The location is great, the service is alright, the place is clean, but the selection seems minimal in comparison to other Burlington locations. I love coming to Burlington and it's affiliated stores like Marshalls, Homegoods, etc. The 3 star is specifically at this location. I've been to many Burlington and this one is the first one that do not bags. When I was checking out I asked the cashier for a bag for my items. The cashier told me they don't carry bags at all and that I would have to purchase burlington brand reusable bags. I declined. The store is located on the second floor and I bought a lot of bulky decorative items so I took the elevator down. When I was ready to step out the security or someone said I would have to take all my stuff out and leave the cart back. Luckily I was with shopping with a group and we had to carry the stuff to the car. After spending $200+ they can't even offer any bags for their customer to carry out. I wouldn't mind paying the extra few 10 cents for a few bags, especially since the store is on the second floor. read more

Terrible service my four year old needed to use the restroom. They have huge signs that read "restrooms" for customers. The door is locked and requires a code. I asked three associates for the code they all sent me towards the cashiers. Just for the manager to say that it's out of service. Just terrible to have to go through a handful of people to get one answer. Like why doesn't the dodo manager just put up a sign on the door of the restroom that read "out of order"!!! This store is clean, close to home and spacious but why are the restrooms closed in all Burlingtons??? I mean I have a medical condition in which I have to take special meds that make me pee frequently and I have to run out to the mall to use the restroom? That sucks! Went in to purchase school clothes for my kids, and of course, yes, I had my kids with me because I was going to need them to try on the stuff. When asking the older loss preventiois, Gentleman who can open the dressing room for myself and my children. He was very rude about it and told me not to talk to him because he's trying to catch people when he was just standing there. I proceeded to walk to the register and ask somebody if someone could open the dressing room. The lady was rude and said I'm coming, don't worry." As I was standing there waiting didn't notice her open it and tells my 11 year old there that's what you wanted and told her let me see what you have and make sure you come out with the same stuff. As if she was insinuating what, as if my 11 year old is stealing. Very rude and disrespectful. Don't fill anybody should shop here. read more

Don't spend your time or money here with your family. I went with my wife and 4 kids. For clothes for going back to school. The lost prevention security guard was super Rude telling my son not to talk to him. He's busy, my six-year-old was asking for the code to use the restroom. Because my 1-year-old needed a diaper change and I was standing by the door. Place is huge , which is a pro & a con . Pro because there's a huge variety / selection of stuff to choose from Con because from all the walking around this huge place they don't have any open bathrooms & me and my kid had to use it and my kid almost had an accident because we had to go all the way down to the mall area to look for a restroom. I also saw an older lady that looked like she couldn't walk much telling an employee she really had to pee. That's not cool. Management you really need to re-think about opening those restrooms , I know for sure that ruins your customer volume read more

I was in this store today and had a very disappointing experience. Items in the store were hard to find and difficult to determine pricing. The lady at the fitting room was rude and disrespectful to everyone. No one was around to ask questions or get help anyway. Thought maybe there were at the checkout lanes...NO!! The worse part of the shopping trip was the checkout line. I spent 42 minutes in the checkout line. Forty-two minutes of my life standing in a disorganized Burlington Store line to spend my money. The only reason I stayed in the line was that my granddaughter found a dress she liked to wear to her uncles funeral and I didn't want to get out of the line for fear of not finding the dress at Ross for Less. I complained to the "manager" who said, "Oh it's been like this all weekend because everyone is shopping for back to school, and since covid we can't hire people because of social distancing rules". Well if you knew it was going to be busy, why didn't you pre-plan to have more people working at alternate registers or install acrylic barriers. Come on Burlington!! I was having a horrible day on Monday it was around 3 I was shopping for some clothes for my moms birthday. I went to checkout and this lovely employee named Elena made my entire day with her friendliness. I like shopping at Burlington. Especially later at night because I feel like there's less people. However, my experience today at this location wasn't that great. I don't mind waiting in line but today I think I waited 30-40 minutes to pay for my items. There was this one male who was all alone ringing up the customers. Then another female comes to the front and clearly sees there's a line and doesn't even try to help him. I felt bad for him, she goes on to get on the intercom and say that the store is closing in 30 mins and still fails to help him check the customers out. Like what kind of store employee does this, I think she just didn't care period. Shout out to Daymon for checking out all the customers in line on his own while I think that other female who maybe was a manager just kept watching the line grow and didn't even help. read more

I had a great shopping experience there yesterday evening. First the store had sanitizing wipes for the shopping carts at the door. The store was clean and uncluttered and shopping felt comfortable and easy. The store was well stocked with many items in all departments and an abundance of Christmas gifts. The checkout line was very long when I approached, but to my surprise moved swiftly. The highlight of this visit was the Associate (Jonathan) who checked me out. Jonathan was so happy and smiling and that was refreshing because during this time with the pandemic and holiday hustle I haven't been experiencing that from sales associates in the malls. I'm already hesitate to go out amongst other shoppers. Jonathan's upbeat personality and smiling face really made my day! Paired with his knowledge of product, I asked a few questions regardinging my purchases, and his professionalism was a win win situation! I left there feeling pleased. A good shopping experience. That's not what made not only me complain but the whole line behind were complaining as well. They are racist. The person that was charging is the main one we waited almost 30 mins in line while There was only one register opened 3 other associates including 2 managers standing around acting like they didn't see a long line but as soon as us Hispanic people were next to pay the cashier put on her shitty face giving attitude. Never spend my hard money here! Sending out coupons in the surrounding neighborhoods that you get a free insulated bag with any purchase. No signage saying they are out of bags after waiting in line for 15 minutes. Honestly the place already looks like they closing it down. Close this store and teach your employees customer service. If the customer approach you with a smile and question, be knowledgeable and friendly. I had a pair of gloves that was missing the price tag. The young cashier asked me where I got them from and I told her the mens section. I have no idea why she went to the women section and brought me a pair of mittens. They are two entirely gloves. Both she and her co-worker had very nasty additudes, maybe they were tired. If this the case take a break!!! Then they both proceed to tell me if there is no cost they are to find the same brand and charge the cost of that item. First of all that makes no sense!!! Brands have several styles they produce a season and sometimes they are costed and priced differently. I work in the apparel manufacturing side and have done so for 26 years now. Furthermore, why couldn't you look the item up by the style number for accuracy???? I was so dismayed with the lack of pleasant, helpful customer service I decided to leave my entire order and just go to another store. Nancy the manager offer a discount on top of the cost they were trying to charge me, however it came after her cashier associate throwing the mittens down when she had to go to the mens section to find "like" gloves. It also came after me having to deal with the nasty dispositions of her crew. This is not a good look for a new store and it is obvious the associates can care less about the company's bottom-line! I'm usually not one to hire based on age, however you can see the lack of maturity with these employees. Good luck with this location, but I will keep driving to Cerritos. Which is sad because I only live 5 minutes from this location. Furthermore, I will be forwarding this complaint to corporate. read more

Clean store. Neat and organized. Tends to be more expensive than other Burlington's stound the area. That's the only downside of this store.

So far my experience has been pleasant. I believe I went on a Saturday. The lines were moving at a good pace. I like how they call the next person to the checkout stand versus yelling "Next" something about that makes me feel like I'm being yelled at. The crew working checkout had smiles on there faces and conversing with the customers. Going back today if that experience changes I'll write a review. read more

The customer service at this Burlington at the South Bay Pavilion is bad. The line at the registers moved really slow with two cashiers and more than 15 people waiting. It isn't just one bad experience though. This is the norm at this location. I've never had this experience at the Torrance location. read more

The place is well organized, not too crowded, and workers don't stare at you annoyingly as you browse. They have so much good stuff and it's all in good condition, even the makeup, which is rare in bargain stores. I got stuff for myself and all my kids, I really liked it. I will definitely come back. Love this new location. I like the fact that this store is closer to home and I don't have to drive that far to Del Amo. The store is definitely more cleaner and and more organized. I love the fact the store is close to home. I couldn't post this review earlier but am really going to have to speak to the manager, sometime ago my husband and i came to that store and his wound opened, one of the associates helped me clean him up, over heard some associates telling her not to touch peoples wound and all and her response was amazing she said "his like my father" i don't know if associates can receive gifts but hope to do something nice for that pretty young lady. she is African, i can't remember her name for sure but the closest name that comes to mind is Blessing.
