I've honestly haven't shopped here since I was a teen/early 20's...years pass, the times change and so do the clothes. It just wasn't my cup of tea anymore until I became a mom and that child turned into a teen. She would always "window shop" but, would never really buy anything from here. Then there were a pair of pants that she asked for Christmas, so I did an online order to avoid the hustle and bustle at the mall. She opened it on Christmas and wore it for a day and the whole backside ripped open. These are stretchy (almost legging type of pants) and she is a slim 15 year old, so it had nothing to do with me buying a size too small, but everything to do with a very cheaply made product. Brought it in to return a few days later, I forgot the tag at home, but had my receipt. I was unaware that their store policy was they wouldn't accept returns unless the item was unworn with tags still attached. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. So this super rude "manager" by the name of Jayla continued to argue with me although I told her the tag was at home and it would be an hour round trip for me to get it and come back, she had no empathetic bone in her body and wouldn't budge. Ok, I understand...but 1) Don't he rude (there was a uber long line and she yells over my shoulder "So sorry for the wait everyone, thank you for your patience" in a very condescending tone) even though I waited in that same long line and not once did she apologize and 2) DON'T say the reason you can't take it back without a tag is because you can't resell it. WHY WOULD YOU RESELL DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE?! Super shady. She calls another manager over, Vanessa who had zero personality at all who told Jayla to do a "special return" and Jayla rudely drags my phone roughly across the counter to scan the receipt and huffily processes a store credit. The kicker is, she made this huge deal over $11 pants. This place is trash, more than half the store was empty as according to Jayla they are having an amazing holiday sale to restock new inventory hence why the store was 50% off everything. Sure, ok. Also, if your employees have to wear your clothing brand, please make sure it's tasteful and they are not spilling out everywhere. I don't usually shop at forever 21, it's not my usual place to shop because material is cheap and doesn't last. My friend ordered items online and she didn't like it, when she went to return it, the associate told her it can't be returned and she has to return it online even though that was not mentioned online. Then the other item that could be returned in store, my friend was going to return it via Apple Pay because they supposedly have it. They didn't even know how to use it. They lack knowledge,professionalism and proper etiquette to treat customers. They def need management training. read more

I've seen bigger...F21 stores. lol That being said, this is still a really large store; especially, in comparison to some of the other clothing stores available at the Promenade. What I love about this place is that it's so organized and they make very good use of the space. Everything is neatly hung up and there are different sections that flow nicely throughout the store. I love to read complaints about not being greeted or asked if I need help at forever 21. It's a SELF HELP store. Or when people ask to locate a specific item, like look around. F21 are huge and get hundreds of different styles shipped to them. The only reason they might be able to help you is either that they are the ones who put it out or it was a recent go back. Which reminds me if you can't find one of the employees it's probably because their working on the huge pile of go backs. It's cheap clothes in a popular store so many people try on mountains of items each and most of the time only end up taking a few if any. The rest are go backs that the employees have to figure out where the heck they go. Also for all the people complaining about store policy please contact customer service or direct your reviews to the company itself. Cashiers have no power to change it and telling them it sucks means nothing because they don't report to the people that do. Or if they didn't let you know about the return policy ahead of time...that's their job. Return is like the ultimate bad word in retail. Unless you ask specifically they won't tell you. Or here's an idea take some initiative and check your receipt or the website if you really need to know. Now I'm not trying to discredit every bad review. There are some legitimate problems like it being a crazy not shoppable environment or employees intentionally being rude. Bait and switch. Memorial day weekend 50% off in store or online is a fraud at this 21 store in Temecula. Counter person Jayla had to ask the manager a girl with glasses on if they would honor the 50% off memorial day coupon and she said this store does not honor the discount. I am happy with 21 up to this time. But memorial day weekend sales and they send out an email stating 50% off on all sale items and no detail on certain stores honor this. Customer service said only red tag items yet the coupon does not say red tag items only. Why email us to come in and then don't honor the coupon? This is bait and switch. It is time to close this store down like Charlotte ruse and the rest of the retailers that don't respect the customer. Forever 21 is a fraud. This unkempt Forever 21 has no class at ALL. Sales associates at this store put the entire company to shame. Instead of being courteous enough to inform the ever-growing line which register to come up to, a very rude associate with curly hair proceeded to ignore me TWICE to let two other customers go ahead of me in line. If there is more than one line, then make it known to ALL customers. I felt singled out, she was infinitely nicer to the customers proceeding and following me that she "picked" out next in the line. She went out of her way to leave the register to help one find an item while there was still a long line of customers. It must be nice to pick out which customers you want to help. Recently purchased a jacket for my daughter. It fit her beautifully, so I decided to wash it and keep it. Took it out of the washer and all of the buttons had rusted and oxidized in the washer. Nonetheless, I was able to exchange for store credit for the price the computer gave on the skirt. I was so happy!... I had no expectation on an item with no receipt, no tags, and only worn once since receiving it this past Christmas. I really appreciated their being able to offer a partial credit. This review was going to be positive with the customer service provided by the associate on the floor. However, management in this center is the reason for this poor review. During our shopping experience we were helped by a lovely girl named Erica. She went up and beyond to understand what we were shopping for and looked all around the store for us. At the point of check out, our total was over $220. There is currently a promotion going on, that we were told started today, that allowed customers to receive a $10 gift card for every $50 spent. We were due to receive 4 gift cards with $40. The sales associate could not figure out how to apply multiple gift cards to one transaction. We were patient, to begin with, until management gave us our options for their computer system not working and their lack of knowledge on the promotion. The first manager was a young blonde woman with long hair. She informed us we can do 4 transactions to receive the promotion or wait while she called tech support. I said this was unacceptable, your system is not working, we're spending quite a bit of money here, how about you just put $40 on a gift card and we call it good. She refused. A senior manager was standing by the registers and instead of coming over and helping the situation, decided to stay over with a woman and her baby. Also, from the conversation and the fact the woman with the baby was trying to help, this woman was either an employee or past employee. So we have a clueless sales associate. A rude manager willing to offer us, the customer, nothing. And a senior manager, older lady blonde with short spikey hair, who thinks playing with a baby on the clock counts as working. This is by far the worse customer service I've ever experienced. So, we cut our total in half and purchased about $100 worth of products. All the hard work Erica did, down the drain because management forgot who the customer is. This is a sad day to not be able to get proper service in a store, especially a store as nice as Forever21. If we hadn't been shopping for a birthday gift I wouldn't have purchased anything. Please take action on this matter. No customer deserves to suffer from employees lack of knowledge and technical difficulties that have nothing to do with the customer. "A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. I read a previous review about frustration over sizes. Yes, I would like to see more large or even extra large. This is a junior size store so it's not realistic to expect bigger sizes. During a shopping trip last week, I was disappointed by the customer service here. Also, I was disappointed by the disorganization of this store. I feel like maybe they pack too many clothes in to their racks and that's why they fall off. There are clothes everywhere on the floor, getting kicked around and getting dirty. Maybe they should have someone make trips around, during the day, that picks up all the clothes and work on "go-backs". You won't be missing out on sales because no one is buying them off the floor anyway. I'm not sure if your store in understaffed or getting incorrect direction, but something need to be done. It's too chaotic and it's hard to shop or find anything I'm looking for. Your purse/jewelry section is the most organized. Anyway, I like Forever 21 clothes so I'll just buy the clothes online.
