I haven't been here for years, but I went last weekend, while we were in town. This is hands down my favorite B&BW location. The staff are helpful but not overbearing and actually know what scents are in each item. (I had someone at my now local B&BW tell me I "Could look it up on the website"). They also added a discount for me manually that had not popped up in my email and offered free plastic wrapping bags with bows if they were gifts. The manager of the store was also training a new employee and she was being very gracious and explaining how to deal with customers. This small location is top notch! read more

Literally the worst customer service. Usually when you go inside Bath and Body Works the employees greet you. No one greeted me this time no problem, so I'm looking around for hand sanitizer. I only see one little small bucket of hand sanitizer. I see two employees one I believe is the manager, and another employee. I ask them if there are any more hand sanitizers. The women who appears to be a manager, looked at me and looked down back at her papers, the other lady just stared at me. I laughed because, they didn't respond to me at all which was weird. The employee then said what scent are you looking for I told her any scent and she then showed me the hand sanitizer. The lady that appeared to be the manager did not speak a word at all to me, and completely ignored me, horrible horrible, horrible customer service. Just moved to Palmdale, I was happy to see that bath & body works is near by. Came in one morning and I was pretty surprised I was the only one in the store. But it seems like all the girls that work there were pretty busy talking to each other. Never got a greeting, or a can I help with anything... Which is weird because I love shopping at bath & body works every location that I go to everybody's pretty nice, helpful, welcoming. Not here everyone was pretty busy talking to each other. When I was finally ready to pay, I stand in line for about 2 minutes because of girls and the cashier were talking to each other. Pretty much this experience really sucked. read more

I came here twice these past few weeks and the employee named Fallon (I believe thats her name) was AMAZING!! She deserves a large raise! Always attentive to those who come to the door, very helpful, knows the store in and out, the smell of the fragrances you're looking for, communicative, super nice, and overall incredible worker. I cannot express how great she was, I was observing how she was with other customers after helping me and she was amazing, treated everyone the same with respect and positivity! Normally I have a great experience at this location. Today I went in and was greeted by the worker up front. Super sweet and helpful. As I'm waiting in line to pay, one of the associates has a full on Starbucks drink behind the register and she's just sipping it and leaves it behind the cash wrap and walks away. With COVID and all of the health guidelines that have been imposed on retail stores I thought that was extremely gross and negligent to allow drinks on the floor where there are customers shopping. I searched for a specific halloween candle holder as a gift for my daughter. She wanted one but couldn't find one. Many of the Halloween items are limited editions and gain in value I was told. Sadly there are a number of news reports online about the store employees buying them all and reselling for a profit online. When I found one available at the unscrupulous Palmdale location, I bought it online and paid by credit card. They charged my card and were to hold it for pickup. It is an 80 mile round trip for me. Just two days later someone at this store refunded my money and most likely bought it themselves or sold to a friend. They lied and tried to say my card only had a temporary hold on it but the money immediately came out of my account. Then they refunded my purchase so they could steal it. Temporary credit card charges dont take the money out of my account. It would just put a hold on that amount. They would not have to issue a refund for a temporary hold amount. So two days later someone stole it and refunded my money. I understand if they are holding an item for a day or two waiting for the person to come in and pay but I paid. Someone at that store needs to be fired for stealing my daughters gift from me. The Palmdale, CA location appears to hire lying and cheating managers and employees. Dont trust them! I'm waiting to here their lying response. They said I took to long to pick up a prepaid item. 2 days? Really you thieves? read more

Bad costumer service. One of the lotion didn't have a sample to smell and got yelled by a sales rep not to open them. How am I supposed to smell the item. So I can touch anything but don't smell them but everyone is open spraying perfumes. They are not sanitizing the try me samples bottles but you can touch anything but don't smell anything. Will not shop at bath and body works again!!! read more

I've been debating on writing a review because we have to be greatful we don't have to drive to the mall and it helps are local economy, but for the 5 times I've been in this store 3 times they've been out of my favorites. Horrible horrible horrible I have been shopping with bath and body Works for over 15 years and have always received amazing service for the exception of this location. I went in and tried to use a coupon and the manager in charge was so rude and said I couldn't use it i get it sometimes some coupons are not valid in store however I had used one like that before but regardless it's the delivery on the message. She treated me like I was trying to steal from her so rude and unprofessional she basically told me if I had a problem with it take it up with there coorparte office really???? I saw the hours on line that said they close at 9 today, Saturday. It's cold but I wanted to shop and drove 20 mins to get to the store for the Big sale that ends today. I arrive before 9 pm and doors are locked. Customers still inside . Manager says the posted hours are 8pm and she is not responsible for the on line info! She shut the door in my face . I called the mall location and they said they too were closed but could take a phone order and I could pick up tomorrow ! Great customer service at the mall location! I won't come back here to the 46th street store. I have never had good service here but the location is easier. Never again that's for sure. read more
