H&M - Back to school - Men's Clothing Near Me - Tacoma, Washington

Went to the store found a pair of pants I wanted but the only size was on a mannequin. I asked an associate if he could take them off for me he said no store policy i questioned why he rolled his eyes at me I told him we didn't need all that and I asked for the manager the manager said nope we put to many hours in to our mannequins we can't it's store policy I asked to see the policy he said he can't pull it up! Love H&M. Went here with some friends on an outing cause it was our last day of school and the cashier )I don't know his name) was checking out people Lightning fast but was polite and friendly. He took only 5 minutes to get me and about 4-6 people in line each of us with between 1-5ish items. Great work. read more

This is a wonderful store, especially if you are looking for infant and young child clothing. The service can be uneven, but I do believe they have started to work that out. They need carts or something so people can put their clothes in a container since there's no room to set them down on the register. The prices are so reasonable! Recommend!! read more

Needed some sweaters since it's colder up here compared to SF. Was able to get what I needed, received help from staff when I had questions, and was even reminded to login so that I could get points for my visit. I always forget to do that while in store so I was happy the cashier mentioned that. read more

Went to return pants two days later. I figured they could look at my transaction with my credit card like every other place and like they used to be able to do. They said they are not able to do that and they can't get store credit either. I have to keep the pants. Unnecessary. read more

Poor customer service on Christmas Eve at H&M, Puyallup. 1st Mislead price tag was placed on top of the rack showing discounted for $17.99 2nd in order to get 10% off, to scan QR bar code, sign-up and press the link and it does not work 3rd The register phone call her management notifying her that the link was not working 4th H&M management did not even bother to come at the front desk to resolve the issue 5th H&M Management says there's nothing I can do for you and said it is what it is over the phone 6th Poor leadership skill and that person needs to be re-educated and needs to get fired. Will never shop here at H&M Puyallup. Staff needs to be sign off on competencies or have proper training and re-educated. read more

I was scared to go to this mall and get my purse with probably only a sad $5 bill snatched out of my hand, but Tacoma Mall has H&M in it, and it was worth the risk. This H&M has sooo much selection! I was able to find so many cute things on the sale rack, it was nicely organized by color and size also making my experience super easy. Usually the sale section anywhere looks like a cloth monster swallow and threw it all up flying everywhere, but this sale section was tamed! They also have a lingerie section where Southcenter got rid of for some reason. Yay for cheap, cute lacy bras! I like how this store has a deal, if you bring in a clothing item to donate, they will give you a discount! What I don't like: this store doesn't have a variety of sizes on stock. It's a huge store, but when my daughter finds what she loves, it's not available in her size. It's sold out! And when we check back, it's still not available in her size, but there's 5 in a large. The clothing we buy here is poor quality, as in, it'll likely fall apart after a few months of wearing & washing, so I don't like spending a lot here. read more

I have a photo that shows the sign on the rack saying $7.00 but if you blow it up and read it real close - it says - "starting at". Isn't that a form of bait and switch? They attract you to a product for a low price and you assume it is what the sign says - only to be charged a higher price at the register - with them hoping you do not catch it. I will say the clerks were very friendly and the store is nice looking but if they are that desperate to make a profit- I will not be back. read more

Shopping bliss! Be sure to ask for a catalog, since they seem to hide them behind the counter instead of handing them out. Great prices, and once you figure out your size - the sizes tend to run consistently. The bras are lovely and the tights stay on all day without slipping or sagging. A bit more costly than average, but they will last you all season. The inventory is the same in the US/France/Germany and Belgium If your are small in frame - this is your next favorite store. If you're larger, you''ll probably leave frustrated. read more

I've been to H&M since I lived in Paris, France. I remember when it was exclusive to Europe! In recent years, this chic and modern store is now available all over the United States. How lucky we are, fellow Tacomers. I wish we were so lucky, really. This store is my favorite go-to, but it wouldn't be if they were the only local H&M. They always have plenty of sizes in stock, and always having an 'average' size in stock is really awesome when it comes to how popular this place is. But the employees aren't going to approach you and ask if you need help finding anything. They aren't going to ask how you're doing [even if they don't care]. They aren't going to let you go in a family dressing room when you have a stroller and your husband with you. There isn't a place to wait with a stroller by the dressing rooms that isn't totally in the way. The children's section is probably the nicest. It's clean. It's quiet. And I don't have summer hires going out of their way to you know.. get out of my way. The employees in the children's section aren't outwardly helpful, but when I checked out, they were really sweet. Last time I shopped there for myself, I bought a ton of lingerie, and they left half of it on the counter without me noticing until I got home. I guess I should just be happy that they let me make the 25 minute drive back to get it rather than telling me I'm probably trying to steal. H&M is kind of a last-resort place. read more

I love this particular H&M. It's the cleanest, most organized one I've ever been to. I also love that they have a street entrance so you don't have to walk through the entire mall to get inside. The employees are always friendly and helpful at this location. The inventory is pretty good, although the South Center one is bigger and might have better size selection. I prefer this one because of how clean it's kept. read more

Eh. I am trying to rebuild my wardrobe with the basics so I got a BUNCH of items to try on since I didn't want to make multiple trips back and forth to the dressing room. I don't remember what the dressing room limit was but I definitely had more than was allowed. Like most places you take the most in at once and have your remaining items waiting for you on a rack outside so that you can switch them out. Well when I came out to switch out the items the employee told me that someone must have put them away already. Ugh seriously?! I literally wasted so much time selecting items to try on. He seemed so indifferent about the whole thing. Don't they have a system for that? Ugh. I just turned around and left the store. I'll probably go back since their clothes are so cute. But beware if you have more items that exceed the dressing room limit. read more

Attention all average size women, you know who you are: SIZE 8, 10, 12! Shop here and buy the larges and extra larges! Those sizes are plentiful here! Yes you may be surrounded by 90lb XXS people that make you feel like Sasquatch, but you will feel GREAT when you leave with a handful (10 to 15 pieces) of clothes for 20.00! Yes, the average woman's secret, H&M! Cheaper than Goodwill, with no bad smells or stains. My best purchase, a silk (Ok, maybe 10% silk) but nice Navy button down collared blouse for $1.00. One of my new fav places to visit whenever I hit up the mall. I am loving the fashion and designs of the clothes here as they cater to many different styles. I love that they also carry men's and children as well, so I can get all my shopping done in one store if I choose too. Pricing is pretty awesome, the sales racks are ridiculous, I have scored some really Great pieces for as low as $3! With that being said I tend to wait on items that are new as the quality of clothing can really waiver, from cheap to good. As always you tend to pay for what you get. read more

Favorite store, hands down. Now if you want to know about this particular store, I'm happy to say that the associates help you if you NEED help instead of bombarding you with questions when you don't (that bugs me the most about shopping, so I enjoy that they don't constantly up sale you during your visit). I'll be honest, I don't get the target H&M audience and I don't think I'm the only one. When I went in today, there were the tweens, teens, moms, and grandmothers all rubbing elbows with me. The only thing I can say is that they all seemed to be finding clothes that they liked. I appreciate the mix of work appropriate and going out clothes. The prices seem decent for the quality and there is a huge selection. I'm a larger size and while not everything fit or came in my size, I did find a few great pieces. I also like their accessories section and bought socks for me, which are awesome, and a necklace for my mom. It is great to drop in while you're walking around the mall or come just for this store if you're so inclined. Plenty of parking at the mall, although maybe not exactly where you want to be. I wish the music wasn't quite so loud. read more

So I'm not sure why everyone flocks here over than four the cheap prices. Every time I come to the mall I somehow get dragged into this store lol. First off it doesn't seem like any of the associated know where the items are located on the sales floor, the racks are always messy, I can never get the stroller through the isles due to all the clothes & hangers on the floor and dear God someone turn on the ac! I hate shopping in a cramped store where the lighting makes you feel like you're in a sweat shop lol. Stop here if you need a cheap quick last minute outfit, but prepared to fly solo and come with proper foot wear the floor is like an obstacle course. read more

I had an aweful experience with one of the workers Brad. I asked to see one of the tops on display but was told i couldnt because it was the last in store and needed to be used for inspiration. This sounded like a sad attempt at avoiding a potentially difficult task there were many other items the shirt couldve been replaced with even and identical shirt with a different Fabric. I was originally told it could be done by Brad. Sad to say i wont be shopping here again and recommended that you do the same. read more

Ive heard about h&m a lot from friends and family but never really shopped here, until now. And im hooked. I honestly feel like the clothes at h&m are way better quality then forever 21 and im pretty sure more would agree. The prices vary and they do have an awesome children section. At this location, the advertisment and displays are not very appealing, but the store itself as a whole is clean everytime i go in there. The customer service is outstanding! Everyone made small talk, greeted, asked if i needed help with anything, and the cashiers were so friendly. read more

My daughter and I was walking in h&m and out of nowhere a my daughters chunk of hair gets caught up in the hanger. Her hair was constantly coming off from the hanger. Buyer beware of hangers for your children. They don't place their hanger safely. read more

The customer service there is down right wrong, bad, and really horrible. First of all, I'm not one for being greeted while entering the store, but there literally wasn't anyone on the floor at all. And when there was, they were rude about even me looking at them. And when I actually found someone, they were all hanging out in the fitting room, also when going out to check out, I couldn't find anyone. And when I did I found someone who looked to unprofessional, literally the cleaning lady was more put together. And also, she didn't remove my ink tag, and I'm really bitter and pissed about that, cause I live in Auburn, and having to drive all the way to Tacoma to go back to a really horrible customer service place to get it removed, and to find out that the same girl who checked me out said she couldn't do anything to do it, and said she wasn't the one who did it. If I were to give them no stars I'd do that, but yelp wouldn't let me. read more

The clothes here is always really cute, at reasonable prices. The problem is getting an employee to acknowledge you, there always with their heads down fixing clothes. I've been here many times but I have never been greeted or asked if there is anything they can help me find. read more

Um... Not a fan at all! The Seattle one is better. This store is so messy!!!!!! I sometimes want to organize the sizes for them! The kids section sucks and lacks so much. Overall I wish they would organize the store more and not jam pack things together. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. This is by far the WORST H&M I have ever been too. The staff was rude and was unpleasant. The managers were the worst. Especially MARVIN. I drove from Seattle which is about 45 mins away from Tacoma to purchase a dress that was only available at that store. I was told on the phone that the price of my dress will match the price at the other stores which was on sale. I had called twice and spoke to two different employees to make sure before I made the drive down south. When I got there not only did they NOT honor the price marked on the tag, but was very rude and unapologetic about it. The manager simply said no even though the tag was marked by some employee. He said he did not know who did this and simply will not honor the price I was told on the phone. As soon as he left, another manager ringing at the register next to the one I was at mumbled under her breath I would have done the same. Then I talked to her and asked her to clarify because from my perspective I drove down being told that my dress was this price by 2 other employees. She said well I'm sorry but I would not change the price either. This store was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP HERE. read more
