Had a terrible experience with this Walmart. My wife goes into Walmart to get a particular item. She rings the item up and a different price is shown than what was advertised. She is told to speak with a supervisor named Heri. He did not know my wife was on the phone with me and that I could hear every word because she had AirPods in. He proceeded to be very condescending about it and wouldn't change it. My wife went back to self checkout to just pay for the item as she did not have time to deal with it. Another employee saw my wife and that she was upset so he began to talk to her to calm the situation down. I then heard the same supervisor (Heri) come back and begin to yell at her. She then left the checkout line to report him to a manager at guest services. As she goes to the customer service line from checkout she tells me he is following her to the customer service line. He then told that employee not to take her report so he wouldn't get in trouble. I had enough of what was going on as this employee was yelling and now following my wife through the store. I left my house and went to the Walmart and demanded to speak with a manager. I spoke to her and she seemed shocked and immediately got a coach. The coach did nothing but gave excuses for the employee and said "he might just be having a bad day" totally bypassing the point he followed my wife through the store, but also stopped a report from being filed on him. When the coach looked at the item it turned out that the supervisor was wrong and it should have been price matched. So Heri literally yelled at my wife, followed her through the store, stopped a report from being formed against him and was wrong about the price matching in the first place. So all of this occurred for no reason at all because he was wrong. This Walmart is truly horrible with having employees like that then giving excuses of oh he is having a bad day. This store is garbage don't buy any Verizon phone cards for your phone, I bought one and scratched the back off to get the numbers to add $40 to my phone and when I did Verizon said that the number is invalid. Well I went back to the store and they told me that they couldn't do anything for me, I even talked to a supervisor, think his name was Joey, and all he did was give me some stupid advice instead of giving me a refund for a fake Verizon card that they sold me. Been coming to this store for awhile but not anymore, also the speedy checkout for people with 20 items or less is a joke, there's always someone doing something stupid there and it usually takes 20-30 minutes to finally get checked out. I wish I could give them no starts ...after multiple bad experiences with customer service I've finally had enough. People just blatantly don't give a shit here. Today was the last straw for me, after turning a blind eye to it for so long I've decided I will no longer be spending my hard earned money here. There's so many stories I could tell you but I'm just going to describe today's experience. I had to call them to find out about a game that got released and if they the hard copy in stock. Simple enough right, so I called Walmart's electronics department, nobody picked up even though the store is open. So I tried calling a few more times, still no answer. Then I tried calling their customer service, again no answer. I tried every single department and nobody picked up ! Then after multiple attempts I finally get through to the pharmacy. The lady there doesn't offer much help just says she can try to transfer me to customer service. I explain to her calmly that I've been trying for over an hour to get someone to help me and it's no use, so could she please maybe walk over to an employee or a manager and let them know that nobody is picking up the phones. She said she would see what she could do and put me on a brief hold and then their phone hung up on me. What a waste of time, is how places loose customers. Walmart never has an employee in sight to help you and when they do see you walking up to them with a question most will avoid eye contact and rush to get away from you. Went thru the self-checkout today. Olive oil would not scan. Bar code not in system. Cashier Supv takes my oil and walks away. Returns 8 mins later...no oil. Tells me theres nothing she can do because it doesnt scan and told me I couldnt buy it when the price and the item were plainly displayed on the shelf. I waited 30 minutes...no LIE and threw a FIT in the store and asked several Mgrs there to let me pay and just leave instead of keeping me HOSTAGE for a $6 bottle of olive oil. I walked out in anger and left all my groceries and pissed off everyone behind me...I had another experience last week in same store when it took an hour to ring me out due to no supervisors knowing how to tender a WalMart gift card. I despise going to this place. I have at least 5 checkers that I avoid at all cost - for varying reasons but mostly because they are so slooooow. There is one I avoid because she rudely pointed out one time that I had 21 items instead of 20 in the "20 items or less" line and I need to make sure next time I had less than 20 items. You know what lady? F-uck You! I stood in your stinkin' line for 15 minutes to spend MY money you this store and I had one extra item. So what? It's been a couple of months since this incident and obviously I'm not over it yet. LOL The only shining star is the greeter - an older bald guy, mustache, glasses... at the southern entrance (toward Lowes for those of us who are directionally challenged). He is so friendly but doesn't waste your time. Some of the stock people could care less about a customer and will literally run you down with their large wheeled carts - on purpose I think. No excuse me or apologies or anything.... it's like Death Race sometimes. A couple of times I had to literally jump out of the way for fear of being hit. I dunno... kind of makes for an interesting shopping experience. The deli workers are very polite and efficient. Thank you for that. The produce guy - there may be just two as I've only ever seen two different guys -- they are nice and helpful. Thank you Clothing - all of them are lame. Don't bother asking a question - they don't know anything. Photo - the guy is NEVER around. Same with electronics. Pharmacy - One woman (large, black) is Incredibly rude - seems she would rather text than help customers or she's on the computer doing something so important that customers obviously are not the priority - even someone simply dropping off a prescription. She is slow and inefficient, rude and seems to never have the right medication. Unfortunately every time I've gone to the pharmacy she's the one that helps me. The pharmacist - I can't understand a word she says... so I just nod and smile and say thank you. It never fails - no matter what time I go - the lines are at least 7-8 deep, 2 lanes open.... at least 20 minutes to get checked out. No wonder people walk out with stuff. I went to Walmart to get a few things. I found Hawaiian bread open on the shelf. I told a Walmart associate about it. He just shrugged and told me to put it back on the shelf. I went to the deli for the deli lady to give me the deli meat angry and in a zip loc bag. I asked money center after making a cash transaction if I could break a 20 with her I don't care what bills. She replied no and could give me a reason why. This was after she got offended for me asking for. 20 back for my transaction cause I mis counted and so did she. Medicine takes forever to get since only one associate has the key. The pharmacy is too scared to called on the PA system for an employee even this there was a bunch of people waiting and pushing the same button cause the needed medicine too. Costumer service here is non existent and the employees look like they ate miserable as well as angry. I came as it was convenient but left in disappointment. Took my car into the service center for an oil change. Service Manager Greg was slightly rude and gave off the impression he did not want to work on my vehicle. Stated "Yeah we can do the oil change but we try not to cuz the weather is cold". Later went on to say it will take 3 hours due to the other cars ahead of mine. Funny this was said just before he followed me out of the service area and started hitting on another associate who was not working that area. Car was completed 2 hours no problems with it. I would suggest avoiding service by their manager Greg due to his rude customer service. Other techs were more helpful. read more

I went to Walmart to change my four car tires, the person who helped me, told me the tires size I needed were not available but in three days they would get to the store. I accepted the terms that in three days would have them ready, I paid for the tires and told me that they will call me. Four days later I visited the store and asked for my tires, I told them more than 3 days passed and they didn't call me, I talked with different managers nobody were available to resolve my problem, still more than a week still waiting for the tires. So pulling up today, saw a handicap parking that I use and saw an employee park there instead and must of been on his way in to work (maybe running late) just park in it without a placard. I ended up finding another one a little further out but the handicap parking stops should be used properly by all. If the employee came out after clocking in and put up his placard that's cool if not then they are using a spot throughout his work shift and that's a shame. Whenever I do decide to do my shopping àt Walmart I know it's not going to be a quick in & out situation..so I prepare myself in every way humanly possible. (Wait, wait & WAIT !!!) The things I Do appreciate is the politeness & helpfulness of the staff the instant I enter the store. Which btw IS the "best" reason I choose this location. BUT !!!(yes a big BUT)... On the evening of Wednesday August 26, 2020 approx 4:30'ish I experíenced the most disrespectful & rudest act by The Assistant Manager of the Toy Department ! After she was told I wanted to discuss a pricing issue.... This woman came out from the gray dóuble door (flagged with 2 men)"Employees Only Area" did Ñot, would Not, out & out Refused to look at me or conversate with me...Snatch a couple of (not All) missed Priced Under Priced items (a child scooter for less than $2 ... Later I found out it was a $69 normally priced) She called for Security to ESCORT me OUT !!!... For trying to help!!... Well I've never!! Well I'm grateful that the security guard was a friendly and understanding person. Yes I was pissed of the way the manager of the toy department treated me... Who does that!!... Well she did!! Well, where should I start??? I guess I could start by bashing on all the negative side of this store. But I am not at least not right now. This store is in a perfect location for me. It is convenient for me & everyone who lives on the eastside of Palmdale. There are a few exceptional people that work at this store. They are always very polite, helpful & informative to me. They go far beyond just a pay check to please their customers. I really enjoy stopping by & saying hi to these wonderful workers. Thanks for always making it easier on me when you guys are at work. Now for the downside of this store!!!! Why do you guys have about 30 registers to check out yet there are only 2 open at night? Then you have those few bad apples that don't like their job & are rude to the customers. My biggest problem is the stockers can also be really rude. To the point where they are almost running you over with merchandise they are pulling out. FYI: if your trying to grab a few quick things late at night, don't think it's going to be quick. Saturday, my mother and I visited store 2950 located at 37140 47Th St E Palmdale CA , 93552 . The cashier rang her up twice for the same item. She actually did say something initially, but the original cashier dismissed her. She confirmed this right after she finished paying. When she told him about this he gave her an insincere apology and told her she had to wait in the returns line because he was unable to void the transaction. In her place, I had to wait for 20 minutes to get a refund for less than $2 for a mistake the cashier made. That is outrageous. There needs to be a way to refund customers at the time for mistakes made by cashiers without having to waiting in lines for 20+ minutes. Not only was this an inconvenience, but had my ailing father had another heart attack or other medical need while waiting for us to come back home it would have been very problematic. I really think this company needs to assess how they handle customer service issues when the store is at fault. I have worked in customer service for several years and never seen such poor service. It was insult to injury to hear the lady in the customer service center tell my mom that she should have checked before she paid, like it was her fault. It is for this reason we mainly shop at TARGET. Photo Center- I ordered and paid for my prints online. Received an email that my order was delayed, so I called Walmart bc they charge twice as much for 1 hr photo. The person on the phone doesn't wait for you to finish a sentence, even if you're trying to speak cordially. Directed me to the photo center phone twice bc no one picked up the first time. Apparently, my photos were ready but Walmart never sent me the email notifying me that my prints were ready. I go to Walmart to pick up my prints and thought it would be easy. I was unfortunate enough to be directed by an associate named Egypt. I went to her bc she asked an older woman and her son if they needed help, to which they responded NO. Well, I waited patiently for her to be done with the useless conversation she was having. When she was done, she did the whole I'm not going to look your way (even though I know you've been waiting) things so I had to catch her attention. I told her I came to pick up some pictures that were paid for and ready, instead of helping ME real quick she directed me to the long cash register line and told me to get in line and a cashier would help me out. Egypt is definitely an expert at wasting damn time bc the customers did not want help and they didn't ask her to do anything. What was she going to do? Go check the back for some lights that the people that didn't need help we're not going to buy. So, I complied and got in line. But tell me, what is the point of paying online if you're going to have to wait in line at a cash register!??? Went to got get paint. Waited half an hour to get someone to help us. When the "paint guy" came in-he smelled like he had been rolling around in marijuana for a week. Disgusting. When you try to return anything they treat you like a criminal-maybe because most of them are???? All I can say is that the management in that place is just as bad. Employees always reflect what they are taught and use those tools to provide exceptional customer service-or in this case-the worst customer service you can imagine. TLDR: This location is rude and incompetent and take no accountability for their institutional failure. They have stolen $150 and refuse to process a refund. I encourage and advise consumers to shop elsewhere. I have had many failed transactions with this specific Walmart location, let's just start this week. I order for side pick up scheduled 10 am, on arrival I'm notified they are still fulfilling orders from 9 am and left waiting for an hour and a half. Now we get to today, I order for delivery, as I have experienced the incompetence of pick up. I received notice that my order has been delivered, which was false. I contact customer service for them to tell me my delivery has been delivered. Until I state I have several surveillance cameras that can prove no delivery, then they decided to work with me. After speaking with several Walmart representatives stating "Walmart will also be out $150", they will "escalate" this issue and Post-mates is to blame. With an annual revenue of 524 BILLION dollars, I don't think my refund will affect stockholders. I request that my order be canceled and my money refunded. I was notified that my refund has been approved by his supervisor and should be receiving an email confirming. At the time of writing I have been told my refund is not processing, no confirmation sent and contact needs to be made at the store level for approval, that's not escalation that de-escalation. Now they have $150 and have rendered no goods or services, where I'm from that's called theft. I don't write reviews, however, I would like to spare consumers of having to deal with what I've been calling the institutional failure of Walmart. On a funny note, when starting this review I saw it's already rated pretty low, it's good to know I'm not the only one this Walmart has done wrongly.
