The selection is fair, though often I have to try and find an employee to pull down items I need. It is not uncommon for Walmart to have items located in places that only a person 8 feet tall could reach. When I have asked an employee (and even a manager), they are less than gracious and helpful. The lines at the Temecula Walmart are ALWAYS long and there are never enough registers open. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STORE. I do all my shopping here, groceries, household, automotive, garden, they always have what I need, and the employees are always pleasant and helpful. I read some of the reviews below and I think their funny. For those of you who post pictures of dirty bathrooms and complain about the "people of Walmart" that shop here or the lack or items on the shelf, or every other negative comment...take a look in the mirror. It is the customers who shop here (just like you were shopping here) who destroys that store. As adults sadly our accountability seems to get brushed off our shoulders and we do not hesitate to burden someone else to take it on. In this case, go for it. I was placing an order on line to be picked up (that's a whole different story) headline said apply for a Walmart card and receive $25 off your 1st online order!! Yippee! Not happening =, applied for card, approved in minutes, had a temporary card (online ) to use right away till the real plastic got mailed...now it begins after 3 hours of trying still cannot purchase items...Got walked through 2times (cause I'm old?) still no workie! Call Walmart .com won't go to far into it except to say no workie, after 3 calls to Walmart.com, Synchrony Bank (scary) cancelled card! Ye Gods these corporations are Billionaires??? Anyway card that was automatically added to be able to shop (immediately) did not work and Synchrony Bank stated my Walmart Account was now cancelled and could never be applied for again!!! This has to have the worst customer service in all the Walmarts I have been in. "Customer service" means just that. You are there to serve and help the customer... The manager on duty at 9:30 - 10:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1st should not be in this department nor in any department where she has direct contact with customers. She was very rude and condescending. Explanation of what transpired: My husband, working out of town did a Walmart 2Walmart money transfer to me. I used the Walmart App to utilize the Express Money Service so all I had to do was come in to Customer Service, scan the QR code, show my CA Driver's License and get my money. First, let me say that it is a 35-40 minute drive to get here from where I live. Knowing that I confirmed the money was there and ready to be picked up, I made the 35 Mile drive and pulled into Walmart's parking lot on fumes. I run in, scan the QR code, give the csr my driver's license and she proceeds to tell me they cannot accept my DL because it's been tampered with. (The DMV had put a change of address sticker on my license on the back and a strip covering just my old address on the front. It has been this way for the past 3 years and no one, not even a CHP has said anything about it. AND I had just used it to pick up money at this same Walmart last Saturday without any problems. I told the CSR that it was imperitive that I get the money not just for food but without it, I couldn't get home, as I had no money and no gas in my car. By this time another CSR was involved and she went and got the mgr. She went on to say, " I am not taking this driver's license!" 'It has been tampered with." I said my license has been this way for 3 years and I have never had a problem with it before and I just used it right here last Saturday to pick up money. Her response, "I AM NOT TAKING THIS LICENSE!" You're just out of luck. By this time customer service was closed and I will be spending the night in my car in Walmart's parking lot. read more

Avoid bringing you car to this Walmart. They tried to scam my husband by telling him that there is nail stuck in one of the tires. The employee name is Daisy. When I picked up the car and told them I want to take the old tire...the guy admittedly said there are no holes. They put my old tire back and credited me back but if I did not check the old tire, i would have wasted $200!!! Hate these scammers! read more

Brought the truck in for an oil change- we usually take it to Walmart and never have any issues, and the price is right. Apparently, they have changed their process for oil changes and wound up breaking parts off inside the truck and had to have the truck towed across the street to be repaired and have the oil changed. What should have taken no more than an hour wound up taking 10+ hours. Thankfully, they didn't charge for the oil change. To make things worse, when we were finally able to pick up the truck they pretty much refused to give us any receipt or information on the repairs that were done, and somehow expected us to sign a waiver releasing walmart of any liability should anything go wrong with the truck. Um... NO. So after haggling with some assistant manager (i think her name was Vanessa?) with a major attitude problem, we finally got the necessary paperwork that we needed (go figure- all she had to do was go in the office and make a copy of it. That must have been so hard for her to do. UGH). I think the assistant managers major attitude (out of sheer laziness) was the most disappointing part. Needless to say- we will NOT be returning to Walmart's auto section for any services. Reluctant to even shop there in the first place. What a joke. read more

I always come here for my grocery shopping. Even if some prices are higher than other grocery stores, I use the savings catcher app which makes up for it. The self checkout is nive because i can bag my groceries how i want and its usually quicker than waiting in line. I just wish they could coordinate their stocking better. It seems like they are always stocking shelves when I come here, regardless of day or time. Makes it hard to get through aisles or get items off the shelf when there are large pallets or stocking carts blocking the shelves. read more

First, this store is always a mess, and the employees are hit or miss, most days. But this review is for the tire center. DO NOT GO HERE unless you have 4+++ hours to get your tires changed. I bought tires for my car there, warranty and all. 2 weeks later I had a slow leak. Took 3 visits to get that fixed. Not because they were busy, or didn't have the tires. One visit was around 4pm, not a soul in the auto department. After 30 min of the front trying to page someone, I left. Unfortunately, my husband decided to order another set of tires there for his car. Should have known better. I'm writing this review as he sits for the 3rd hour, waiting. They took the car in, and it's just sitting there, and barely had the first tire taken off. If you ask for help or what's happening, it's almost magical what happens: suddenly everyone working disappears, or instant is mute. Quite impressive. Don't get me wrong, I do understand that you probably don't love this job, or some of the customers that come in, but who does? It's still your job, so do it! read more

I frequent this Walmart as it is close to home and I can get twice as much for my money than shopping at places like Albertsons or Ralphs. I buy groceries here and can come away with a weeks groceries that won't break the bank. When our kids were little their clothes (as fast as they grew out of them) didn't cost me a fortune for something that would get stained or torn so fast. Even their pharmacy is great. I can get some medications cheaper here without insurance than paying my insurance fees. And I have to give a huge shout out to Jessie, one of the store assistant managers. During Christmas he helped me to find out some information that was a huge help to me. He went above and beyond and was knowledgeable and very courteous!! I see him running around no matter what day or time I go. It seems I can always find him around doing his best and working hard. He deserves a great big shout out!! The store is always neat and tidy, but could use some help in keeping the shelves stocked. Sometimes I have to go back several times before I find what I am looking for in stock again. But, for the prices I will continue to keep coming back. And we love Jessie! read more

Pharmacy is a joke. Rude and unhelpful I called to fill a prescription and came in when they told me it would be ready. When I got there they told me they were out and they didn't know when t would be in. It is a sleeping pill I am prescribed to take every day. I asked them when and it wouldn't get it for four days. I asked if they could give me the name brand version for the few days I would be out and they said no. They offered me absolutely no solution except to wait until it came in. I would give zero stars if that were an option. Today July 31 at 9:35am I had to stop and get a free things. I manage to get more than a few, I would say I had 23-25 items, there were 3 check stands open with one being the 20 items or less and since there was nobody in that line I proceeded to use that checkout. The girl was very rude and disrespectful due to the fact I had a few over the 20 items. She was so rude in fact i left my order and walked out. I tried to speak with a "manager " by the name of Troy which I highly doubt he was a manager or his name was Troy on the phone because he was rude as well. The minute I said I want to file a complaint he said to call a 1800 number. Unbelievable how rude and disrespectful they were. Got to meet a cashier named Ariale tonight. I wish this was a good experience, but, Ariels customer service (attitude) was garbage. My girlfriend and I were going to split a $99.66 grocery bill. We asked for the bill to be split in half which would be $49.83. "Ariale" charged my girlfriend $66.89. So, when we asked her why she was charging that amount she raised her voice and said "that's what you wanted, to split it in half!" You know, Highway 79 Walmart used to be my favorite one but ever since thewannabe renta cop security guard (named Rick) chased me out with my beers in hand it hasnt been the same. it was past time to buy alcohol so I must have stolen it because all Rick can do is assume so as he's chasing me out and I'm chasing my skateboard as its rolling without me and he's trying to grab at me and my board is about to be ran over by a car so I jump on the it and lo and behold my beers fall to the ground-breaking half of them so when I return to the entrance and tell him to calm down and that I bought the beers before 2 and then went to go shop so that I could get the alcohol purchase out of the way he insisted that I was lying and that he never said I was stealing just that I couldn't have bought the alcohol after 2 this certain individuals name is Rick if I remember correctly and he's the wannabe cool guy security guard at Walmart.probably doesn't even work there anymore because he doesn't look like he can hold the job for very long especially one that involves thinking instead of assuming so anyways I ask to talk to the main manager for the night and I forget her name Maria Mariah maybe. she decided to tell me that there was no way she would give me any type of exchange for the beers because I'm the one who dropped them even though the reason why I dropped them was stated above. so I told them I was bummed especially since I couldn't buy more and shame on you Rick for jumping to conclusions and walked away ever since then I really haven't like that Walmart the only thing good about it is it's 24 hours but really they always think I'm stealing even when I'm walking in the front to the doors I heard on the radio that there was a suspicious person approaching in the garden area and then to managers come walking up and I say "got a call about a suspicious person?" I and they said "yep" so obviously there's some paranoia going around over there and or I'm a suspicious looking person but regardless they treated me with no respect and I was guilty until proven innocent customer service is more relaxed than Murrieta Hot Springs. that's definitely my least favorite Walmart they are sticklers who take their job way too seriously and won't even return anything that I have anymore just because I've been in there so many times because they won't return anything I have so I have to keep coming back in and then they tell me they won't return anything so I have to come back in and then they think I'm doing return fraud which if that were the case I would be on there return activity tracker system but I'm not. I've bought thousands of dollars worth of things from Home Depot Wal-Mart and Lowe's and Walmart's the only one that's really giving me issues period and now I've been waiting on hold and on a call from Walmart for two and a half hours I keep calling them and they bounce me around and hang up on me and I swear they're f****** with me and I know I probably sound like I'm on drugs which who isn't these days LOL JK but really though Pharmacy answered for different times and said they would direct me to the customer service then said they would direct me to the operator and then after I finally got hold of customer service they asked me the same question for different times about what register I was at and what time I bought my products that I need to come claim because I left them there. Here I am with 2% battery still waiting on their call after I've told them I'm in a hurry and only have a little battery what can you expect from Walmart though I guess right they hire half half-life's. So I am considered a "male" in today's society, but I was browsing in the purse aisle because I wanted a purse, and my friends were sitting down waiting for me. So Janice came up to me and she said she will call security on me and my friends when we were just browsing the purses. This is probably the worst Wal-mart in existance. Extremely bad customer service. The cashier i had was named Jocelyn and she refused to sell alcohol to me with my brother next to me. So to solve the problem my brother left to a different line to buy his pop, and she told me she still wouldnt sell to me. On top of this "Jocelyn" glares at my brother like he is the biggest jerk in the world for switching lines. I looked it up and the law says only the person buying the alcohol has to present an ID. I also looked up the store policy that she tryed to say gave her the right, but this also states that she can only ask for the ID of the person purchasing the alcohol. All my brother wanted was sada that he was purchasing himself. Furthermore my wife was behind him, and she had problem's with her aswell, she qetioned every one of her purchases and took 30 minutes to bag 23 iteams. This is the worst walmart in the history of the superstore chain dont ever shop here. Took my car for a oil change at Walmart and they told me they check your tire pressure and fill up all your fluids. They left my windshield fluid empty when I specifically asked them to fill it up. They also asked me for my number so they could call me when it was ready. I sat at Walmart for 2 hours waiting and when I finally asked the girl at the auto motive counter(she was very rude as well), she said oh it's been done for a hour already. So I asked her why didn't anyone call me and tell me it's ready...she replied with the guys are busy so they just didn't get to it. When this girl was sitting their finger popping her butt hole not doing anything. She could have called me instead of twiddling her little lazy fingers. Every other department gives excellent customer service and I love coming to the Temecula Walmart for everything !! I shop at Walmart every two weeks and drop $200. to $230 cash no debit card every trip. Even though they see me every two weeks because I am a black man the security follow me. This has gone on for 10 years. I will get into the reason I know security is following me. As a minority we get followed a lot in stores. Even though the majority in the store may be Hispanic they follow the black guy. Also you can see them wandering around trying to look like they are shopping. This Walmart is racists. Sad part is of all the people to follow why follow the person who pays $200 cash every time they are in. If I am stealing something why do you see my buy $200 in products? That is how low IQ and stupid the security is. Also the reason I know I am being followed is because I worked for Walmart HQ going back to 1991. I have been in the security office. I know how security operates and I know their procedures. This is this is how stupid this is. I was sent to do work in that store at one time. I met the management team years ago. When security follows somebody who drops $200 cash it means they are not watching other people. I cannot believe how the greeters at this store have the nerve to follow someone to the door or out to the parking lot when they are already checking someone else's receipt just because i did not want to buy a bag does not mean they have the right to ask me for my receipt and profile me for stealing because that is what they are looking for people who are stealing i feel they are always racially profiling me and my husband and it is ridiculous that they feel they can chase me down to my car to see my receipt. I went to this Walmart to puchase 4 brand new tires and 2 day later after it was installed I heard a squeaking sound when the van was running about 60 miles an hour. The sound was really annoying. So I brought it back to Walmart several days later because I did not have the time to bring the van the next day. I even recorded the squeaking sound and showed it to the guys there in the tire center at Walmart. The guys there said it was not due to the tires but the axle. I told them the squeaking sound only came out after they installed the brand new tires.They kept on insisting it is not the tires. They said they will take a look at it but it will take 3 hours. My impression is that they are not willing to fix the problem that they have created and blame it on something else. This is the first time I bought tires at Walmart and this thing happened.
