Been a Costco member for many years and the Temecula location is my home location. I love the inviting floor design and flow of my experience walking through the warehouse. Everything is so well stocked, organized and clean. Plenty of room to walk through, even on days when it's crowded. Their seasonal items are something I make sure to always check out. I take advantage of the executive hours, love that part about membership. The products and food are always high quality so I always trust it. And I have comfort knowing that if it doesn't work out, I can bring it back easily for a refund or easy exchange. The food court is a must, sometimes we come here just to eat and not shop. Costco Temecula is a decent Costco. The Parking lot is always a challenge but it's never completely full as long as you don't mind walking. The Temecula warehouse seems a bit smaller than other warehouses I've been too but I really don't know if that's factual or not because I have no idea on the square footage of Costco warehouses. They don't always have things that other warehouses have but it might be vice versa. I had hoped that when they built the Murrieta location that this location would slow down a bit but that hasn't happened. It's always extremely crowded. I believe it'd be completely beneficial for Costco to build another warehouse over in South Temecula area. I heard a rumor that they were going to build one in the Menifee area but that would not ease the Temecula Costco crunch at all. I just could never give up my membership as much as I hate the crowds in the parking lot because Costco has served me well for several decades. There are some amazing things here that I can't get anywhere else for the price that I can get them for at Costco. For instance Kirkland's organic olive oil is amazing and the price is awesome. Kirkland organic bread flour is a staple in our home as I make a lot of bread. I also love the clothing factor. I love being able to go through all the clothing every season and pick out what I need for the family. When disappointment is that they only start shoe sizes for women in size 6. Unfortunately Costco fails to recognize that there are many people who wear size 5. I believe they should start carrying all shoe sizes and not just the most popular ones. Gas station lines are almost always long but there are times when it's a relatively easy in and out process when you're getting gas. Right now the gas prices in California are sky high, the highest that they have ever been, so there are going to be long lines. I'm actually happy that we had our Costco here. One lap around the store and you'd have a pretty good tapas night. It's the closest thing we have to adult trick-or-treating. Plus, you'll end up with enough toothpicks to start a decent campfire. On the other hand, it's not pretty... seeing grown-azz humans attacking a mini-quiche like it's the last life jacket on the Titanic. Costco samples turn mature adults into hungry seagulls. A fresh tray comes out, and a swarm of piercing eyes and open mouths dash to the dead carcass. The only thing preventing total chaos are those little grandmas in hairnets, gloves, and the faint scent of Vicks VapoRub. These sample showgirls have the greatest side-hustle ever. They don't care if you stop, try, or buy. They just enjoy gatekeeping one chunk of cheese at a time. I walked up to one of these golden girls the other day, and she already had me pegged for this suckers-only opportunity, "I know you didn't come here for the mini-hot-pockets. But you're gonna wanna at least try 'em." And I did. And then I circled back around. Tried to disguise myself... put on sunglasses, turned my hat around, and acted surprised to stumble upon mini-hot-pockets. She doesn't even look up... I just hear her saying, "Still you..." I'm eating my third one, and she's all, "How many 300-packs of mini-hot-pockets would you like today? They're on sale for $24.99!" And I reply, "Ma'am, I don't have room in my freezer for even a single Popsicle. Where am I gonna put 300 hot-pockets?" But I always cave... that's their business model. A free bite or two and suddenly you're emotionally attached to the product. You go in for toilet paper, and you leave with a kayak, a tuxedo, and a lifetime supply of vitamin gummies you don't even take. Because the other sample lady said you looked tired. Pro tip: Went to Costco for the one-stop shopping and bulk savings... stayed for the free samples. I'm at home now waiting for delivery of a new 21.7 cu. ft. self-cleaning Garage Freezer. I would just like to give a shoutout to the staff this morning at thus Temecula store, especially the gentlemen mannin register #2 during the Executive Member Shopping Hour. The cashier (couldn't see his nametag and his assistant Chris) both really helpful in locating the seasonal Noel Serrano Ham I was searching (yes, I used the item locator feature on the Costco app) for. I just couldn't find it where I thought they would display it. Chris, his cashierhe was partnered with was ready to check for stock availability as well. A supervisor joinef in and all three told me where to look. Chris, went that extra mile to actually walk/escort me to the exact are to find the ham. Costco has always been a part of my life, and I'm thankful for their organized warehouses, quality items, and savings in bulk purchases. I happened to stop by for my regular weekly shopping trip during Executive member hour (9-10am M-F) and it was nice being able to go through aisles without carts obstructing aisles and waiting in line for check out. I also got complimentary water and muffin coming into the store, which was new. I always enjoy shopping at this particular Costco location over the newer one on Clinton Keith because it's less congested, and the store seems more organized. I've always had a great experience shopping at Costco in Temecula...until tonight. Associate range up my items incorrectly (it happens). I had to go back and get a few things adjusted. Okay....yes, I was tired, but complied. Another sales associate is trying to address the transaction and a "manager" comes over and says to his team member, "I can tell you need some assistance... I can feel the energy." Wow...was that really necessary? Knocked over my Costco card and didn't bother to pick it up or say excuse me. No words... what a class act. I picked up a whole pizza on a Friday afternoon and received the thinnest pizza I've ever encountered from you guys. Ding Ding Ding!!! Jeff in the Optical Department is the GOAT (greatest of all time, not the other meaning). So helpful and patient! I had recently purchased prescription glasses from Costco. However, the frames I chose weren't to my liking. Tried to get used to the new look but really wasn't happy with my choice. Went back today to see what could be done and Jeff managed to find a different frame that I like much better and managed to place my progressive lenses in them within minutes. Convenient location and good selection. Not only is it right next to the mall, but this one was a lot less crowded than the other ones I've been to. I really enjoyed not having to maneuver through people and was able to get what I needed right away. They always have their usual products as well as seasonal food items and frozens. Prices are always great for a large quantity and very affordable. A really nice male employee helped scan all my items at self-checkout and basically did everything for me which I really appreciated! That was definitely the highlight of the entire trip, to be honest. There was a female employee, however, that really annoyed me. When you first walk in, there's always someone at the door that asks to see your Costco card. But I went in with a large crowd and no one showed her their Costco card -- so I didn't either. The lady decides to stop me and ask to see my Costco card which I had to pull out from my bag and then she let me go in. I don't mind showing my card since it's protocol and they're just doing their job. I'm confused and suspicious at the fact that she asked me and no one else. Why did she single me out? The food court is outside and there's a self-checkout kiosk to order your food at. The wait wasn't too long, but I noticed that there weren't many tables. The parking lot is somewhat limited in size, and the gas station can get quite busy at times. I love Costco and been a member for a long time. Unfortunately the t mobile kiosk they have ruined it. The staff April offered me to switch from at n t and gave me all perks that did not go through. First the discount with a wrong code then the costco rebate cards that had wrong codes too. Therefore, I just ended up paying more. On top of that, I kept going back and that they said April is gone and nobody else could figure out my problem. So I ended up closing the account. As soon as account is closed they suspended all services and yet still charged me for another month. I really feel like I have been cheated and to think they carry Costco name with customer satisfaction guarantee. I feel like I need to cancel my Costco membership just to prove a point. In general, I love Costco...but this location is a nightmare for two reasons: finding a parking space to get in the door and a perpetual LONG line at the gas station. I have tried all different days/times and it doesn't matter when you go - it's always difficult. I've actually driven around for 15+ minutes in the parking lot, circling the entire building, and have finally given up - it's that hard to park here! And the gas line (although granted it does move along) always winds around and around. We kept hearing that once the Murrieta store was open, these issues would be alleviated, but I haven't found it to be the case. Of course, it follows that the store itself is also always packed. But there's a reason for that - they do have great merchandise and pricing. Like most, I end up spending and getting way more than I ever come in for! I usually use the self-checkout which I always prefer to do. There's an employee there to help out if needed and I find it goes much faster than waiting in the other crazy lines! I also love ordering online and bypassing the agony of having to actually go to the store. I keep debating giving up my Costco membership and going with Sam's Club, which I've heard is much better in terms of parking and crowds. But for now, I keep hoping half the people coming to the Temecula store will decide to go to the Murrieta location... read more

Not again! I just did a review of COSTCO in California near TEMECULA . This COSTCO on Univeristy Dr the Rocket city in Alabama is just so crowded all the time. (They have the lowest fuel prices in Huntsville!) I go there for their free ear examinations. So busy I had to get an appointment 2.5 months in advance. They have 3 ear booths but if only 2 employees show up it screws up or delays the process and delays everyone. COSTCO is a great place to shop. Look at their stock price, $845 / share. I normally don't return too many things but Costco is crazy good. I was that guy today and returned a pressure washer that was about 3 years old. The issue is that I only used it about 30 times since I am lazy when it comes to washing my car! Today I was helped by Wayne who assisted me and he was trying his best to look for my receipt and went beyond to find the power washer that was online and Costco used to sell. He then spoke with Allan, the Supervisor, who approved for the exception since my receipt was not in the system. Wayne & Allan are the reasons why we shop at Costco! Hopefully they were able to see that I did not abuse the return policy during my over 25 years as a member. Thanks to these guys we will be happy to buy more than what we came in for!! read more

I like Costco and have been a member for 25 years at three different stores. The running joke was always let's go to Costco for lunch. It was like going to party and having hourderves. This store is so fricking busy, parking spots are hard to come by if you come after 12pm. Once in most of the pain is over. The variety is what I like most. There is so much food items to choose from! The alcohol selection is pretty good too. You can find local wines mixed in with central coast and Nappa regions. Many I know and have visited. Hard liquor and beer selections galore. Clothes, hell yeah. Lots of pants, shorts, shirts and some work out clothes. Good for men and women. I get my pet meds filled here as well. They are fairly competitive on prices. We get Triflexis heart worm etc meds here. Good pharmacy and I usually combine my personal shopping at the same time. Then 30 minutes later my prescription is ready. They have a hearing center and an eye glass center. And much more. The hot dog and pizza snacks are great buys. Where can you get a decent size hot dog and a coke with refills for $1.50? I'm glad to see you have to be a member to buy from the snack bar now. read more

Anyone that has visited Costco knows it is hard to get out of the store without spending $250.00+. This trip cost me $340.00 and I still have to shop at Trader Joe's and Stater Brother's to complete my list. Over the years we have found specific items we must get at Costco. These include paper products, some meat (I will come back to this), water and flavored water drinks, canned tuna and canned chicken and my wife's lotion. We like meat from Stater Brother's better and produce from Trader Joe's better. With other options we limit our visits to Costco to just once a month. I ask myself, why does each visit cost me over $250? It is the shit I don't need that somehow ends up in my cart that brings the total higher. This is where Costco gets you. Enter the store and it is like a man cave. Yes, they put the big ass TV's at the entrance, along with other shit against the wall that gets my attention that I don't need. Damn you Costco! If I can only exercise discipline I could get out of the store with less than $125 in my cart. The problem is that would take most of the fun out of visiting this over sized playhouse. Also, walking each aisle is good exercise. So, Costco is good for your health. The Temecula Costco earns 4 stars. If they stop tempting me I would award 5 stars, but as it is, they only get 4 stars. read more

Look, I think everyone knows Costco. Nothing new here. This location is great but parking (like a lot of other locations) is atrocious. Just too many cars and not enough space. Timing is important and earlier in the day, especially weekdays, is best. The self checkout is amazing and eliminates a lot of the long lines I used to experience. Staff is always helpful and friendly at this location. The gas station is a joke, again not really Costcos fault. This store is located at a mall and there isn't good access to the gas station so it backs up the loop inside the mall property AND sometimes the main road in front of the entire complex. I don't even use this station anymore since it wastes more gas waiting in line for 45 minutes and I don't think I'm really saving any money by idling for almost an hour! Costco is still amazing but I'm glad they're building another location in the area. read more

Once that new Costco is finished off Clinton Keith in Murrieta, it will alleviate the crowd and the traffic at this store. We were here on Saturday, in between our Grandson's baseball tournament, here in Temecula. It took us 30 minutes to find a place to park! What a crazy madhouse this store is on the weekend! We love it! Crazy in a good way. I don't know what else to say about our visits here but Temecula will always be my store. We especially love the electronics section, where you can always find someone there to answer all your techy questions. Warranties on TV's are the best in the industry, when you purchase here. Costco extends TV warranties out as does Citibank when you use your Visa through them. Ask for details and don't quote me on this! LOL! I haven't had to use a warranty yet. The cell phone booth is located conveniently towards the front. You get perks from Costco that you don't get at authorized cell phone stores. So as a Costco member, don't overlook the benefit of signing up for a new phone or new service with the big companies. AT&T, VERIZON and T-MOBILE carriers located in this one booth. We always go to see a gal named Mae. She knows her cell phones and would take good care of you. Kirkland everything but my favorites are of course, their bottled water, bath tissue, dishwashing pods, dish soap and paper towels. My favorite people in this store, who always treat us like family....GILBERT IN ELECTRONICS, JOEY FRONT END, AMBER IN PHOTO, TIFFANY AND ANDREA ALWAYS SMILING AND GREETING US, and YOLIE, WE ADORE THEM! If you want to know a real secret, come at about 8 pm! Store closes at 8:30 weekdays. It's so much more quiet! LOVE OUR TEMECULA COSTCO! 5 STARS FOR THEM! read more
