I love to order groceries and get notice when it's ready for pick up. I can also order a Starbucks order to come out with my order. Just let them know I'm on my way & check in when I get there. Show my code generated at check in and show the Target associate who loads in the trunk (my choice) minus my Starbies order. So convenient, just drive home and that's it's. I earn rewards and the selection and prices are always great. I can also add backups to my shopping choices. read more

RUDE EMPLOYEE. i went to go try something on today at around 3:45 ish and the employee 40-60s looking brown hair bob was EXTREMELY rude and gave extreme attitude to me when i went to a room to try something on. usually when there is NO line and doors are open that means it's good to go in. she did not have to embarrass me infront of 6 customers when she practically yelled at me that there was a line when there was ONE person to the SIDE with her girls obviously getting herself sorted. i hope she getting fired or publicly humiliated like she did to me. talk to her or i will go to the manager. she is disgusting. read more

Cyndi in the starbucks is amazing! she remembers my name and my order every time i go in. The staff always remember my son too, and make an effort to interact with him! This target has a much bigger selection of kid's books than the other one on South Hill so that's definitely a bonus for us. It is also the only location that consistently has the brand and size of diapers we need, as well as lots of vegan food options. The only downside is they definitely need more security. More often than not, there is someone walking out of the store with a huge bag or cart full of items that they're stealing, and no one does anything about it. read more

My partner and I normally go to the Target in Lakewood but decided to come to this location. There was no one present at the Guest Services Department which is a little odd because how would a customer receive help if no one is present? However, we stopped at Starbucks because we didn't have any breakfast yet and wanted coffee. There was only one barista named Hayden. He was friendly, polite, well mannered, and remained calm when there were three of us waiting in line including my partner and I. When it was our time to order, my partner ordered a feta spinach egg wrap but before entering it into the system and charging us he made sure they had the wrap (some baristas don't do this in my past experience) which was real kind of him to do. The aisles were a little cluttered in some departments due to stocking but surprisingly Target had mostly everything we were looking for in stock (a plus for me). When were checking out, there was only one cashier named Aureal. She was really nice and friendly. Before scanning our items she informed us she will be with us momentarily because she had to grab more receipt paper (she didn't have to inform us but did anyways to assure she wasn't abandoning us at a checkout lane). When scanning the items, she asked if we would like a bag and if we preferred one bag or two bags to separate our food from other non food items. She asked us how we were doing and if we found everything okay/needed. She was patient with us and didn't make us feel like we were being rushed to check out. Overall, the store was cleaned and maintained. But Hayden and Aureal were friendly, nice, and had great customer service in my opinion. read more

I am an avid target shopper, especially at this specific location. No longer will I be after today. I was there with my friend and both of our 2 year old boys today and an employee named Virginia was glaring at us from the isle as we were shopping in apparel. After taking 3 glances noticing she was still glaring at us I had asked "did we do something?" And she aggressively explained that we were "allowing our boys to tear down the pants from the hangers" | looked over to see one pair of pants only halfway off the hanger and we then exclaimed that we would be picking it up. She responded even more aggressively that we will not pick them up because "no one does" which we then responded that she does not know us. She proceeded to get even more aggressive that her body was physically shaking and she started to walk toward us aggressively chewing us out over the pair of pants. I then asked to speak to her manager and she screamed at us to "go talk to anyone we would like" she also refused to give us her name. A girl across the isle witnessed this whole ordeal and as we were waiting to speak to the manager her and her mother walked up to say that she also just screamed at them for defending us after what they had witnessed and that she was calling us "disgusting" we were simply just existing minding our own business shopping with our toddlers and trying to have a good day when Virginia completely lost her marbles on us over a pair of pants.. not only was it unprofessional that an employee would act this way, it was humiliating for us as it drew the attention of other shoppers in the store. She completely caused a scene and made us so uncomfortable that I will not be returning. She should not be working in retail if she is treating customers, who quite literally pay her wage by shopping there, this way. and not to mention that if there weren't pants to pick up in the first place, she would not have a job as that as that us literally part of her job. not to mention that not even 30 minutes later we noticed her back out on the floor after her "talk" what a slap in our face. with all of this said, i called to follow up to see if any action had been taken as this all was completely unacceptable, they proceeded to tell me that due to virginias "safety" they could not disclose if she was let go or not. which seemeed ironic as she is the one that agressively came at us as we were minding our own business, but i guess our safety is not of their concern. i will not be returning. read more

Saw 7-8 people without masks and no staff member said a thing - even some staff members had their masks hanging around their necks, grudgingly sliding them up over their mouth when customers came near. If I could give their customer service a zero I definitely would. I had bought a crib online with Target and unfortunately one of the pieces was broken when I received it. So I took the piece and my receipt back to target because it stated online that they had one in stock at this location. Obviously I wanted to look before hand so I didn't waste anyones time. I asked if I could swap out the piece for the other correct piece and was told that that's not possible and that because I ordered online I had to ship it back which makes no sense because specifically online when you place an order and you try to return an item it states that you can take it in store but the manager continued to tell me that that was incorrect. I was not rude at first whatsoever and just explain the situation. I always Buy most of my baby items from target and I've never had an issue with a return. But the manager decided to give me a lot of attitude and constantly roll her eyes at me while engaging in conversation it even got to the point where she was very loud that security came over and stood behind her acting like I was the problem. Mind you I'm eight months pregnant just trying to get a crib. She continued to be rude and finally said that she would look to see if she had it in stock but then claims she didn't. Even though the website said it was there. I was frustrated and obviously I didn't wanna deal with the situation anymore so I left. The worst part about the whole situation is if she would've just looked to see if she had it in stock in the first place she could've avoided her whole attitude and demeanor towards me but instead she took it upon herself to be completely rude and try to tell me the policies of the store even though she was clearly wrong according to the fine print. We just moved here from Maryland. We enjoy the friendly service here but there is one major issue. The wheelchair carts are never charged. We have been here several times and that there are two carts. Both are always unplugged with no charge left in it. On my last visit I was forced to use a cart with a low charge. It ran out of power in the middle of the store. I was stuck for several minutes. These handicap carts are always parked in front at the customer service desk. Can you please ask your staff to make sure they are always plugged in when not in use? That would make a huge difference in my feeling of security safety and pleasure in visiting target. Bought chromebook for xmas for family. It doesn't say anywhere that it won't work for ipod, etc. Doesn't support apps not Google related. I have 90 day warranty, but it was xmas, so now past 30days on electronics, chat said go back to store of purchase. I called Wed and they said to bring it in. I went today, Fri, and the guest service said no and then asked "lead" who said overrides can't be done and to go to every other target in area to see who has old system to do override. Nope. I valled guest relations 800# and they said they can't only store can n call manager. For the 3rd time I'm waiting to get the runaround and not one consistent answer. Frustrating. Do not buy electronics from Target, you'll regret it. We do. Paid warranty and that doesn't work when we have new chromebook, just can't use it. Then spoke to chat again, then they said speak to manager. Ok, I'm joke again. I call store, spoke to Kaylee and she said she could help. I drove back 4th time rt, 1hr drive and she was there at guest relations, took her a couple minutes. I walked to the back as they only did instore credit. Fine by me. I asked for laptop that uses iTunes and apps that Google chromebook doesn't. Wow, what a headache. The guy was quick and although smaller computer, it was on sale and a laptop. We just need itunes to work and the apps for work n school. Here's to hoping. I don't recommend buying electronics. I gave a 1star initially for the week of headache, but went up 2 stars after working with manager. The other person wasn't a supervisor or lead, but she was there, but left. Sigh. read more

Target is always Target. I mean, if you've been in one Target store, you can be fairly certain how they'll all look and feel. The Puyallup Target is special beyond others, however. The employees are helpful and personable. They take time to be kind and make you feel appreciated as a customer. Too many of these big-box stores have generic, faceless customer service. It's great to go to a place with good inventory and a culture of kindness. The store is on the edge of town; south of Puyallup. So you'll have to brave Meridian, but it's worth the drive. read more

I am new to the area , so I asked around about the "best target" location and this is where I was told to go. I can't say that I was completely impressed with the store itself. Right from the front of the store, the dollar spot was completely bare. I didn't seen anyone bringing out new stock, and have never seen one that empty unless it was being switched over. This seemed to be a running theme through out the store. I went into the women's section next, where apparently there is a shortage of hangers and many sizes of clothing. There were whole sections of items that only had XS or XL in stock. Then when looking at hanging clothes, it appeared there were only certain sizes but really it was just the marker on the hanger. I realized then I would have to go through each individual item to find the correct sizes and not trust the hanger. The baby clothing section was much better. I also ran into to employees in the section that were extremely nice and helpful. The (kids) girls section was much like the women's. Not much to choose from unless you were in a certain size. I have 3 daughters and couldn't find a size for any of them in a particular dress. The shoe section (girls and toddler girls) was also pretty picked through sadly. I would say the saving graces of this store were the Disney Store, and the new beauty area. The Disney Store section was very nice and organized. You can't miss it with the giant Mickey hanging! The beauty section was so professional looking and very upscale! The last hiccup I had was at the checkout, I asked if my items could be left on the hangers. I was busy with my baby and wasn't paying too close attention to the cashier. She took every item off the hanger, I only noticed this about half way through so I thought she didn't hear me. I said kindly " oh you can just leave those on the hanger" and she told me she put the hangers in a separate bag for me so I could take them home. Which is fine. But I asked so that it would save time for me at home to just hang then directly up, and save time for her as well in the check out. It could be something that target is advising cashiers to do for some reason. In summary, if you are going for the Disney Store (which is only in select Target locations) or the beauty section , this is a great location to go to! But otherwise, you may have issues running into out of stock items! read more

For the past few months the conditions in this store have gotten worse. Shelves and products are scattered on the floor and shelves. A lot of empty shelves and displays. Empty or partial food items such as drinks,and containers are here and there on merchandise shelves. Have had several errors at check out. Over all it's just disappointing to shop when the store is so unkept. read more

I've been here twice during the week now and found horrendously long lines at checkout during the day. Sometimes it feels this store doesn't get updated products as much as other more accessible stores, and they don't seem to re-stock very often. I love shopping at target. I enjoy the clothes and toys they have available. I also benefited from their low prices on baby items when my daughter was still an infant. My favorite lately is knowing that I can go there and still pick up a few groceries when needed. I love Target! Lets just say I come to A Target at least 3 days a week! This Target is very clean, bathrooms are nice and clean, and the employees are very friendly. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's a little smaller and tends to be out of allot stuff sometimes. Example: I went to get a certain detergent and it was all gone. Same with a few bath soaps and cleaners. Very helpful employees too! I asked the other day is they had anymore deft in the back the other day and he went back there to check for me! And sometimes there is only one person working but so far from my experience that one person is still quick, nice, and still makes tasty drinks. First off the pharmacy staff is top notch and always helpful. I would especially like to thank pharmacists Henry and Shannon for their incredible customer service and overall caring attitude every time I come in to get my mother's prescriptions. Then to keep on with the kudos...the gentlemen in the Electronics department was a lifesaver. My absentmindedness caused me to leave my new S5 cellphome on the display case when I was asking questions. After I checked out at the front lanes I realized I didn't have my phone. I went to the Customer Service desk and the search was on. They were so helpful and by the time I hauled ass back to the Electronics Department, the team member back in Electronics was bringing my phone up to the CS desk.
