I originally gave this business a great review because my experience with the salesperson was…read morepleasant. Although I appreciate the deal on the appliance, once I paid my money things changed. First, I was scheduled for next day delivery and we agreed to 5:30. I mentioned the commute home was long but I would check to see if my mom could wait for the delivery person. We still agreed on 5:30. I asked are there any other days available and I was told the driver doesn't work on Friday and Saturday wasn't available. Additionally, I was asked if the appliances were going to be upstairs. I said yes. Mr. Black said he only had one delivery person and he cannot make the delivery alone. He said since the delivery person would have to use his wife for the delivery, would I pay an additional 50.00 "to the wife????" Are you kidding! I received a call from the delivery person at 5:16, he was upset I was not there. He was agitated and yelling. I confirmed delivery was for 5:30 and my eta was 5:26. The delivery said " that's another 10 minutes!!." Wow. Removing both units from upstairs and installing two units is minimum 1 hour. Once I arrived the driver had unboxed the units and had the in the middle of my driveway along with his truck. As I pulled up and placed my hazards on, the driver miraculously is nice and insist I can drive around and park in my garage. Ok? Fast-forward, the driver and his wife take out my old units and bring in the new units. Upon seeing the drainage pan of the washer, he offered to replace it for 250.00. A 37.00 pan?? No thanks. He connected the washer and immediately said my pipes were frozen and I would need to call a plumber. The house is 10 years old. I stated that my washer was replaced before and I never heard such a thing. Magically, the water ran to the washer. The dryer was disconnected and there was a ball of lint. The delivery person quickly reconnected the hose and told me I need to call to get the line cleared because it was a fire hazard. So why not give me the option to leave the hose disconnected? Finally, as the couple were leaving, I was mopping up the spilled water from my old units and noticed the doorway panel was broken and set back in place. I hurried to catch the driver and couldn't so I called. I asked why didn't he mention the panel was broken. Why did he just put it back as if I don't own my house and wouldn't notice???? The installer, adamantly denied that he caused the damage. Rather the argue, I reached out to the owner or sales person Mr. Black and not only did I send the picture of the damage, he never answered the call nor did he respond the next day. Definitely, disappointed.

I just discovered Hank's hardware because Ace hardware in Temecula shut down. So I went to Hanks…read morefor the first time a couple of weeks ago and they have loose screws and nuts and other parts sold by the piece just like Ace hardware. I made Hank's biggest sale of the day two hexagonal head metric screws for 27 cents each. I went to San Diego Ace Hardware in Clairemont Square, where they were charging 95 cents for each screw, vs Hank's 27 cents. I said NO, not paying $2 for two 1.5 inch screws!!! Ace employee said it was expensive because that is now much a METRIC screw costs. I took one of the screws back to Hanks 2 weeks later because it was too short. Hanks happily gave me credit for the 27 cents so I could trade it for a screw half inch longer for onlyh 5 cens more, or 32 cents, when Ace wanted 95 cents for a shorter one.

Stopped by this hardware store to get some keys made. The staff was super friendly and really nice,…read morewhich made the experience pleasant. Unfortunately, one of the keys didn't work, so it ended up being a waste of money. The store is a bit far for me, so going back to have it fixed wasn't worth it, especially with gas prices. It was easier to just take the loss and have it remade somewhere closer. That's the only reason for the four instead of five, because their customer service really was great.

I got exactly everything on the list that was needed. They didn't make me feel like I was dumb because I didn't know what I was asking for they were terrific. It came time to finally paint the walls of my house and the interior designer recommended 4…read moredifferent colors. Two of the colors were from Sherwin Williams and the other two were from Benjamin Moore. I picked up samples from both of those companies and while I was at it I stopped by Dunn Edwards, per my painter's recommendation, to see if they could color match the Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore colors. When I arrived at the store, I instantly noticed how clean and well organized everything was. Prime parking was super easy to get too because the store is in a great spot of the plaza where there is hardly any traffic. The first employee to greet me was Dylan. He was super friendly and patient (also genuinely kind to my two toddler sons) and he was able to successfully match all of the colors I requested and so I ended up doing the entire interior of the house using Dunn Edwards paint, not even bothering with Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore. I came out a lot cheaper and the paint looked just as good when matched up side by side on my "sample wall". I feel it's also important to mention that I read a previous review about an employee being very rude and I'm sure that was not Dylan or the other guy whose name I unfortunately didn't get (he was a very tall, young guy braids) as he was great too. He took a lot of extra time to show us different swatches and explain the different types of paint. Obviously shopping for paint isn't going to be a super fun experience. I mean there's even that sarcastic saying that goes something like, "This is about as fun as watching paint dry..." But, all shopping experiences should be pleasant and you should feel that the employees care about your satisfaction. Therefore, I would highly recommend anybody who is looking to purchase paint to stop by this store. If possible, ask for Dylan because he provided me with a great experience and I'm sure he will do the same for you.

The guys who cant say enough about, Cole , Michael, and newbie Trev will greet you and take you to whatever you are looking for. They are knowledgeable on lots of electric questions, But, NEVER tell you something they don't know!! Big do it yourself stores are fine when you can find someone in the particular department and all you need is location of what you are looking for. So when a bolt sheared off underneath the mover on the pully assembly, we all started putting our heads together to try an get this taken care of for the Veteran. We approached Stauffers with a donated amount of money to get the repair done. Stauffers was very willing to help, in fact when it came down to picking up the mower and returning it to the Veteran we where surprised to find out Stauffers would not allow us to pay for the repair.
