I wanted to buy holiday decors and I thought of 99 cents store. I knew I will be able to find a lot. And voila!! They have an aisle full of it. It took me forever to decide. I am impressed that the store is fully stocked. Just the setback is that they only have 2 registers. So the line was very long. The sales associate who rang me isapologetic and helpful though. And most of the prices are $1.29 and up. read more

EVERY TIME I Come in here at the Palmdale location, there is always a line. That's good for them, but crappy for customers because there is only one checker, but wait... during holidays they might put on two, oh by the way they have at least six check stands. That's not all. I love all things a dollar. Even though a lot of items here are not 99 cents ONLY anymore. 99 cents stores have come up in the past years and even though things are not all priced at 99 cents, they are still great deals. They carry a lot of name brand items now and even their own Momentum brand has some pretty nifty items. I'm a rummager and I like looking at random things, if time permits, after I go and pick out what I specifically came in there for, and it never fails... I almost always walk out of there after an hour of walking up and down the aisles, with at least 30 or more items that I could probably live without, but still use. read more

Love this 99 so much better than the dirty, crowded one on Palmdale Blvd. This one is clean, has plenty of parking, wide aisles and is so much better stocked than the other Palmdale location. They also seem to receive the better products over here. Since I now come to Aldi weekly to do my shopping I stop in on my way home. read more

It's a pretty big store, clean and organized. Only thing is, is that it can get very crowded during certain times of the day and holidays.

The Manager jenny was sooooo rude wow.. Ok so first I'm in the restroom washing my hands and a lady walks in,goes to a stall,flushes and walks right out without washing her hands which is gross as is so then we are done shopping, get in line with a very nice cashier. She called the manager for the girl in front of me and because someone was in the phone for her. Not only was she rude to the customer on the phone but she was rude to the young girl in line, I look at her name tag (jenny)who was the lady that didnt wash her hands and she walks away so I ask the cashier who that was and she said the manager. Today I shopped at the 99 cent store off of Rancho vista. Not only is the staff great but a clean store it is. Not only are the prices great but much cheaper then a market! I wanna also say that one of the manager Mr Charles is always working hard and keeping up on thing's. Not only dose he know his job but a very nice man at that. Can't go into a 99 Cents Only Store with high expectations, but there is very little wrong with this location. It is relatively clean, mostly organized, the staff is friendly, and of course, the prices are filthy cheap. It's a great stop for quickie purchase needs, like a ceramic plate to put under a plant pot, or an emergency bottle of Kikkoman Soy Sauce, etc. read more

Worst customer service! I called the store to check if they carried a product the clerk by the name Lupe was so extremely lazy acted as if she was checking to see if they had the product even made me spell out the name and keep me on the line for 15min just to tell me no we don't carry i!t I re confirmed with her, she stated no we don't carry that product! As a loyal customer I know they always carry that specific product! I decided to drive 20min just to find out I had been lied too,the store had tons of the product I was looking for! I had to bring it up to the store manager "crystal" hoping that she takes disciplinary action to train her staff not to lie to customers and know where the products are located! It was very frustrating to have this type of employees that don't care about their job! If they are so unhappy they shouldn't be working there!!!! read more

Come here atleast twice a week. Great place for munchies :) and the cashiers are always very helpful.

It seems some of the checkers only like to help Hispanic customers when the lines get long they go up to Hispanic customers and move them into their line when there's people in front of that seems of a prejudice I just was at the store and they opened up at Wayne and took Spanish customer The checker said that they wouldn't help me after I moved into their lane so I had to go back into the original one I was in that doesn't seem right I think corporate needs to know what they have several employees that are prejudice I hope it's not their company policy this is like the fourth time also I phoned customer service took care of the problem read more

I really like this store more than those Dollar tree stores. It has a lot more choices to choose from. They sell fresh fruit and vegetables. Place can get a little dirty but what do you expect on a discounted store. The lines do get long but cashiers do work hard to get the lines shorter. My reason for 4 stars is that sometimes it smells funky in the store. read more

I always come here to buy little necessities that I need. I grab a cart and put my well trained small breed dog in there. (Like I have done many times before) NEVER have had an issue. I'm grabbing the few things I need going through the iles and shopping calmly with my dog in the cart. I also see another shopper with their dog in the cart as well. Then make my way to the front to pay. Still my dog is very calm and not bothering anyone. Then when it's my turn the cashier tells me "ma'am your dog can't be in the cart" so I take him out just like she asked me to. Start putting my things on the register so I can pay. Then with attitude in her voice tells me "that is a service dog right!?" I just looked at her.. I stayed quiet for a moment because at that point she was making me angry. And I told her very calmly "Look, can you just let me buy my things and I'll get out. I'm already up here paying and no one has ever told me anything before". Then she looked at me with this face like she couldn't believe I had just told her that. I didn't look at her name tag cause she had made me so mad I didn't even want to look at her. But the receipt says CHANTEL at the very bottom. I didn't appreciate how she gave me an attitude. And if dogs aren't allowed in the store.. Then their should be a sign put up.. because I didn't see anything that says not animals allowed. I see people bringing in dogs all the time.. And they sure don't look like "service dogs".. They look like street dogs. Besides that experience, I enjoy coming to shop here. read more

Its OK but not great Service-its friendly quick easy Store-the store looks great clean(very clean) employees are helpful great attitudes just good Prices-prices are OK for the items themselves the price is low the items are crappy(that's how it should be right?)and most items are just imitations(I've done a taste test) Overall- dispute that these findings I still shop because even thought the item are imitations they're good.
