Something is sketchy about these stores. I tried to return an item and they refused because somehow the last four digits on the receipt are not the same as my credit card. Why????? The manager Is Not wearing a mask and 2 others don't wear them properly ( around their neck especially the cashier. He told me he has allergies, really so do I. The floor near the refrigerated food was filthy black. This store has gone way downhill. I'm going to shop elsewhere because my health and welfare are too important. read more

Huge variety of candy items, foods, spices, and even a surprising choice of beverages, grocery items, and freezer items!! You can find most of anything needed for your home or office, or just starting out for a new home. For your kitchen or break room, there is dinnerware, coffee cups and glasses, even mason jar mugs, wine glasses and beer mugs!! You can also find many kitchen gadgets and pot holders, vases, table decor, wall decor, etc. Get yourself some cleaning supplies, storage items, shower liners, night lights, Vitamins, and oil for your vehicles!! James not only looked with me, but he consulted with a coworker to make sure we weren't overlooking the 2nd item that we didn't find. With all the cleaning products sold within the store, you'd think they'd clean it every once in a while. The floors are absolutely disgusting and the stench trapped within those four walls is almost too much to bear. Hard pass for me. read more

None of the employees properly wear masks. They also do not enforce the mask policy for customers. A man who was visibly ill - wheezing, gasping for air was allowed to stand in line for a long period of time while the single employee on register was blowing up balloons. I go out of my way to go to this location cause the cactus location by my house never has anything....and the store is fine and all but the lady with the grey hair in a braid is a miserable human who hates her life and wants to make sure she shines her own special ray of sunshine on everyone else...ALWAYS grumpy, ALWAYS rude af, and will call you names under her breath mumbling, thinking you cant hear her.... all bc you adked if her lane was open! read more

I love this place! If your not happy with the cashiers, don't worry as there are self check outs. Don't forget this is a $1 store. Actually, $1.25 on everything due to time & inflation over the years. Things are organized as best as possible by limited staff & yes it gets a little messy in the aisles but what do you expect with kids being able to access everything with a tight budget. Kids are in there buying, playing, putting things back in the wrong places but the staff have done an amazing job organizing to the best they can. You can do your entire Christmas shopping, movie night snacking, on a very tiny budget here. It's awesome & remember IT IS NOT A HIGH END STORE so don't complain. Enjoy what they have to offer on a small budget. If you don't like it, just simply go somewhere else but don't degrade people hustling to pay bills or put food on their tables. read more

Normal Dollar Tree but I have to agree with the other reviewer that said it has a funny smell to it. They always seem to have fun seasonal items and it's easy to decorate an office desk for cheap here. I have never bought the food items so I can't speak for those things but on the whole you'll almost always find something to buy here - whether you intended to or not. Overall: B Smaller than some Dollar Tree locations, but still easy to find things! read more

With many employees at retailers hiding cleaning products, I am thoroughly disgusted. This particular location indicates there were products, but they hadn't been put out... and I'd have to wander the store to locate the shelf stocker. Before asking at the front I searched the boxes around store. I only want 2. I don't want to hoard. Anyway, they declined to help. I have 2 stars because I did get the other items I want for crafting. This kind of behavior is why people are freaking out and behaving like idiots. Shame on you! read more

Had an extremely uncomfortable experience today at this store. The sales associate ringing me up was "Jennifer". Another customer was making small talk with a male employee who was stocking an end cap. The other customer inquired if he was Hawaiian (I guess she was trying to pin point his accent) he proceeded to tell her he was Apache and talk about his Native American background when MY Cashier Jennifer yelled over to him "Oh yeah? You're a warrior right?!", "So you're a scalper?!" In a joking manner. I was made immediately uncomfortable by her insensitive and racist comments. This employee really needs to be spoken to and retrained by HR. read more

This place is not good. I bought a water gun, it didn't work. I bought a pool raft, it was TINY. more baby-sized. Plus it couldn't inflate. The interior smells gross. Everything's LITERALLY dirt cheap. 99 cents, plus 1 cent tax. You may be fooled by the price that it's a "good buy", but go to a better quality store! Walmart is the slightest bit better. DON'T buy the food. I'm pretty sure it's not good to eat. I'd advise that you spend a few more dollars and get something that will be better quality, and will last much longer!!! read more

Pretty small, not very good selection, a tad creepy. I'll stick to the 99 cents store on Tatum. They do have one good thing going for them. Huge party necessities selection. Colored cups, plates, napkins, streamers, and party favors. Also have a great balloon department! good place to buy things cheap... never bought food items from here mainly craft/holiday/gift things. and they have lots of favor items for kids birthdays so you dont spend too much. Bought a few drinking glasses from here and they are pretty heavy and big so its worth the $1 then spending way more elsewhere for the plain ones. They dont fill up regularly balloons anymore and this location was out of helium when i went for my daughters birthday. Just know that they do not do returns only exchanges. read more

Even though there is a mask mandate in our city and county, cashier "BEIJAN" never wears a mask - he has one hanging under his chin but never puts it on. He also never wears a nametag. Had the best experience with the staff at this Dollar Store! Called ahead to see if they had blue silly string (needed for a gender reveal party). I needed a large amount and they were able to round up 35 cans and had them boxed and waiting for me when I picked them up this afternoon. They were so polite and went the extra mile to help me. It's a Dollar Tree, so I really didn't have high expectations going in, and I'm wasn't overly disappointed. It's loosely organized, mostly stocked, and staff are rare except to check out. Not a big selection of items, but again it's a Dollar Store, not Target or Walgreens. I don't typically shop here, and just went in with my wife looking for a particular item (large nail clippers), which they didn't have in stock at the time. I do appreciate that they actually stick to the $1 price tag, versus other "dollar" stores that do not. read more

To my Surprise the dollar tree does not take returns only exchanges! Even if you have a receipt? On Friday I over bought party napkins and plates, I had no use for them so I was returning them. I was told they only exchange no returns??? Well thank you Dollar Tree! I will Donate the stuff and you have lost a customer! Who doesn't love to save money? EVERYONE right?? Show of hands please (pause looking around for hands) if you didn't raise your hand mmmm then this store isn't for you. Let me start off by saying not everything in the store is going to last you years or months or even days but, if your a smart shopper like me you will spot the great items! You can find some Revlon and Milani cosmetics, I have bought a ton of them and they actually do last. What I like about the store is that they carry anything from kids toys, cleaning supplies, school items, like I mentioned before cosmetics, and many many more things. The store in general is pretty clean. Staff is friendly except guy that ringed me up today he wasn't rude or anything just quiet not even a hi how are you? or the typical did you find everything ok which is fine some people aren't talkers like myself. Any who here I go rambling on and on again sorry for that but, yes the store is great and yes I recommend it to everyone. Think of this store like a scavenger hunt looking for treasure. Oh also one big thing that I love about this store is that they always have a theme every month February for Valentine's, March for St Patrick, April Easter, etc. you get the idea and in this store they have it all in one section so you don't have to look around for the stuff.
