Stopped into Michaels while my car was charging and was impressed right away. Staff was friendly and helpful, with people on the floor ready to assist. I headed back to look at picture frames, browsed around, and even checked out the restroom, which was clean and well maintained. The store itself looked very organized and fully stocked. Wide product selection across the board frames, crafts, home décor everything was easy to find and well presented. Customer service stood out, and the overall experience was smooth. Employees did not want to help me at 5:55pm because they closed at 6pm. I get it that you want to go home, but the store doesn't close at 5:55. The posted hours are until 6. So if I'm in the door before then, I should be helped. I drove 20 minutes for nothing because the employees here are clearly lazy. read more

This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had!!! I would like to give them no stars... I walked into looking for some glass jars for my daughters birthday party... I go to the section and they had some really cute bowls with a lid on them, they looked like little cookie jars, looked at the price and it said $3.49 awesome I double checked the description to make sure I wasn't crazy and it said "circular glass bulb" so I grabbed six from the same section! I kept walking and I found two more on the clearance wall but somewhat scattered so I assumed they were just placed there incorrectly. I grabbed them also. I went to the cashier and when she scanned them they rung up for $12.99 I politely said oh no these said $3.49 on the shelf she said "give me a minute I'll ask my manager" I heard her over the walk-in say Sonia can you go check... and a few seconds later she said no these are $12.99 I then asked if it was okay for me to just go show her cause I did grab all the ones on the shelf. And I started to walk over there. The "manager" wasn't there yet so I waited... when she arrived she immediately had a harsh tone and said "where did you get them from, here?" I said yes but I grabbed all the ones you had so there's clearly no more there and she said "there's no way you grabbed them all from here they wouldn't even fit here" I looked at her and told her yes I grabbed six from here and two were in the clearance... she said "no, there's no way you didn't get them from here" by now I've had even I turned and said "what's with the attitude. There is no need for the attitude." Manager : " I have no Attitude im just telling you, you didn't get them from here." Me: "why are you screaming at me, okay I'll put them back that's fine, but they were here" manager: well someone must have put them there because that's not the price" me: okay then someone should do their job and put them where they belong. And there is no need to give me attitude calm down" manager: "your giving me an attitude" me: I'm matching the energy your giving me" at this point it was a screaming match and I was so upset I started shaking I just said I'll put them back that's that. And she walked away saying "have the day you deserve" like what the ****" i was in shock. If anything should I be one upset. She told me that I was trying to get something that's worth 12.99 for $3.00... I wasn't trying to do anything that's the price that was on there!!!!! I proceeded to grab the other stuff and went to the register I asked the cashier what was her name and she said Karla so who know if that was her name. But I wished I would have insisted that she check the camera to look at where I got them. Because she acted like I stole something and treated me like a liar! Who knows if that was her name but I will never ever go there again and when I tried calling the store it immediately hangs up on you! read more

I haven't been to this location but I called them to see if a few items were in stock since I wasn't able to order online due to it being a seasonal item. I have to say, Rebecca, who answered the phone has awesome customer service skills. Unlike other reps who answer the phone for the store, they normally sound rude, impatient, short... basically zero customer service skills.... the demeanor other portrait was "you're bothering me"... and IMO, we are the reason they have a job. Back to Rebecca.... she checked in on me less than 2 mins, thanked me holding and explained what was going on. Luckily, they had what I needed in stock and is holding it for me to pick up. I hope Michael's management reads their yelp reviews and gives Rebecca a big kudos. She is an asset to the company and any others, if pursued. read more

This store is my weakness because their is always a reason to get crafty! I love to decorate around me during certain seasons/holidays. I love making my own cards and this store has plenty of paper!! I also enjoy making my own flower arrangements! I've even gotten a few compliments from fellow customers and employees suggesting I take my hobby to the next step :o anyways, let's not forget the glitter so we can make everything sparkle!! :p basically, (nearly) everything you need !! I go here only because it's the best selection in this valley for oil paints. But always check for their 40% of coupon before you go. They are overpriced otherwise. Customer service is also lacking here. One day it took 5 requests for service to get someone to help me. There's ALWAYS a line at the register. What makes it more frustrating is while you're waiting in line you'll see other employees wandering around aimlessly. Also, their low budget art supply brand, Artist Loft, is really low budget. I don't recommend most of those supplies. Really wish we had a better art supply store in this town. read more

Ok selection of scrapbooking supplies, but everything seemed really picked over. Clean bathrooms, but the paper towel holder has been broken for several months... wonder when that will get fixed. I had such an amazing experience on 11/11/2018. I had such a nice employee named Daniela help me out. I was looking around when I approached her and she told about all the holiday specials and was just fantastic. This place is consistent, every time I have shopped in this store it is the same, no one to help on the floor, one person checking and a long line of customers waiting. They better up their game because with the new Hobby Lobby and Joann's down the street there is not much reason to shop at Michael's, they have higher prices and lousy customer service. read more

I successfully found two of the five items I was searching for this morning. That is pretty normal for me. They could restock a bit more often, but I am usually after more "fine art" items than the crafty stuff. Coupons always a win. The cashier and one of the associates on the sales floor actually sounded friendly today. That is new! The other three associates just looked right thought me several times - that is de rigeuer for both Michaels stores in this area. Apathy must be a requirement of new employees. read more

I would definitely love to speak to somebody above Liz (Manager). If I could give this Michaels a zero star I would I came in today to purchase some lanyards that were on clearance. Liz clearly saw the Lanyards were labeled on clearance Because she was stopping by when I was choosing them. As I came to the register sales person Celine was a little upset that the lanyards were marked down and there were buy one get one free she didn't know how to do the whole process so she had to Get Liz's assistance, After multiple attempts Liz finally came to the front so that she could help her how to appropriately ring the buy one get one free lanyard process. As I'm at the register Michelle another manager is on her way out and Liz has to check her purse not knowing that I was listening to the whole conversation about her talking about how stupid I was trying to purchase those lanyards basically she badmouthed me. I confronted her and I told her I heard what you said. Liz kept going and going and going and making a scene while other customers were there she didn't wanna except my coupon and I asked her Why? And then she said it's only $1.50 off!! really why would a so call manager say that?? you're a sales associate I am the customer! Anyway I would love for somebody maybe a district manager call me because her behavior is not excitable or appropriate. read more

love, love, love this store. I purchased 3 posters for Christmas gifts and took them in for custom framing. I had received 2 of the prints and only had the dimensions of the 3rd print and ordered frames for all 3. When I brought in the 3rd print we realized the dimensions were not correct. It was not Michaels error but they did everything to get the correct size matting for me so I could have the pictures in time for Christmas. The pictures look amazing and I would absolutely recommend them for any custom framing. Thanks again for saving Christmas. read more

I don't come here often but when I do it is usually for one or two items. They typically have one cashier which I understand but there were 10 people in line and no one was called up to help checkout until we (some of the customers) complained. read more

This store is under new management which is awesome. Very friendly service, clean, well-organized, despite customers who remove items from packaging or don't return items to their proper place. If something is sold out or not carried, the staff makes an effort to find it for you ASAP. read more
