I absolutely love this Marshalls and HomeGoods! I was able to furnish my entire home from this store alone. Overall, I have noticed that Marshalls has gotten more expensive, but still a really good value here. I also love that there's an entire section for HomeGoods that has so many unique items. I also love that I can shop for myself, my husband, and my son all in the same store. They also have a wide selection of beauty products that are brand name for a fraction of the cost. You do have to dig a little bit in the beauty section, but you can find some really great products. Occasionally, there will be a long line at the checkout, particularly on the weekends, but the line goes really quick and there are a lot of associates available to assist. I also love that they have a measuring tool in the furniture section that are complementary. They're usually about 3 feet long and it helps to make sure that the furniture fits in your home appropriately. They also have a section for you to put furniture on hold if you cannot pick it up right away. I also love that products are constantly rotating, and there are always new finds every week. The only thing is if you are thinking about buying something, buy it right then because it could be gone and does not get restocked. read more

On the opposite side, you can find all the home goods. Easy shopping for sure! I looked at several workout tops. The selection was slim in my size. I had the worst experience at the store tonight. A few days ago I was shopping and I purchased some GNC protein shakes. None of the boxes on the shelf were marked. I notified at least three employees, none of which seem to care. I finally got a price for the ones I wanted to purchase, which was $7.99. My son liked the shake so much I went back in tonight to purchase more. Again, none of the packages were priced. They were not busy at the front desk so I took the package straight to the front desk and let the lady know that they were not priced. Them that I just purchased some a couple days ago at which point they charge me $7.99. Another lady came up who is not my cashier and said let me see that, and then she took the box back to where I got it from. I followed her and showed her that none of them had a price on them And she said, "this one's expensive". Then she handed me the box and said you go up upfront and wait for me. I'm gonna check something. So I went back up to the cashier, and waited for her to return. When she came back up, she said, " The manager said this is a very expensive brand. GNC is very expensive, this is $20", at which point I looked at her and asked her if she was serious. She said yes. Even all the other employees around her were like no, that's not right. I then pulled the item up on the GNC website and showed her that they were $12.99 right now at GNC. And she said, well the manager said $19.99. So I told her fine I'm not buying them, but I took pictures, and I will be filing a complaint with corporate. Then she said, "hold on hold on I'll be right back." She then comes back up with another lady, and the lady says yep the manager said $20. It's $20 Again tried to show her the GNC website and she wouldn't even look at it and, said nope it's $20. So I asked for the manager's name, at first they acted like they didn't hear me, I had to demand it, and then they gave me the name "John." I then asked for the store number, which was given to me by one of the other employees. I then asked for "John's" last name, and the lady had the audacity to say "who?". I looked right at her and said you said your manager's name is John and then you just said who when I asked for John's last name, so are you lying to me about who the manager is at this store? And then she quickly blurted out the last name that started with M. So I don't even know if I got the real store manager's name, because the whole time they're referencing a guy and then when I said, I was gonna file a complaint, the lady went and got another female. Overall, I feel like this situation was handled very poorly, and the two employees that I dealt with directly were extremely unprofessional, and could use a lesson in customer service. read more

Why do I love this store so much? So many of the employees are so rude. For instance, today, a girl told me to return my cart where it belongs. There was no indication that I was not going to put it in the cart corral. It was hectic near the corral, and I was trying to get my heavy bag out of the cart first. She should have said, "Can I help you with that?" after I had just spent money waiting in line for 20 minutes with only two cashiers working. In this day and age of online stores for home goods, should be aware that I can get everything I have purchased elsewhere. She is lucky I was in a good mood on my favorite holiday and I love Home Goods or I may have returned everything. read more

Bought a dress at tj maxx today and they forgot to take the ink magnet off... brought it to HomeGoods/Marshalls to show my receipt so they could help me take it off (they have the tool they need at each register) and after waiting in line for 20 minutes (there were only two registers working because everyone else was standing around doing basically nothing.. but when I got up to the register, the lady said I needed to go back to tj maxx so rudely and when I said "seriously?" She said "yeppp " with attitude and I said "okay thank you" and she said "you're welcommeee " so rude. It's not like I was returning it. I just needed the ink magnet off. Also why can I use a gift card at any of the stores but they can't take off a simple ink magnet??? The line is always SOOO long it is not worth the wait and the horrible customer service. read more

I want to love coming here but the way they HARASS YOU at the check out to sign up for their rewards savings program makes me never want to go again! This is by far the nicest HomeGoods down here. We've been to pretty much all of them in this area to try and find paintings. We came in here and the store is massive, and had a lot of other items to choose from. We already have bed side tables and lamps, but if you're looking for some you should definitely come here. It's attached to a Marshall's, which was surprising because usually it's attached to a TJMAXX. It was nicer this way as well because I'm a bigger fan of Marshalls than I am T.J. Either way this has a lot of options. Also, when we bought them they offered to bring our car up and take it out for us. The staff is all very friendly and they keep the store very clean and organized. The area is awesome so ,if you have the time go take a look over in Desert Ridge. read more

It's been a while since I've been in here. Frankly, the overpowering perfumey candle (?) scent makes my eyes burn and itch within minutes. Today I was welcomed pleasantly by a gentleman who held the door open but I soon realized he was a departing customer and the "greeter" was just standing in the entrance silently doing nothing. This store has a lot of cute home accessories and decor items. Right now they have Christmas on sale and I actually saw something that would make a sweet hostess gift. Unfortunately, there were several customers in line checking out and I ended up putting the bowl down and racing outside to breathe. read more

This location may be but didnt seem as large as Goodyear, but I could be incorrect. Funny thing as my husband is thrbone who scored this visit. He picked out a new shower caddy! Really nice location. Goodyear is still my fave. Not for much longer, but their check out lines are set up like cubicals. We came in looking for workout shoes and the shelves were very disorganized. Many of the shoe boxes were empty and some shoes were totally out of place and even dirty like used. Most of the employees were too busy talking to each other to help customers. The one manager looking guy that did come through seemed to only be staring people down like he was security. I was shocked at how low the prices were when I first shopped at Marshall's about a year ago. Then I discovered TJ Maxx & HomeGoods and was blown away again. It's not an exaggeration to say that the prices in each of these stores is nothing short of amazing. I used to shop for HomeGoods type of merchandise at thrift stores, always looking for good brands and barely used items. But I felt like the prices were getting so high I'm the thrift stores. One day I happened upon Marshall's and I couldn't believe it because several of the items I saw were priced either at or just slightly above those at the thrift stores. I never went back to a thrift store again. Also, the people that work here are really nice, they like their store too. It shows. And their holiday items, get out! They are fantastic!! But if you see something you like, buy it! Because it won't be there when you come back! It is ever changing merchandise! read more

I know from experience that if I see something I like, I grab it right then, because it won't be there tomorrow. My home is decorated with a bunch of nice items i bought here. Love the inventory. However, I'm convinced that they don't believe in customer service. I asked an associate if they had a specific dress and showed her a picture. She said if they did then it would be in here) showed me a rack of dresses) I was convinced that she was wrong because none of the other marshals had this specific dress in the random dress section. Anyways, I had to spend an extra 20 minutes searching the store on my own to find the dress and waaa---laaaa I found it. Now I know they get tons of inventory and may not know where everything is but at least try and put some effort. I went to another marshals and the associate called another associate over who knew the store a little better and they were able to tell me no- they are out of inventory. We really enjoy this location since it's a large store that blends Home Goods and Marshalls together. Home Goods has a ton of great finds for decent prices. We found a great collage frame that was ideal for a birthday gift for a friend. This location was an excellent spot for our wedding as well. We purchased a couple of porcelain cupcake stands from here, as well as, a few frames for our cupcake table and guest book table signage. The staff is helpful and friendly here as well. They always have a decent number of cashiers, and putting everyone into one line, so that there is a consistent moving line, is a great idea and works well. Of course, this location can be found in the Desert Ridge plaza, so there are plenty of places around it to shop at as well, making it worth while to head out here if you are looking for other options for shopping / dining. Overall: A Great variety, good pricing, helpful staff. read more

While I'm a fan of other HomeGoods locations, this particular Marshall's + HomeGoods store isn't really up to par. In a nutshell, I blame it on the Marshall's component more than anything else, because while it is located in Scottsdale, where ostensibly there should be a better class of customer, it is many times trashier inside than other HomeGoods locations, such as Arrowhead. This trashiness is evident from the minute you step into any of the aisles, because you'll readily find opened and damaged products strewn all over the place. You'll also find a lot of misplaced product, because the folks working here don't seem to care anymore than the customers do about keeping the shelves organized. What's more, the trashy customers in here, more than any other store I've ever been to, seem to delight in leaving their drinks behind on the shelves in random places. I'm not talking one or two either, I can easily find a handful on any given visit to the store. An empty latte here, a soda can there, they are seemingly on every other isle. Not only do the trashy customers leave this stuff there, but the staff in the store never cleans it up, which only exacerbates the problem. Last but not least, I have to address the clientele themselves. The folks in here seem to be a hodgepodge of bored millennials, trashy hipsters and of course the ever present helicopter parents with their unattended, screaming, misbehaving spawn. Again, I was surprised at first that it as so much worse than less classy areas of town, but I finally realized it had more to do with the Marshall's component than it did with the HomeGoods franchise. Anytime you have discount clothing in the mix, it brings out the real garbage among the "value shopper" demographic, like flies to a freshly laid turd. These people are not shopping there because they're savvy, but because they're cheap. It's basically the same customer culture you see in Walmart, and for the same reason. On the positive side, I have snagged a few deals here, including some nice Stelton branded candle holders (about 80% below retail) and some nice NanDog branded pet beds (more than half off retail price). There are always gems to be found, at least on the HomeGoods side of the store, but it is regrettable how much the Marshall's side of the house brings this location down. Would I recommend it? Probably not if you've got a standard HomeGoods anywhere nearby. read more

90% of the decor on the Home Goods side was broken, filthy, or damaged. Extremely messy with very narrow isles. Everything just started to look like junk. Really disappointing. You need to look at the items very closely because chances are something is defective on it. Also the selection was not anything amazing. They need to spread out this area more to allow better shopping and browsing and so things are getting knocked over. read more

I've been a fan of Marshalls stores since forever and this is one of my favorite locations. It has lots of good quality clothing and home goods at low prices. The store is very spacious, brightly lit and well-organized, and I'm always satisfied with my purchases here, from clothing items to home decor and tasteful presents for friends. As with other Marshalls stores, there are always new finds with every visit. Deals, steals and a whole lot of thrills at this location. This is not your typical Marshalls. This is the real deal to for some major steals. Marshalls-Mega is a huge store that offers clothing, accessories, shoes and home goods. You can find items for your home ranging from rugs, bath room accessories, pictures, wall hangings, pillows, bed sets, kitchen aids, furniture and a little of this and that. Plan on spending some time at this store because there are so many cool things to look at and of course buy. The store is well stocked with perfect layout so your not bumping into customers. Items are new and clean. Since the inventory is huge there are so many options to choose from based on your needs. The hangers are sized accordingly to allow you to find your size easily. They many different size ranges from petite to plus. Men and children wear can be found here too. I scored on career wear today. A specific designer I love had items in the store and were over half the price I would have paid if I went to the designer directly. The checkout lanes move fast. Trust me the long lines at this store look intimidating but they move you through the line very quickly. The little time you spend in line give you the opportunity to checkout the neatly displayed gismos and gadgets. There are some cool items hanging near the checkout lines. From gourmet snacks, technology items, to candles and other inexpensive must grabs. read more

I love Marshalls because of all the great items that you can find there for great prices! My favorite things to pick up at Marshall's are their beauty, fitness, tech, home and kitchen items. I love finishing things that I normally purchase for a cheaper value. This Marshalls happens to be my favorite because of the wide variety of things they have and it has a HomeGoods section!
