I have been here twice. And I can tell this is way bigger than the one in Lancaster. Aisles are wide, spacious, clutter free and like 3 carts can pass at the same time. Shelves are stocked and organized as well. Employees are around, ready to help out when you need something from the locked products. If you need an oil change and the like, this location has car service too. *Eye care inside, hair salon, tax preparer and fast food place

This the cashier Reina, a picture taken by another review from google.

was aggressively communicated and misrepresented / lied too and lied about by a PA something manager and Cashier Riena. I finished earlier and checked out, my daughter had my card on her cell phone. While I was strategically packing my car, my daughter called. She said a cashier named Reina told her she could not make a purchase for a pocket knife due to her being a minor. I told her no problem, I would be inside in 5 mins and I forgot ice. I met my daughter by Reina who helped me finish my purchase just 10 mins ago. she started to tell me I was breaking the law by having a minor buy a knife. Confused, I asked my daughter if she was buying a knife. She was getting a multipurpose tool that has a pocket knife. it's not California law that minors cannot buy a knife but it is against Walmarts policy clearly since she was telling me, my daughter couldn't buy the multipurpose tool. Reina said no, that it was still being purchased by a minor. and I told her to get her supervisor. She went to her supervisor and told her supervisor I was having a minor buy a knife. Not even a knife, but a multipurpose tool. I got to customer service I pulled up the law that clearly stated it's not against the law. Manager, She then started to attack me aggressively communicating verbally in clear escalating statements. said " what kind of a mother would let her minor daughter by a knife", I told her that Walmart knows about organizations such as boys and girls scouts of America and it's not unreasonable and normal to have a multipurpose tool and pocket knife's are not considered knives as their inches are not the same size as an actual knife. She the. Said " I am a mother and would never let my children buy a knife" I told her girls and Boy Scouts of America is educational and she should teach her kids, again her comment of " what kind of monther are you to let your daughter buy a knife, dont tell me what todo with my kids . " while she's literally lecturing me and aggressively communicating she's making statements that were abusive to decharacterize and be bias to exaggerate a multipurpose tool vs a knife. Shocked I said it's not a knife. She said you can't buy it. She then said I can refuse to who ever I want. As she dominated her position with power I asked for a form to file a complaint against her. I said " you can't do this" she then started to swear at me. Telling me she can do everything she damn well pleases, and she doesn't need todo a damn thing for me" she then again started to make inaccurate statements to exacterate and loudly say " what kind of mother are you to let your daughter buy a knife."she said " My daughter was at cashier 35 staring and the manager Patricia or patty her badge was covered only a PA showed, started to yell very loudly " why are you following me" while my daughter was behind her I would have to walk left to get to my daughter and I'm having an aggressive manager react to myself now walking to my daughter. She then called on her walkie talkie to security. Stating " step away from me and keep away" I felt fully unsafe, and I still had to get to my daughter who was at a register staring at us. I now was 1) accused of breaking the law. 2) aggressively communicated to escalate the entire situation and 3) being gaslighted and verbally abused by this manager on buying a knife vs a multipurpose tool because a pocket knife was and is attached. I then got to my car and took all the $200. Out and went back in. Determined to return it, When I got the front the manager then reappeared. She told her coworker who was returning my purchase that I " snuck in" " you have no right to speak to me, you are not going to be helped and don't talk to me". She then told her co worker to stop and freeze it and she would call 1800. security didn't have a problem with me but did walk with the manager as she told them I was trying to make my daughter buy a knife illegally. The abuse was unnecessary and the aggressive communication to claim dominance and intimidate me was astonishing. This picture is the cashier Reina taken by another review off google, and the Manager PA something possible patty or Patricia, was part of the managers first time, were extreme aggressive abusive communicators.

Walmart prices are going up! I don't appreciate that. So I will be looking for other stores with cheaper prices like Aldi or Dollar Tree. Dont agree with Walmart treatment of workers and Corporate greed anyways...

I went in today to grab few items. On my way out there was a piece of trash on the ground and I almost fell off my one leg scooter. I was able to catch myself from falling, but for safety I informed the woman who was working at 1:45p today 9/19 with pony tail. I said I almost fell off my scooter and pointed at the trash on the ground and she said ok thanks it looked like she got bothered. I didn't see her with any urgency, she didn't make a call didn't apologize, didn't do anything so that is my complain today. As a business owner I take information like this and I correct the issue. Luckily I didn't fall off my scooter and hurt my foot that is healing from a fracture. I bet nothing was done and no one at the store was notified to pick it up.

Absolute worst Walmart. Most of the registers don't work, including self check and departments, cheap items locked up, not enough cashiers.

A lot of the stores that used to make it great have closed, and what's left feels limited and outdated. The mall itself looks like it hasn't been updated in years -- the floors, lighting, and restrooms could really use some attention. It also doesn't feel very safe at times, especially in the parking lot during the evening. Security presence is hit or miss, and there are often groups of people just hanging around without shopping. Food court options are okay but not great, and customer service in many of the stores seems tired or short-staffed. It's honestly disappointing, because this used to be one of the main places to shop in the Antelope Valley. Overall, it feels like the mall has lost a lot of its energy. Unless there's a specific store you need to visit, it's probably easier to just shop online or head to a different shopping area.

I hope everyone feels as welcomed by this review to check out this market as I was by the family who owns and runs it. Ponia African Market Butik is an incredible family-owned grocery store with beautiful artisan crafts, clothing and imported goods. If you are looking to stock your sos pantry (preppers delight!) with the most useful and nutritious items, you are in ouck If you need ingredients for traditional Central American, South American or Southeast Asian recipes, this is for you. If you're seeking African imports and traditional African goods, find treasure here. Wherever you're from, whatever you're looking for, you'll be given a warm welcome, plenty of useful advice and you'll end up with something great in your basket. This uncrowded market is an excellent pandemic choice for those avoiding crowded markets nearby. Enter the market and turn right for beautiful embroidered dresses, stunning African textiles and elegant special occasion clothing for men and women. Racks of well-made sportswear, premium cotton t-shirts and African-themed memorabilia. As a big Bob Marley fan, I love this section! Pass the clothing to find hair products, African soap, jewelry, toiletries and useful household items. I was delightfully overwhelmed by isles filled with beautiful exotic imported food such as dry goods, seasonings, nutritious oils, beans, greans, fermented drinks, and imports from Ghana, Nigeria, Jamaica, and Camaroon. African food is tasty, healthy and colorful. I passed shelves filled with red palm oil, Yellow African curry, bright green banana leaves, orange citrus jerk seasoning and amber peppers. (What a wonderful world) The southwest part of the market is the refrigerated section filled with frozen and fresh hand cut meats, and smoked, dried and cured fish. Here, I asked for help from one of the wonderful family members who work at the market and ended up with ingredients for curry goat stew, African greens and more. She told me about Africa's version of tamales, also called corn koki, which is available in family-sized portions in the refrigerator. I told her about humitas which are very similar. Steamed corn cakes are popular around the world. Like many dishes and things that connect us from far away places, this market is a gold mine for my mortar and pestle friends around the world. After getting a generous lesson about African food, I learned the owner of this market also owns an African restaurant in the area. It sounds great and I can't wait to try it! I headed home with my treasure and turned to the ultimate source for African cooking advice: YouTube. Rolls up sleeves. After watching market trips in Ghana, coastal cooking in Jamaica, fu-fu recipes made the hard way (pounding plantains and starch with a stick for hours) and a goat recipe which required a village to prepare, I'm ready to try cooking my first African meal. I have a long way to go before I know what I'm doing but so far, learning is part of the fun. After enjoying the meals I prepared with my market treasure, I noticed an overall improvement in my health. Miracles happen in mysterious ways indeed! African curry powder was always my favorite. Can it cure cancer?! Ingredients list before: tumeric, coriander, cumin, allspice, black pepper, garlic, fenugreek, cloves, ground red hot pepper. African curry powder is the most nutritious seasoning I've ever seen! Many of my purchases had unexpectedly good health benefits and high nutritional value. Don't you love it when you heal an ailment, learn a lesson get a great bargain and find a new favorite? Me too! I found this market after making a U-turn to avoid an unhealthy "donut". (You know the guy) If you see an abusive ex, a bad scene, an unhealthy decision, make a U-turn! End up here where you'll be happier, healthier and hopefully inspired by African food forever. Many thanks to this market for the food, advice, help I appreciate the opportunity to review this market and I look forward to reading future five star reviews from fellow yelpers! Five stars for these guys and the poetry inspired here.:)
