You can always find great and durable items here. This beats dollar tree items any day of the week.

This location is on the larger side, and when I see new products people share on social media and can't find it at my smaller local Daiso, this location is sure to have it. I've only been a handful of times and find the parking lot is on the busier side, but the store is well kept. And because of its large size easy to maintain distance during Covid. read more

I can spend an entire day at Daiso. Walking into this store is mind blowing. So many cutsie things! Aisles and aisles of it. Everything is so bright and colorful. Best part, most everything in here is $1.50. Store is neat, clean, and organized. I love the little shopping carts. You take shopping baskets and put together your own cart. Employees are quick and very friendly. All sales are final. They have a bunch of cool stuff here. Snacks, kitchen supplies, office supplies, sushi making stuff, containers, art supplies, party supplies, wrapping paper, dress shirts, ties, cups, bowls, bags, shower stuff, etc. I love this store so much. I wish I had a bigger suitcase so I could bring back more stuff... read more

Located off Artesia Bl in Gardena in the shopping plaza shared parking with all the other businesses. I've been here a couple of times but I never checked in or wrote a review before shame on me. Before covid during the weekends this plaza was jammed packed took a long time to get parking cause cars kept coming in so it was all luck. Now during covid the parking is not as bad at all because not all businesses are opened or not opened at the same times. This was the second Daiso in the South Bay but I believe the first biggest one and still maybe the biggest among the ones I've been in. There are plenty of aisles to cover and there still is a lot of space. Check out is in one area with one line. It seemed pretty organized. They do keep the limit of shoppers so as one comes out one goes in. Not sure if this only on the weekends since I haven't been during the week. I came for one of those cool towels but they were out. Overall I like Daiso they have all kinds of things some that are very useful and well made for a cheap priced store. I'll be back again. read more

I love all the cute items and it's really affordable! The workers there are always welcoming as well and I go to Daiso almost every week.

staff is friendly, store is clean, price is reasonable, variety of selections to choose from.

one of the biggest daiso locations ive ever been to. prices are like any other place and parking is a tad bit difficult/packed but youll eventually land one. a good amt of ppl come here so wait time in the line may take some time. found what i was looking for here and more. the place is just really well spaced, organized and they have a pretty good and big selection. i only wish this location was closer to my house aha read more

I freaking love this store for so many reasons!! 1. When you walk in, it's pink!! Who doesn't love to walk into a pink store? 2. It's super cheap. It's like an Asian version of a dollar store, but so much better. The majority of stuff is $1.50. If it's not, it'll be marked so you're not surprised when you get to the register. 3. They have everything you need and more. From beauty accessories, to office supplies, to kitchen gadgets, to snacks, they have it all. Of course not everything is useful, but what is shopping without getting random junk. I've bought a few things from here before like a matching pink dustpan and broom, eyelash curler pads, chopsticks, a seam ripper and tons of Asian candy. It just sucks that I live a state away and only come here when I'm visiting family. Nevertheless, this will be a regular stop when I'm in Cali for new and exciting finds!! read more

I could spend all day here! Daiso, aka the 100¥ store in Japan is now here in So Cal (Gardena, Torrance, & Irvine). I've been to both South Bay locations and personally like the Gardena one better. For $1.50/item (unless otherwise marked) you can find everything from household items to office & art supplies, random clothing, snacks, and Japanese themed decorations. For example, I've bought disposable tea bags (100 ct), plastic pastry bags (12/pkg), a cute cloth eyeglass case that I use to hold my iPhone, plastic cable ties, travel packets of kleenex & wipes, random plastic boxes, a mini pill case, and a cute travel sized Japanese fan. I always walk in saying, "oh, I'll get only what I need" but inevitably walk out with a bag full of unnecessary but interesting "stuff!" Being a "plastic container junkie & neat freak" this place is heaven. That said...my husband HATES taking me here because I always shop for at least 2+ hours and he would much rather be at home watching sports. Daiso has lots of parking and is a pretty big store. All sales are final so make sure you inspect your items before you check out. read more

The Service: Two staffs on duty. Efficient service at the cashier. The store is under construction but still open for business. The Product: Mostly $1.5. Better quality than 99 Cents for sure. It seems less merchandise than other Daiso stores I have been too? The Parking: Plaza parking, always lots of parking spots. read more

Horrible customer service! I have placed an online order because I did not have a Daiso store where I lived at the time. This location seems to be where online order ships out from. I addressed an issue with my order recently. There was error on their end where an item was not shipped. I received an immediate response so I was relieved that they were going to fix the issue addressed. After the initial response and providing proof of purchase, they completely ignored my emails. My orders are not just few items. I normally place big orders every few months. I won't be placing online orders with them anymore. read more

Very disappointed I visit this store today and it was brand new. I haven't been here in months and months but they changed the whole layout and lighting. They changed the lights. Idk why? It is super Dark in here. Even with my reading glasses on it's hard to maneuver too dark in here! And it was day time! Everything looks so small. The aisles are larger but it seems like they have taken away a lot of items! They rearrange the aisle so I have to like look for the stuff. Not where they were before. I like the layout before because it was larger and brightly lit. I don't think they made a good use of their space. Also, the items are either increasing in price, has minimize in size or has been eliminated completely ): Which is so sad because the stuff I bought before. I come back and there was not much here. I couldn't find what I was looking for. And they should not decrease their products! I like the old Daiso! It was more brightly lit and was more easier to shop as the items were more plentiful. read more

This is the Asian $0.99 Only Store, and most items are $1.50 (or 140 yen)... The quality and cleanliness is above the American $0.99 Only Stores, Dollar Tree, Big Lots and the like. It's organized and they'll remind you "Do Not Open the Packages" - - they're doing their best to keep this not ghetto, which is nice. The perceived quality and actual quality along with the unique variety makes this for a good knick knack store with novelties, quick essentials and cute affordable gift items. They have food/snacks, office supplies, storage containers, air fresheners, and a lot of stuff you need daily and other things you never thought you'd need, but end up buying (like a single Char Siu Bao microwave steamer). This location on Artesia is next to the 99 Ranch Asian Supermarket (and a McDonald's), so parking is available, not always super easy, but also if you time it right, not bad eitehr. This used to be a Marukai or Mitsuwa discount store, but Daiso took over the property, so it sells essentially the same type of stuff in many ways. There's also a Daiso location off of Hawthorne and Sepulveda near the Del Amo Mall in Torrance, and one in the San Francisco Bay Area, in Colma (near Daly City) at the Serramonte Shopping Center. read more

It is also in a great location, next to lots of shopping and dining places. read more

I love shopping at Daiso, hated my shopping experience today. I came in at 7:40 and the person doing announcements was really obnoxious and trying to push customers to leave before closing. I can understand how it's frustrating it can be but people can be out at a timely fashion without announcing that they're closing every 5 minutes. Literally. The employee got what they wanted I won't be shopping at this location anytime soon. read more

I love this store! Super cute. Kind of like a 99 cent store but way cuter. Has a bunch of random things. There was a line to enter right now because of the virus but I didn't wait a long time because the line moved fast. I'll for sure be coming back to this store! read more

This is a GREAT Daiso...HUGE!!! If you haven't been to a Daiso, you will be addicted once you go. They have just about everything you can think of, glassware, kitchen supplies, cleaning items, gardening tools, regular tools, schools supplies, party supplies, travel items, snacks...if you are looking for some odds and ends, you might find it here. I would say that 90% of the store is $1.50 with a few exceptions are a bit more but still cheaper then going to target. If you are on a tight budget, I would suggest you might avoid this place because you might go crazy and walk out with 20 things! haha.... Parking was SUPER easy - big lot. They are in the same plaza as 85 degrees bakery. read more

Been here many times just to get what I need but when I ask for help I've been receive with a bad attitude. Not a smile on there face. The current manager was even worse. Someone said since I'm not Asian they'll give me attitude. If that's the case then That's a shame as my money is still worth something no matter the origins. It's American dollars I'm using and here it's one color green. read more

There are no signs to show how to get to the check out. You can barely see where the check out is because the counters are high. I asked one employee where the check out was and she just pointed in the direction of the front door. Two other customers also could not find the check out. You need to literally go through a fat maze to get to the check out area. And when I finally got there 4 employees were standing around gossiping. That will be the last time I go into that store. Terrible management read more

Decided to stop by for a cute pair of chopsticks which I did find. Black with a silvery flower accent at the top. TOO CUTE. I also found a panda sandwich cutter for my daughter because she loves her Nutella sandwiches! They have an adorable Disney section to your left as you enter the store. Cute earrings, tote baggy, stationary stuff, etc. Cashier was very friendly. Only thing that disappointed me was on how empty the store looked. Merchandise on shelves was mostly gone. Lots of empty shelves. Hope they stock up soon! read more

This is one of the more comprehensive Daiso strores in terms of merchandise selection and largest in regards to square footage. The aisles are wide and clean with lots of signage for easy navigation. My favorite part about this particular Daiso is the various snack options. They also carry lots of different Pocky flavors and most recently, sea salt Pocky, which I left with 2 packs! Similar to other Daiso stores, credit card purchases if over $10 minimum. Customer service is ok. Ample parking, same plaza as 85C Bakery and 99 Ranch Market. read more

I love the variety at Diaso, literally all the little gadgets you didn't know you needed. Always here! Lol

What did I get for less than $17? http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=VicoxAai5JINrWwVwR2zpg&userid=W7DHyQlY_kXls2iXt-_2Ag Green tea cream cookies, wheel and tire brush, tire bag, shower curtain, headband, nail blings, 2 toothbrushes, barettes, purse hook, notebook and butane. They played this loud obnoxious music to attract customers outside the store. We were greeted by so many workers: a greeter, a girl who gave away raffle ticket and a girl who offered basket/shopping cart. It was crowded inside but the aisles were pretty big. I felt like I was in 100¥ store in tokyo with the j-pop music playing. I even found the exact note-envelope set that I got from tokyo few years ago. I also saw my favorite japanese cotton buds in regular, wet and sticky. Most items are $1.50 unless stated otherwise. Some are even $.50-$1.00. There was a guy who directed customers to the available registers. I wasn't done shopping so I refused to go to the register when he asked me LOL Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Too many workers IMO but maybe it was just for the grand opening. They overcharged me for one stuff and the manager and cashier apologized and fixed it right away. They do not accept $100 bill. Debit card has no minimum. No exchange. No return. No tax exemption. They accept Mastercard & Visa. 5 stars!! It is located @ the old Marukai 98 cents store. read more

Daiso is like the cute, pink cosplay cousin of your local 99-cent store. The aisles are loaded with a similar hodge-podge of small (& sometimes odd) items that you might find at Dollar General, but, like, waaaaaaaaay cuter, cleaner, and pinker. Seriously, Daiso is a shopping adventure of Japanese consumer products. You literally never know what you'll discover. Half the items for sale are things you need or can use today. The other half are weird stuff you never even thought needed to be invented, but somehow seems totally useful & cool ... especially if it's pink. Daiso is a $1.50 treasure hunt through aisles of inexpensive Japanese merchandise made in China for you to buy here in Gardena. The reason Daiso dominates the 100 Yen market in Japan is because it totally works. Note that there are no exchanges or returns. Who cares? It's a $1.50. Why spend more for something when you don't have to ... and it comes in pink? read more

This could be a Daiso Japan toss up between Gardena and Hacienda Heights. Both stores are about neck and neck when it comes to space, cleanliness, and merchandise. They're both ginormous. Although, I did notice some goodies at this location that I've never seen before. Such as these Squash and Shampoo Air Fresheners for your ride. Guess how much? A dolla will make you holla? Then, a $1.50 should make you scream. THERE'S A SUCKER BORN EVERY MINUTE * Everything inside the store is $1.50, unless otherwise marked. * They don't accept $100 dollar bills. * Credit Card minimum is $10. Debit Card has no minimum. * VISA & MasterCard are accepted only. Purchases over $20 with a credit card requires a valid ID. * All sales are final. No returns or exchanges. I gotta give some mad props to Daiso. They really and I mean REALLY do their homework. Geographically, they're popping up everywhere, especially where they can target the Asian clientele. In addition, they're making quite a splash with the Latinos as well. This location used to be a former Marukai dollar store and once business went flat, Daiso was there to rebound. A couple years ago, if you asked me about this company, I would have been like - Daiso? Who's that? Now, I can't stop talking about them. They basically hypnotize you to buy their merchandise based on the fact that it's cheap and because they only sell BRAND Goods, not Closeout or Factory Second Merchandise. WHERE ARE YOU DAISO? * Koreatown, Sawtelle, Northridge, Hacienda Heights, Chino Hills, Buena Park, Monterey Park (N. Atlantic Blvd), Temple City, Monterey Park (S. Atlantic Blvd), Torrance, Gardena, Anaheim, Artesia, Irvine, Lake Forest. Kids, they're gonna open more locations, I'm feeling it. BUY NOW, USE LATER * Beanies - good fabric. * Socks - they never slide down your ankles. * Earmuffs - cute. * Gloves - really warm. * Hot Sauce & Soy Sauce - you think they're targeting Latinos & Asians? * Dress Shirt - nice looking patterns. * Toothbrush - how you gonna say NO to Spider-Man? * Fake Eyelashes - my ex used to pay $5 a pair elsewhere. * The TOP 5 Sheet List - they even show you what to buy. The Dumb and Dumber of marketing. read more

Can you tell I love Daiso stores. Everything there is $1.50. They have so many high-quality items and it's a fun store to shop in. Each time I come to California I make sure I check out Daiso stores and this trip was no exception. What do I buy? Anything, kitchen towels, bento containers, socks, cosmetic products, knitting supplies, night lights, lingerie bags, cosmetic bags, cute wrapping paper, slippers... You name it, they have it. On this trip I got to the flagship store in Gardena. It's huge. What I thought was very humorous though was we got there about half an hour before closing. The employees there want to be sure they close on time and started announcing at least 15 minutes before closing. Then they started turning off the lights and back on again to hurry out of the store. They do except credit cards and cash and note that all sales are final, no exchanges no returns read more

I LOVE Daiso! I think this is my favorite location for the fact that I think it is the biggest store I have been to yet. Stocked with the usual amazing goodies starting at $1.50 that other stores have but you have room to move. Most locations are so tight, you barely fit through with your shopping basket. I just LOVE their products and find new things every time. It takes forever to figure out what some of the things are but when I try them, I always love them. Overall, I really appreciate the organized chaos of this store. Everything is neat and clean, just so much of little knick knacks. Remember though, that all sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
