I had the best walmart experience today ever I went and bought the $37.98 large pink plastic child's pool with a slide attached. I bought tie downs inside because I was unsure if it would fit. A very nice walmart associate helped me to check out when there was no way I could have put the monstrosity into a shopping cart. Then another guy came to help me load up, Tyler. He was very helpful, not only did he help me carry out the pink monster but he helped me to tie it down to the top of the van with the kids bouncing inside it. He dealt with the horrible straps I bought and helped me out going above and beyond the call of walmart duty. But also he had a great personality and outlook while doing it. I love this particular store. It is a bit out of the way for me. I like this one because they always seem to be the only one that has their hot wings in stock in the deli. Also this location is not a magnet for sketchy folks and homeless pans handlers in the parking lot. Unlike the Lakewood location the employees look like they have taken a shower or bath. I thought the Renton store was the worst. Boy was I wrong. The staff is nice and usually friendly. The issue is the lack of staff. It's 9 days before Xmas and at 8:00 PM they have 4 checkers working!!! I'm leaving my cart and walking out. This is exactly why Amazon is kicking but. Also their prices aren't the lowest. Want to the eye center for repair of my glasses that I got 2weeks ago. They said there is no warranty on the glasses and I have to pay for the noise pads . Will no go there any more , will buy glasses at Costco for my glasses they will repair glasses for free no questions ask. And cost the price or better. read more

Recently they've added door security to force you to present a receipt upon leaving. Maybe they need to put more effort into their loss prevention staff rather than forcing paying customers to show a receipt for items they can't identify anyways! First of all if you call this Walmart the phone rings and ring until someone picks it up on the 90th ring. I go to this Walmart all the time. However, with COVID-19 I decided to do the home grocery delivery. I had a horrible experience with the delivery. I requested that the items be placed on my porch and I had an envelope with a tip in it out there for the driver. The person who delivered the items was very nice (we spoke on the phone).Go open my door and half my order is not there. I call Walmart one of the managers said oh those items are out of stock. However,Walmart did substitute other items that I didn't want to be substituted on my list. So my question is if you take upon yourself to substitute two items why can't you substitute the rest. I understand that some things can be out of stock. However, the item. I wanted most was Coke Zero, I am not picky on what diet drinks I drink. They could have substituted Coke Zero with Diet Coke, diet mt. Dew, diet dr.pepper and the list goes on and on but no that didn't happen.While talking to the manager, he told me someone would call me today at 8AM . Did I get a call at 8AM the answer to that question is no. I understand that people might arrive at work around 8 so I thought to myself that they would call me as soon after 8 as possible. Nope, around 9:45 I took it upon myself to call. Guess what the phone rang and rang finally a very nice lady picked up. She was very nice. She called the grocery manager Cassie twice before Cassie picked up. Cassie apologized and that's fine. However, Cassie made no attempt to remedy the situation by asking if I would prefer substitutes on the Coke Zero. I order things because I need them. I have not bought toilet paper once since COVID -19 started (we were stocked up) so we decided not to go panic buy toilet paper and let things calm down so things could get restocked. Walmart grocery delivery needs to rethink their customer service or should I say have customer service. So here I sit no diet drinks and a headache. Thanks Walmart Mt. I will never go back to this Walmart pharmacy again. I had insurance that will cover 100%, but they charged me and I called my insurance company and verified. next day I went back to get my money back, they said they can't see anything on their computer system and come back when manager is there. I went back a few days later and now they told me that computer shows they put money back to my credit card. A few day's later I checked my credit account but there wasn't any credit back from Walmart. I went back again to talk to them. Now, they side it's been after 15 days so they can't refund me my money. They are theft. read more

Stopped in here after pulling a graveyard shift. Was surprised how clean and well-stocked it was. That's sadly the only positive report I can make here. I used a self serve check out stand (primarily because their cashiers are not only annoying but crass). I had about 7 items or so. The first item I scanned was a 12 pack of Heineken. It set off an alarm and the girl responsible for the self check out looked at me and acknowledged me. She went back to doing busy work. I figured she would finish up her busy work and then come override my scanner for the purchase of alcohol. After answering three emails and two texts, I looked up and saw that she was helping a customer who had just walked into the self check out area. She then proceeded to walk away fast to the rear of the store. Another customer on a different checkout also set the alarm off and was waiting for assistance. We both looked at each other and laughed. We both left all of our items and left the store. Wal-Mart: All the money in the world that you could save me in savings from discounted groceries and crap products made from China will never bring me into another one of your stores again. read more

Jennifer Riley was so AMAZING for me. I was at work for 12hours and forgot that I had my husbands car seat (who was dropping our child off at the babysitters). Babysitter had a appt and REALLY had to have a car seat. Jennifer helped me thru the whole online purchasing and store pickup and even helped me know which car seats was at the store in stock available to be picked up. The customer service here is horrible, I spent a lot of money on items here and the workers there are awful and rude!! Even the associate manager there was a joke. Her name was Trisha or something like that, he didn't know what she was doing, the store was empty and she was in a hurry not to help me at all! Worst customer service ever. I waited 20 minutes in electronics and the busy cashier whom was dealing with a phone issue never acknowledged any of us other customers who were waiting. I have been coming here for years and never had a bad experience but today I was truly appalled. I've been in customer service for 15 years and I don't have the highest expectations for Walmart in general, it's Walmart. Today was truly the worst though, as I'm standing in line loading my groceries onto the counter the cashier Jesse was talking badly about a previous customer TO THE CUSTOMER TRYING TO PAY!!!! Are you kidding me?!?! Apparently this young woman was never properly trained in customer etiquette!!! It gets worse, as she was ringing me up, she was going so fast I thought she was going to break some of the glass containers and she was spinning that trolley so fast to keep her pace that she incidentally knocked it into my hip! Then she proceeded to complain about her hair always being in her face etc. to which i politely offered that maybe she use a bobby pin to help. She didn't even apologize for hitting me with that trolley!! If you see this girl is going to ring you up, I suggest moving to another line with a different checker, I don't even want to think about what she may say about me after I left to another customer. If management sees this I hope they redo her training and teach her proper customer service or move her to stocking or something. read more

I go to this walmart fairly frequently given how close it is to our home. Never really need customer service unless it's to get into the locked up items. The first and last time I bought razors there, I spent about 15 minutes waiting for someone to unlock a pack for me. Today I went there to get a drill bit, which was locked up. I found an employee and asked them to unlock the case, he said someone would be right there. 20 minutes later still nobody. Fooled me twice, guess it was my fault for thinking I would get help the one time I needed it. Waiting 5 minutes, cool no problem, 10 minutes, I understand but a little irritated, 20 minutes and still no help is ridiculously crappy customer service! read more

Singed up for automatic refills on prescriptions and notifications via text messaging. Got a text in evening stating I had something filled. Went following day to pick up. Nothing was filled. Showed pharmacy tech my text the night before and asked why would I get a text if there was nothing filled. No one could answer my question. Having gotten the text and driving there was not just an inconvenience but a waste of my time, gas and limited text allowance. read more

The Walmart store I was working within Spanaway, WA made picking up my orders the worst nightmare I have ever had to work with. I had just been released from the hospital for a fractured pelvis and one eye bandaged making the vision in my one good eye tricky so thought it would be wonderful to not have to actually walk around the store if I used "pick up". Not enough handicap parking for the store size made me walk across a huge parking lot with my walker, not enough motorized carts for disabled people (they had 2). I had to wait an hour for the clerk to locate my items because the person who pulled the order was at break and the only one who knew where the items were. Finally found my items and cleric threw them all in a cart not bagged and no sales slip so I asked how I would prove I purchased the items and was told the sticker on one item was good enough. I asked for help to push the cart because I had a walker, was told I would need to wait even longer till they found someone so I folded up my walker put it into the cart and leaned on the cart for support. Got up to the front of the store and asked the door person about not having a sales slip and after 5 minutes of just grinning she told me she had no clue what to do. It was 2 pm, my hip was screaming pain and there were 4 managers standing around me, none had a clue what to do about the no sales slip so I told them just refund my money and keep their stuff. After waiting another 20 minutes for them to do that they came back and showed me a slip (remember I was unable to see due to a serious eye injury) telling me they had refunded my order. Yup, got home and checked a few days later when I was able to see and they had lied. The order was only a total of 35$ but it was wrong of them to lie. I called Walmart, a female in the Philippines answered and promised me she would escalate my refund and have a district manager call me. Never got the call and took Walmart 2 weeks to start to refund my money, one item at a time. This is not the first time this Walmart has messed up, but it is the last time they will mess up my account. I would rather do without before buying from that store. read more
