I somehow managed to order elastic online from the wrong Walmart. Well, no problem as it was within driving distance and I had some other errands to run in the vicinity. I went to their pick up. In advance you let staff know you're on your way via their app. When you arrive, the app asks which space you're parked in and the color of your car. Once that is filled out, you will receive a bar code to show to the member delivering your item. Staff came within minutes of my arrival. I wanted to go inside and look for something. I moved my car and did so. That would be my suggestion is to have an indoor pick up spot for those wishing to enter the store. They have their own parking lot and Wi-Fi in the store. read more

Every time I come here I have to deal with a manager because they can't get anything right. Today I had a coupon for an item I made sure that the picture of the item matched the item in my hand it denied it nope it wasn't for the day it wasn't for exclusions. The clerk couldn't help me he had to go get somebody else that person told me well I'll do it this one time but don't dry this again as if I'm trying to rip off Walmart for $3. When I showed him that the picture matched exactly what I was buying he didn't care. I asked to speak to a manager and after waiting and waiting and no manager appeared I left and I'm posting here they need to train their staff they need to teach them how to be respectful and how to deal with problems on their own. We don't have a Walmart near us in Chicago, so we had to take advantage of visiting one while out in Arizona. This location is huuuuge, so there was a lot of ground for me and my toddler to cover! I was excited to scope out the kids clothes but they were pretty picked over. I saw some really cute options, but it wasn't very well organized and they were sort of everywhere. We did find a nice shirt in my son's size and it was only $5. Then we wandered over to the books -- they have a great selection of children's book and spent a lot of time looking through them. They also had a lot of tonie figurines to choose from and a sale! We got 3 tonies since my son just got a tonie box and wanted to give him some more fun options to listen to. These are pretty expensive, so the sale was a win! Overall we had a fun afternoon exploring Walmart! read more

It's a nicer Walmart than others due to the location. When walking in, the place does seem pretty clean. Lots of carts available for shopping as well. Their Tire and Lube shop is horrible!! I had a tire replaced and it was leaking air ever since it was mounted (last year), i have been avoiding going back to have them fix it because I have been screwed by them on other services like having a new battery installed and after a hour and a 1/2 plus waiting just to find out that they didn't install the new battery. They left the old one in then charged me for the service. But I had a small emergency.. a tire was in need of replacing so I decided to give them another chance and once again they screwed me over... the tire they said that it was in stock! wasn't, so the next one that was, was about $20. Dollars More but gave it to me for the price of the one out of stock... so since I was there I had them look at the tire that's leaking air and the new battery that was giving signs of dying... so after 5 hours they tell me the battery is good and they replaced the valve stem on the tire, and two days later I'm back using my cordless air compressor to add air to a tire that was fixed by these incompetent boobs. And they charge me for the valve stem that WAS NOT REPLACED!!! I have other bones to pick with them... like a loose oil filter from my last oil change from them. So I have to go back... and have them fix what they should have done in the first place. Do yourself a favor and avoid them as much as possible. You've been warned. read more

My husband tried to return a vacuum that we bought less than 30 days ago. But anytime we have a return EVERYONE is so rude and bitter. They told us we couldn't return the vacuum because we didn't have the box. I never saved the box because on the receipt it states "you have 30 days to return save your receipt" . I have dogs and the vacuum we bought did not work with their hair. It was not good quality and I wasn't satisfied.. however, I live in a 2 bedroom apartment so saving a box is not realistic and I also had no intention of returning it. My husband went to return it and the lady began to start the processes when the manager stepped in and said they couldn't provide a return for something that was over 30 days, not even knowing we were still under our 30 return policy. My husband informed him that we were still under 30 days and he then followed with "well you can't return it because you have no box". He went back and forth with him even thought my husband was explaining to him it just wasn't the vacuum for us. He was so rude and discriminatory. I also find it odd that they made someone a manager with swastika tattoos all over him and we are never one to play the race card but in this situation being Hispanic was probably the only reason he wouldn't let us return the vacuum. read more

We needed a caulking gun. According to my app it was on aside N2. After walking and looking on N2 and adjacent aisles for 5-10 minutes we finally found a Walmart employee. She was on the phone helping another customer but interrupted her conversation to tell me someone in automotive could help me better as they were responsible for that section. I waited my turn to finally get help from Marina. I showed Marina what I needed and told her it wasn't there. Instead of pointing and telling me which aisle and as many employees in ANY store will say, "If it isn't there then we don't have it.", Marina lead us to aisle N2. She too was unable to find the caulking gun. She was baffled as her employee scanner said it should be there. She then asked us to wait while she checked the back. We paced, looked at merchandise etc while we Waited another 5-10 minutes. We almost left, then Marina came screeching by with a box full of caulking guns. She apologized. I said I pictured her climbing a tall ladder. She said she did that and climbed on boxes as the location was not in the right spot . Marina is an exceptional employee who cares about the customer and their needs. She should be Employee of the Year! read more

I have spent thousands of dollars here. I came in at 10:30pm with a printer that was crappy that I had bought the night before. I drove 40 mins one way and I'm about to drive home. No store credit, and no shopping that would have exceeded my $50 printer credit by far. Except I will never spend another cent at this location. The girl behind the "customer service desk". Had two words for me which she repeated 3 times. "We're closed". No apology. I told her I just needed store credit no cash exchanged (in case it was about drawers balancing). "We're closed". It says you close at 11. "We're closed" So rude for no reason. Why was I treated like my business is nothing to them? Cause apparently my business isn't important enough to be remotely polite. This type of stuff is what's wrong with the world and why self check is taking over. Why employ someone who makes situations worse? I didn't get her name cause I don't need to ruin this loser's life. I want to love this location and give it five stars. I'm going to settle on three. Unfortunately, it matches the stereotype you would expect from a Walmart. While it is well stocked and generally well priced, professionalism and friendliness among staff is lacking and cleanliness is also lacking. The women's bathroom Was very dirty, toilet paper on the floors, glue and residue at the base of the floors and tiles, left me questioning overall hygiene among those in contact with food. At the customer service center service is slow and staff don't seem to care about the overall customer experience And are quick to say no despite known solutions to easy problems. Eventually got everything done, but had to advocate for myself to do so. It shouldn't be so hard to make exchanges or returns when items are clearly from their store. read more

I have rarely shopped at Walmart over the years. I've shopped at this one about 5x which would be a record for me at a Walmart lol. The location is very convenient in a large shopping center. This store is very large and I have bought shirts, food, electronics and vitamins. Prices are lower than average but still high compared to dollar stores. There's some issues with service as many of the employees are foreign and need to improve their English/communication skills. Overall, I recommend this Walmart for basic items at value prices. read more

This is undoubtedly the worst Walmart I have ever seen. It's dirty. The shelves are not well stocked. The store is generally filthy, especially the bathroom where it appears, no one has emptied the trash bins for weeks. I had a Walmart associate fulfill an order with one item (ice tea) incorrectly. The receipt reflected the item I had ordered (diet ice tea). When I tried to return the incorrect item, I was told by "Jak" that I needed to come back another time because they were having a computer issue. I came back and was still not allowed to return the item because it was not on the receipt. I tried the third time with the same result. Everybody makes mistakes. I have no issue with receiving the incorrect item. I do have an issue with not being able to return a product I did not order to the store. More over, this "Jak" guy, who represented himself as a manager, has no right to be a manager of any kind if in fact, he really is. It's very sad to see Walmart providing such sad levels of service. read more

Really only one reason for unopened milk to go bad well before the expiration date- it is likely left out of refrigeration for too long when the delivery is being unloaded and put away. Too bad the only light olive oil they have in the store is their own brand and the Pompeian brand. Anything other than these two brands has to be shipped. The eye center inside of this wal mart is amazing..I am 39 and have been wearing contacts and glasses since I was 8 years old. I have an astigmatism in my left eye and I have to go every year to get my eye exam and new contacts and glasses. This place makes it so easy and pleasant years after year..they're friendly, quick, efficient, and know what they're doing. My eye doctor here corrected my wrong prescription that Lens Crafters in the Scottsdale quarter gave me last year that was way too strong in both eyes and had me convinced I was losing my eye sight even quicker for a couple of reasons. And at the end of my exam, my eye doctor gave my insanely hyper 6 year old a little prize for making it through the appointment with me lol! They are great and ive been here I think 4 times now, last year being my only blip in judgment and I still don't know why I ever went there. This is a nice Walmart. Although I've only been here twice as a visitor to the area. I had a cell phone dilemma. My sim card was out. Now I could have ordered one online, but didn't have time to have it shipped. I went to the electronics department here, and explained my situation to the Wm associate. He steered me in the right direction, buying a new sim card, although pricey, but it got the job done. Even let me use the store telephone to activate the new card. Then after I got my phone going, told me the best way to actually use the start-up card toward my monthly bill to recoup my expensive fix. This gentleman went over the top for me.
