Not only that they are selling second rate toilet paper and paper towels, these aren't the regular toilet paper or paper towels that is normally for sale! Walmart is aware of this crisis yet they pawn off less than satisfactory supplies, where is the Charmin, Great Value, Angel Soft toilet paper and Bounty paper towels? I try to avoid this store as much as possible but with limited options on the East side of town, I occasionally have to give in and shop here. To further avoid stepping foot in the store because it gives me the ick, I started using their order online and pickup service because I'm often under crazy deadlines for my job and need sewing supplies. It never fails that they waste my time and give me the wrong items upon pickup. Alongside that, they won't cancel an order or return it while I'm literally in the parking space explaining that it isn't the item I ordered and no alternate option was appointed through the app. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

My last post was from 2015 --- shows you how often I go to this Walmart. Anyhow, I placed an online order the morning of 3/23/19. Got a text that the order was ready for pick-up anytime in then next 7 days. I stopped by two hrs after getting the text and the customer service rep couldn't find the items in none of the cabinets after they had just said come and pick it up. When I told them to cancel the order --- They claim they couldn't cancel the order I needed to cancel it myself..so I got home to see a message they are processing a cancellation because I didn't pick up the item. And so it begins... reviews in Palmdale. I decide to order a poster print at this Wal Mart because it would be more convenient to pick up while I'm in the area than to pick up going from my apartment to the nearest Wal Mart down there. My order confirmation said the print would be ready by 1:27pm. I come in at 4:30pm and they still haven't printed it. No biggie, the clerk said it would be printed in 5 minutes. Ten minutes later, it wasn't ready. It was finally done 20 minutes later. When the print comes out, there are ink mark from the printer on the picture. I ask them to print another one, which she was more than happy to do so. However, the other clerk said "oh it's nothing, you won't see it when it's framed." Umm, I have frames with glass.... and glass is clear, so yes you would be able to see it. Ten minutes later, it's printed again, but with the same ink marks. Both clerks claim that it was on my original picture. If it was, then why is there also ink marks on the excess poster paper, next to the print? That does not make sense. I made my argument and was able have the clerk comp me the two poster prints, a value of $10 each. Now I have two of the same picture from Barcelona! So what was suppose to be a quick pick-up at Wal Mart, ended up to be an hour stop. read more

I'm pretty sure everybody is with me when I say that I have a love-hate relationship with Walmart. I love that it's everything in one place and that prices are somewhat reasonable. But, I absolutely hate the lack of customer service, the lack of staff and support which in turn makes the employees on shift have an understandably less than pleasant attitude, the fact that literally everything is locked up and there's only 1-2 people in the store with keys, and the whole self checkout thing where you're forced to scan and bag your items then god forbid you make an error and you're now being treated like you're stupid by the employee in the checkout area who is so damn agitated that they have to help you or even worse accused of theft by the receipt checker at the door. You have to mentally prepare yourself for a trip to this store. You have to dig deep in your soul and find every ounce of patience you have so you don't lose your mind. I absolutely hate this place but the convenience of everything under one roof and the somewhat reasonable prices brings me back every time. read more

If I could give this place a 0 star I will with no doubt I have been a customer in this store for years I rarely return an item to them last week I went in to return my heater that I bout two weeks ago but didn't have a receipt I lost it the girl told me I need your id I gave her my id then she said your id doesn't work it's invalid and started to complain bla bla my California id expires in 2027 so I don't know why it didn't work probably it's their new stupid policy so people would not be able to return the item they will just say your id is invalid anyway I went in today I got my mom with me to use her id then the rude and unprofessional manager said I am not gonna return the item I want the receipt I told him I don't have here is my mom id and then he yelled at me in front of everybody and say I am not returning the item cause it's above 50 dollars today I told him I brought the item for 49 just give me the money I paid for I don't care if it's on sale today or it's not I will just get what I paid for so basically they didn't return the item which it doesn't work properly and last week girl was returning the item but her excuse was my if I wasted my money on item that is trash never going their again I would rather go to target and buy from them at least they return with no hesitation so basically Walmart is big scam they sell item that doesn't work and they don't return it scammers read more

I was in the makeup section at Walmart and this lady employee asked me to take my shopping cart out of the aisle. I said OK I will go out right now no problem, but there was somebody else blocking the exit so I waited, the employee speaking out loud but I knew she was @ me saying, "the lady here needs to take out her cart, I don't know her name I don't even know if she has a name". Ya know, in life, like in a lot of things, you have to pick and choose your battles. Walmart is one of those kind of things. If you go to Walmart at 5:30pm on a Friday then you should expect and deserve to be assailed by the masses, almost get in a wreck, and have the "Walmartians" try to drain your brain while you wait in endless lines feeling like you're trapped in some kind of purgatory, if not hell itself. After all, you signed up for it... But, if you have the luxury and intelligence to go on a weekday (Mon - Thur), mid-week is best, at between say 10am - 2pm, then, as Disney says, "It's a whole new world!" You have access to a Super-Store with everything from groceries to small appliances to 3-D DVDs, etc. You get the picture. And it goes on and on. It's almost like being in Willy Wonka's Factory without a whole lot of Oompa Loompas crowding you and taking you out of your zone. The parking lot is dangerous. Extremely dark. I won't be surprised if someone gets hit by a car or mugged. I tried reporting it to a store manager but got the cold shoulder. I tried calling and the reps who answer the phone are so unprofessional and take it as a joke. They'd put lives at risk for the sake of saving a couple of pennies on their electric bill. This review is for the grocery pick up. They are usually very nice. You have to watch them because they do not usually take the cars in order or ask who was there first. Even if you check in they are not sure of the order of cars. If you call the telephone number posted at grocery pick up no one ever answers. They try to get your orders out as quickly as possible but that's usually impossible because there aren't enough people working back there. I have been there several times and there is only one person getting the groceries inside and one other person handling customers outside. There are always more than five cars waiting so you may have a 20+ minute wait to get your groceries loaded. read more

Was pulled aside and was lectured about not working with motivation during Christmas which I was because of exhaustion work by myself in the seasonal and garden so was required to clean and maintain those areas with about 50+ customers all with children constantly making a mess with no assistance whatsoever. 0/10 would not recommend working here. read more

employees are never helpful here in general, but the money center in particular is awful. the hours clearly state 8am-8pm yet it seems to always close at 6:45-7 and when I asked why that is they just told me thats when they close. I pointed at the sign with the hours on it and said "well it says 8, maybe you should fix that" to which he responded "thats not what it says" yet it clearly did. There is the rare occasion its open until 8, so obviously its open until 8 and they choose to close early. They have never ONCE answered the phone so I can never find out if its still open or not and many people in the area rely on the money center for financial reasons. read more

I was there on Sunday on my way to the water park and had to get some bathing suits for my kids, as expected almost every single bathing suit was gone already since we are more toward the end of summer. I expected as much but I found my youngest daughter's bathing suit, then had a little more difficulty finding my older daughter's bathing suit.. finally found one. The top and the bottom matched but were sold separately. Cool. Go to pay at self check out and the bottoms will not scan. The lady running self check out told me to try scanning a couple different ways to get it to work. It didn't work.. she tried once and then said " it won't scan. You can't buy it." I work in customer service at Vons You are supposed to create a very fair price for the inconvenience and sell it anyways. You aren't supposed to just say " you can't buy it." I didn't feel like arguing so I decided to get something else. All the other bottoms also had no tags except for a few with clearance stickers that were all the wrong size and there was a line behind me so I had to think quick. I took a clearance sticker off of one of the pairs and stuck it on one of the tagless bottoms and purchase it for 2.50. They don't want to fix the problem so I fixed it the way I was taught. I know it doesn't make it right but seriously, why have items on the shelf that aren't sellable??? read more
