For many years now, I have enjoyed shopping at Kohl's stores. The Kohl's North Scottsdale store is one of the two nearby Kohl's stores to wear I live and as such, one of the two Kohl's stores I frequent. The store has great products you can get for yourself, your home, your family, or gifts for others. They have apparel, shoes, accessories for women, men, and children, along with home products, small electrics, bedding, luggage, and more. They have national brands you know (and some you don't know). I have shopped at this location using coupons as well as made purchases online and picked it up in store. The associates in the store have always been helpful to me, and they have gone above and beyond by answering questions that I should already know the answer. They have a great pick-up system where you can save on shipping charges and avoid delivery wait times. They also often offer "Get $10 in Kohl's Cash when you spend $50" and even better deals around Black Friday shopping. This location's hours are Sundays from 9 AM to 8 PM and every other day from 9 AM to 9 PM. The store services include in-store pickup, Wifi enabled, Amazon Returns outpost, and Energy Star. Store features include Draper James, Sephora, Little Co., FLX, and Kids Room Shop. If you go to their website (https://www.kohls.com), you can find items for sale, clearance items, a baby registry, a link to the Kohl's Card, and coupons. Having a combination of the Kohl's Card and the rewards card will save you a lot over the year. Discounts can even be applied on sales items, and you receive a dollar-off coupon ($5-10) each year for your birthday. There are very few places I can get so much for so little thanks to the promotions, coupons, discounts, and even all of this tied to clearance or sales prices. I sometimes even wonder how Kohl's make money, but I won't question that when I get a surprise 40% off coupon via e-mail or a 30% off coupon and an extra $5-10 off coupon in the mail. I certainly recommend shopping at Kohl's! read more

I was on a mission. I needed a new 10-12" frying pan so off to Kohl's to see what they had. I found a Cuisinart dual set pans. It would fit my needs. The only issue is it was so high on the rack that I had to find a staff member to help me. She was happy to do so. I looked around a bit in the shoe area. Nothing speaking to me. Off I went to the check stand to pay. Shared parking outside and Wi-Fi in the store. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly frustrating. About two weeks ago, I purchased a pair of school shoes for my son at this Kohl's. Unfortunately, the box contained two left shoes. It wasn't a big deal at first we didn't notice until my son tried them on this morning. Even though this Kohl's is about an hour from my home, I made the drive to exchange them. The exchange itself went smoothly, and I left thinking the issue had been resolved. However, about 40 minutes into my drive home, I opened the box to double check and discovered they had once again given me two left shoes. I immediately called the store to explain what had happened. While I was trying to explain the situation, the employee who answered the phone, Moni, interrupted me, spoke to me in a very rude and dismissive tone, and said, "Ma'am, I said hold on, I'm going to go check," cutting me off mid conversation. She eventually confirmed they had the correct shoe and told me I needed to come back to the store. Having to make a second return trip after already driving so far was extremely inconvenient. When I arrived, I was helped by the same employee, Moni. I explained how inconvenient the situation had been, but instead of showing any empathy or apologizing, she interrupted me again and continued speaking to me in a rude and unprofessional manner. When I told her I would remember her name because of how I was being treated, she responded, "That's fine, go ahead." Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What turned this into such a disappointing experience wasn't the shoe mix up it was the complete lack of customer service, empathy, and professionalism I experienced from Moni. A simple apology and respectful conversation would have gone a long way. I hope management addresses both the quality control issues that allowed the same mistake to happen twice and the way customers are treated when they come in simply trying to resolve an issue. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect, especially after spending hours driving back and forth because of a mistake that wasn't mine. read more

I used to be a fan of Kohl's but I'm not anymore. I've been a Kohl's card holder for 24 years. Just went to this location yesterday. You can't use your coupons for hardly anything anymore. It's ridiculous. The line was wrapped around like Christmas. Extremely slow checkout. The Sephora store never has products in stock. The shelves are always empty for the IT cosmetics. I stopped yesterday looking for something and of course it was not there. I am not shopping here anymore. I am going to Ulta, it's a little further but worth it because I always can come home with what I need. Kohl's needs to revisit the rules on their coupons as their prices are getting extremely high! read more

Kohls went with Capital One and it's a nightmare. I moved and changed my address right before I moved and the card was sent back undeliverable since it was sent to the old address. I had a change of address with the post office but I never received the card. You would think when they received it back someone would have contacted me. THEY DIDN'T. I called Capital One today to inform them I never received my card and I had to do a verification. Their verification process is HORRIBLE !! I did what they told me to do and the link that they sent did not have a submit button for me to send it to them. On that note I will not get a card from them. Kohls made a big mistake on going with Capital One. I heard other custoner say the same thing, even their associates that work at Kohls. There are other department stores that I can shop at , I can see why Kohl's is losing customers. read more

It's genuinely been over 20 yrs since I've actually shopped & purchased anything from this store. I came here only because they had a box calendar for 2025 that I wanted, that was on sale, & in-store. I found what I wanted, the box banged up & torn but I checked the merchandise inside & found only a few pages were bent & they were the first few that someone would get rid of anyways. No loss. I walked around to see how the rest of the store was & if there was anything I wanted to purchase. I touched many articles of clothing for texture, softness, & durability. I was unimpressed. Unimpressed & annoyed at the moderately high prices. I'm not going to pay a high dollar for something that doesn't feel great & doesn't feel like it will last. I grabbed a couple bags of candy for a friend. One of which was supposed to be on sale but the sales price was the regular price or even still higher than what I'd pay at Target. The other non-sale item was priced like it was movie theater candy. Too high & not worth it but it wasn't for me, so I still bought it. Cashier was friendly but I didn't particularly care for his insistence that I put my phone number in after I told him I could not recall the last time I shopped at the store. When my number returned nothing, his response was, "I believe you." Because you thought I was lying? Why would you even make that statement? The cashier was also an older gentleman, meaning not in his 20s so I expected him to not struggle with the math of cash back. I'm also failing to understand why you'd try to do math in your head & not put the total amount you were given in cash, to include the actual change, into the register where it will actually do the math for you & tell you how much to give back. I see one slight improvement, they no longer have the two screens at check out. One facing the customer & everyone behind the customer & the one facing the cashier. I had a major issue with that system because the screen facing the customer, if they used a credit or debit card, would display the type of card used (visa, Mastercard, etc), & the last 4 of the card. When I brought this security concern to the employee & to Kohl's corporate, they all brushed me off & said it's not a big deal & identity theft or theft of credit cards wasn't an issue with this system. That was the last time I shopped at that store. Today, I see they only have one screen but it's still a very large & easily readable screen. Since I paid cash, I don't know if the same issue exists but I wasn't willing to take that chance which is why I paid in cash. The odds of me returning to purchase or even visit another Kohl's is extremely slim. I remain unimpressed with this store overall. read more

Be careful folks, my experience, that which they advertise as available, it is not! The manager is rarely present, does not respond to email questions, the employees joke about that-,personal experience with that. Great prices, if product present, good luck with that No wonder the C Suite turnover, with more than questionable ethics and practices, translated to a less than desirable in store experience for the customers. Just sayin, my take, my experience. read more

This Kohls has great selection and lots of counters for check out. Darshana who was the manager really resolved my difficult return issues and if it was not for her, it would not have been possible. I recently visited Kohl's on Raintree, looking for a clothing item. Instead, I found a charming selection of household and décor items. I did not realize they had hidden treasures [household goods] in the back of the store. Towels, bedding, etc. I guess I never went that far back in the store. The store was clean and neat. The bathroom was really clean and actually smelled good; there must have been a hidden air freshener. I was there about 11 am on Tuesday, and it felt like I had the store all to myself - nice! I like shopping without the crowds. I plan on checking out Kohl's in Desert Ridge as well. Staff said they have the same set-up except that the Return Department is located in the front of the store instead of the back. read more

We always love exploring the deals and awesome inventory at this Kohl's. We're always warmly welcomed, and often checked on for any help we may need from many of the employees here. Their TOYS section is a bit small, although they really upped this section for the holidays!! This was great for us, as we had found gifts that we were looking for, that we hadn't yet found at other retailers as of yet!! Kohl's - Ridiculous line for amazon drop off. - Department Stores Near Me - SCOTTSDALE, Arizona

Employees were friendly and helpful! Usually has a coupon or a sale. Lots of choices to choose from in each department.

Kohl's came around about ten or fifteen years ago and seemed to be a great alternative to say JC Penny's. The prices were very competitive and now they have recently added coupons as well. All their stores have the same four sided setup so it is easy to navigate and find things. In some ways you see a Target wanna be, since they have added many Food Network produces and star related tie-ins. But, this is a good thing and not a bad thing. In many instances the prices are lower that Walmart's and that is saying something! WOW! read more

Why offer option for Amazon returns if you're going to treat customers like trash? This lady with red, long hair gave me major attitude for returning 3 items which were very heavy to carry to the back of the store. She got mad that I said yes after I returned 2 items and she had asked if that's it. I had a third one that she missed and then she had nerve to say I asked if that's it. Get a different job if you can't talk to people and provide customer service. The manager was nearby and I told him and he didn't seem to care. Amazon and Sephora won't save this company. I'll go back to making my Amazon returns at the local UPS stores that treat customers better. read more

Kohl's is my go to for dress clothes. Sure, it may not be the fanciest but it looks good and it's always on sale. The brands seem to be high caliber, like Van Heusen, Arrow, Chaps, Croft and Barrow, etc. And honestly, if a dress shirt is 40% off, I don't care too much about the brand. Plus, you can literally get any of your basic home needs here. Towels? Check. Pillows and bedding? Check. Vacuum? Check. Even if you want to buy a whole freaking bed, it's here! This location is clean, has tons of sales, and I've always found the cashier's to be friendly and fast. read more

I'm pretty sure this worst Kohl's they own. The staff is rude, can't be bothered to help or even answer a question. And don't even try and return something from Amazon - you'll be met with the same non-helpful, could give a rip attitude that seems to be pervasive throughout. read more

Dear Kohl's, I love you, I really do. I'm brand-loyal to you since we were both born and raised in the glorious suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, However, my affection for you dwindled just a wee bit a few days ago after an unfavorable experience. (sniff!) You got me with the $15 Kohl's Cash along with the 20% off coupon during your lovely annual Thanksgiving sale. Man, I went to town purchasing kitchen, bathroom, and small electronic necessities on Kohls.com. After my shopping binge was said and done, I had earned a whopping $135 in Kohl's Cash. Score! .....Then I went to town again purchasing a cookie sheet and luxury bed sheets for my condo. Everything was fine and dandy as my shipments came in batches (some much earlier than expected--woohoo!) I made an error when purchasing the cookie sheet and bed sheets online and needed to return them. Here's where the heartache came: because $45 in Kohl's Cash was used to purchase these items, I got almost NOTHING in return for them! ---------------------- The moral of this story is that Kohl's Cash is a use-it-or-lose-it situation. Be VERY certain you are going to keep the items you purchase with Kohl's Cash or else you are left with nothing. Lessoned learned......I'll be back. read more

I had a rather unfortunate experience today when returning two items at this (Scottsdale, AZ) Raintree Dr. Kohl's Store's Amazon Returns desk. I noticed when I approached the Kohl-Amazon Returns station today there was a line of 10 people, moving rather slowly. There was only one Kohl's employee behind one of the counters. I engaged another employee walking by and asked if they might get one or two Kohl's employees to help the single return attendant to man the other two return stations. Another Kohl employee called the single Amazon Returns attendant over the radio and asked her if she needed help. She replied back to the caller 'I'm OK I don't need any help.' The Kohl's Amazon attendant then yelled to me at the back of the line: 'They're on a BREAK!' I then replied calmly this wasn't about her [I] but the customers [in line]. Then she yelled out to the other customers in line and presumably myself: 'If anyone doesn't like it, they can go somewhere else to do their Amazon returns!" Then she added "The customer is not always right!." One lady in line was so taken aback that she said back to the attendant and all in line 'Whoah, Whoah there!' I related this to the Temporary Manager in the area then returned to the line. Finally another attendant arrived, and I was attended to by her. The lady at the first counter - who had yelled out her thoughts about customers out loud - said to her customer 'Some people!' Then she pointedly threw a box toward me that landed in the bin two over from her. Wow. As I walked out I asked to see the Kohl's Temporary Manager - the Full-Time Kohl's General Manager was out for the weekend - again, and was joined by the lady in line who was astonished at what she heard and verified to the onsite Manager what I was relating. I think the irritated sales lady was overwhelmed and I have seen this scenario at this Kohl's Scottsdale Store Amazon Returns Station before: Kohl's employees walking around while no or one person man's the Returns Station. However there is no excuse for her behavior - never seen anything like it. She may be better off in another position where she doesn't interact with customers. After reading other reviews here, IMO Kohl's has two options: a) better manage their Amazon Returns desk(s)/personnel/process or b) moving on and finding other (national or local) mutually beneficial business affiliations. read more

Nicole had incredible customer service. Very friendly and efficient. It is so convenient being able to return Amazon items here. Thank you!

Ok, so the high priced items and departments with the huge "sale" or "discount" signs is a very outdated sale technique. It makes people feel like they are getting a "great deal" when in reality everything is just average stuff you see everywhere. And now hearing that Kohls boycotted a certain pillow brand, I really won't be shopping there. Can't tempt me with those kohls bucks! Lol! No thank you, I will shop elsewhere. read more

This location could use some associates who care. I went there last night after receiving a birthday coupon + Kohl's cash. I specifically went in looking for a sweater vest. When I couldn't find any, I asked an associate named Ashley walking the floor for help. She looked like she would rather be anywhere but there. When I asked her for help locating sweater vests, she told me she hadn't seen any and stared at me like I was being a nuisance. After that unpleasantness, I kept searching myself. Eventually, I found a lady in jewelry and asked her if she could help me. She proceeds to call for help, and wouldn't you know it? It's the same associate from before. This time, she told me winter clothes were being phased out and that they no longer carry them. Why couldn't you tell me that the first time? There was no attempt to even look for them, just flat out, "I haven't seen them". I eventually found something else and made my way to the check out line. Bill, the cashier, was very friendly. If it weren't for his customer service, this would have been a One Star review. If your associates would rather not be there, then they shouldn't be. There's plenty of other jobs that won't make you hate customers and be completely unhelpful. read more

Holy crap! I have never felt like a criminal like I did in Kohl's for no reason!!! I was in there buying alot of stuff for my house, some gifts and a few clothes for me and my girlfriend. We were in there about 2 hrs we were buying a lot of kitchen stuff. The whole time the manager was following us and standing there starring with her arms crossed. It was soo weird and she looked like Einhorn from ace ventura. Any way me and my girlfriend went to the dressing room to try stuff on and the manager followed us in there and then told us we could only bring in 2 at a time. Which isn't even the policy . Then after her starring us down we checked out and she went to the register with the cashier and after the cashier would ring things up. The manager would pick it up look in the pockets, shake it, lay it down and feel every where. I was like what are you looking for? She ignored me and smiled. I said "ookkay" then the total was 800.00 Then I chose debit and entered my pin. she grabbed the card out of my hand and was like give me your ID That's when I got really pissed. I told her that she isn't allowed to ask for my id when I pay debit. I told her I would love to give her my ID because she will feel like an asshole when she sees it is me. I told her to give me her corporate number and I wrote her name down. She was very silent the whole time and didn't even ask why. She knew she fucked up. She stormed off but not before I told her not to forget she works in Scottsdale and people spending this amount of money shouldn't be treated like criminals. Especially in Scottsdale where it is expected. The cashier told me she does that all the time. I called corporate and raised hell. This was really strange and extremely extremely insulting. Plus all the stuff in Kohl's you can find at Marshals cheaper, and they carry alot of stuff at wal-mart cheaper also. read more

Kohls is just alright, they used to have a better selection of items in the past. The main reason I shop here is to use the Kohls cash and coupons, but the variety isn't the best. I have to really dig to find stuff I like and some sections are consistently disorganized, like the shoes. I found a pair I liked with no price and no similar shoes, so I asked the cashiers. One guy checked and told me it was full price, $70, after checking online. I looked online when I got home and saw the same exact shoes for $50. Still wouldn't have bought them at that price either. Anyways, being able to use dollar off and percent off coupons in one transaction is great and it makes my trip worthwhile. Otherwise, I prefer other department and discount retailers. read more

It's a Kohl's.... I can usually find somethings to wear at reasonable prices. Occasionally I look at their housewares and pick up some dishes or some linen or towels. On this trip I had $30 in Kohls Cash and a 30% off coupon burning a hole in my purse. I also needed a new vacuum cleaner (which they carry). I find that you are pretty much on your own at any Kohls I have ever been to, as the Customer Service Reps are usually focused at registers. Also I have found that baskets here come at a premium. When looking for ways to get my vacuum cleaner up to the front register I had to suck up my embarassment as I utilized a double kid carrying cart just to use the basket portion to load my vacuum and carry it to the register and later to my car.
