sucker for this stuff. Wish we had this on the East coast!

This place has gotten a little bit better as far as customer service and stock availability. When this store opened years ago, it had terrible service but I guess they have gotten rid of the bad apples. Hopefully they'll keep it that way. They have a lot of items and selections. Although, there were a few times I did not see what I was looking.

Searching for window decals that cover parts of the window. I was searching for several odds and ins. Found half of what I was searching for. I'm so thankful that the workers are very helpful. The value for the items are very reasonable. Have you ever wondered how do they manage to keep this store picked up and fully stocked.

This location is super clean and huge! They also offer Threppy store items (I'm guessing sister store of Daiso). I've known Daiso in US since the price was $1.50, but now it's $2.25. These price charts are available pretty much every aisle, so it's easy to reference whenever you need it. One cashier's service wasn't friendly (poker face, no greetings, no eye contacts, etc). Keeping it 5 stars because not every cashiers are like that.

I walked into Daiso today and saw that it had been remodeled. It was very spacious and neatly organized. Unfortunately, the little boxes that used to be on the left as you enter the store were nowhere to be found. They were sturdy and came in varying sizes and prints. Not finding the boxes, I went up and down the aisles looking for something to buy. There were posted signs everywhere noting that everything was $1.50, unless otherwise noted. There were a few food items like ramen and curry which were priced above $1.50 and could be found elsewhere for less. No real bargains in my opinion. Didn't see anything that I needed or wanted, so left empty handed.

This one is huge! I know there are a few larger ones nearby but I love this one. It's interesting to me how each location has different stuff, which this is no exception. I mostly come here to pick through the electronics aisle and that's what I did! I found what I was loosely searching for too, which was an SD card case, I found a clear watch band I liked. Finally I got a bag of white truffle Calbee chips. Omg! They're soooo good. They seem to be made in CA (if you're concerned about import items only) but they're good yep. I want more. But yeah check this Daiso out if you haven't before. The size of the store is worth the trip.

This Daiso location is the first Daiso I visited in the US. We did not have Daiso in Hawaii rolling a few years back. In any case, this location is pretty large. I enjoy it because 1. lots of parking 2. inventory readily available a. shelves never empty b. wide selection (more than I've seen in other Daiso's) 3. Organized check out a. roped off in direction of cashiers b. lots of snacks and eating items located along the way to cashier 4. conversion price list posted on the start and end of EACH row 5. ECO bags from other Daiso locations are always on sale ($.75-$1) 6. hours of operation steady; they open at 10 am and close at 7 pm The other great part (often overlooked) is this Daiso is located right next door to 85Degree Bakery and 99 Ranch Market a couple doors away to the east. Oh, and Krispy Kreme is across the street from Daiso. Located on Artesia Blvd., between Vermont and Normandie Boulevards

Happy kid.

We love Daiso! It's a Japanese version of the 99 Cents store but better! Prices range from $1.00 - $20.00 (I think) truthfully I never seen anything over $15.00... watch your shopping cart though, because it's easy to overspend! I feel like a millionaire at Daiso walking out with multiple bags of more stuff I probably don't need, lol! Top 5 products to buy at Daiso? - Kitchen supplies/ dishes/bowls - USB cable cords/ phone accessories - Socks ( cute, funky, unique) - Japanese traditional printed cloth ( beautiful!) - Stationaries ( pens, pencils, unique erasers, weird stuff) Seriously you can't go wrong here! This particular location in Gardena is well stocked/clean/organized. Employees are friendly. Parking is a little busy as it's shared with multiple business within the plaza.

Definitely pay attention to the price points, things can be a bit confusing. They do have signs with the price configurations but it's still confusing. I went for items for wine tasting. They have nice glasses & flutes, both glass and plastic. The glass ones had this iridescent shine, & the plastic ones were heavy duty definitely can see them lasting if they get dropped. I settled for the plastic. They had so much other stuff, I got some cards and envelopes. They had nice boards from charcuterie possibly. I decided to get a coffee too (terrible decision the coffee was horrible). Definitely will be back for party favors!

Prices seem cheap but they're pretty pricey for what you're getting. It's still a fun store.

I showed my son, still parked, and he noticed a dried playdoh in the toy's mouth, multiple indents on the toy's head, ties holding the dinosaur were loose and the box was previously opened but taped shut. What turned out to be a quick pick up was me and my son having to go inside - grab the correct toy from the toy section (mind you, there were new dinosaurs of the same item perfectly stocked on the shelf) then head over to the returns and exchange line which was long due to some Pokémon card release. And on top of that which should have been a clean swap, the cashier expected me to pay the difference. I said no and asked to speak to the manager. The manager questioned me on my drive up - pick up time and after me explaining that I JUST picked this up at drive up she couldn't believe it herself. I showed her the drive up sticker on the box that had my last name and pick up time, literally 10 mins apart. She stated that no scans were necessary and an even swap was all that was needed. This was all such an inconvenience. Visibly damaged items that have been returned should never be given to another paying customer. Cause now I'm not even going to spend my hard earned money at Target, unless I am gifted a gift card. 1st time this happened last year, I bought a revlon blow out tool - someone's brown/blonde hair was still wrapped around it. Disgusting and unacceptable, Target.

He was super sweet and gave me his input as to the best quality items on the floor, price and color checking. I kindly asked him for his opinion which helped guide my shopping experience! It's very rare that you see workers sincerely caring about the customers In any retail store or business, I felt cared for, valued and respected, as he didn't push me to purchase anything too expensive and gave me good insight. I ended up purchasing a dash cam, we both concluded that as much as gaming equipment may be a good gift, keeping my boyfriend safe with backed up footage in case of an accident is much more important then in the moment fun, we're talking about proof, if he or someone else crashes. Im sure my boyfriend will value this gift If anyone stumbles upon Luis, i beg that you are respectful, sweet, and kind, some workers are greatly undervalued and treated unfairly when they too are people with great intentions. The good: This Walmart is massive! In their garden center,…read morethey had giant outdoor 11 x 8' rugs for $20 on clearance! I got my Christmas tree here for an affordable price as well as food items that I haven't seen elsewhere (like princess string cheese). They had super cute kids bikes here that had seats for kids to put and buckle their dolls. Their holiday section is great! Their hours are great (6AM-11PM). My mom got lots of kids' clothes from here for great prices. I like this place better than the other Walmart in Torrance since it is bigger (rather than having a separate Walmart Neighborhood market). The bad: Their garden center mostly had bikes and Christmas stuff rather than plants. The interesting: They have an auto-care center as well.

Bad review is for Walmart tire center and the Auto center in general:…read more First bad experience involved a Latino cashier (Walmart Associate in the Auto Center department) with a name tag that read "SHAUN." His race/ethnicity is revealed for identity purposes. When I arrived in Auto Center, no one was behind checkout station. Funny part is I pressed the button on the credit/debit card machine that said "press here for assistance." Yet it took 2 presses and about 12 minutes for someone to come out, despite the tons of Walmart employees roaming that whole Auto Center checkout section. Not just order pickers. Folks who worked in Auto Center. I was saying to myself: "If I were a criminal and I walked out Auto Center exit with a cheap candy bar, I guarantee that I would've been tackled immediately by no less than ten Walmart employees in that section. Yet no one could see me waiting on associate?" I came in to purchase a battery that was clearly priced on the website for $139. I even scanned the barcode. It showed the same price. Yet it had a different price of $144 for in store. Ive had this issue at other Walmarts. They honored online price after taking my word or checking their Walmart app. Also, if you check Walmart price match policies, it clearly says: "For items purchased in a Walmart U.S. store, we will match the price of the identical item advertised on Walmart.com." It also says: "The customer must inform the Walmart associate of the price at the time of checkout. The identical item (i.e., size, model, quantity, brand, or color, etc.) must be currently in-stock and available to purchase on Walmart.com at the time the Price Match is requested. I adhered to those policies. However, this "SHAUN" guy gave me a hard time and said "We don't do that. You have to order it online." Which is the most ignorant crap he could've said. I didn't argue with him. I just bought the battery for his price. I couldn't wait to leave this negative review. This guy lied, just to prevent me from paying merely $5 less . Also, my core was right next to the new battery. The "SHAUN" guy asked me if I wanted to leave the core here. I said to my self, "this guy thinks that I just carried this 46 lb battery in this store just to take it back?" At any rate, a lightning bulb in his brain lit up and I got my $15 core charge deducted from total. Paid for battery and left. The "SHAUN" guy never said thanks or anything else that normal Walmart associates would say after completing a successful transaction. That was Today. That sealed the deal for a 1 star review. I swear. Previously, I ordered 4 tires for my moms on Walmart's website. Had them shipped to this Walmart tire center. When I placed order, I also scheduled their installation service. Tires were prepaid. Install service was to be paid upon receipt. Appointment was scheduled. 2 hours before appointment, this Walmart tire location canceled installation and changed order to pick up. Reason listed is they didn't have tires available. Order status changed to "delayed." A day later, a Walmart website email confirmed pick up availability. I called Walmart tire center. They rarely answer the phone. So I had to call them on 5 different occasions on the same day to get someone to answer. A person answer and scheduled an appointment for next week. Which was 3 days before tire order would've been canceled due to non pick up. I agreed. Went to scheduled appointment. They claimed they can only find 3 tires. After waiting 30-35 minutes passed appointment time, they came out and told me that the 4th tire is still in transit. They told me to come back in a few days, which would've been passed the order pick up date. I explained that info to their representative. They told me to come back a day before pick up date. But couldn't confirm that the 4th tire would be in stock. They didn't even have the ability to track the 4th tire. That same day, I left and got some brand new tires from a small tire shop down the street. Like most say, if you order tires from Walmart's website, have them shipped to your house or a friend's. Then take them to a tire shop and have them mounted/balanced/installed. My Walmart website order was canceled as I never went back to pick up tires.
