    Today is April 24 th is going on 3 o'clock so we just got back from shopping 200 and some dollars at Winco Food store in Lancaster. I'll show you a picture right now and you can tell me what you think so I call up the service up there and I spoke to a Brandy, she's working right this minute. Answer the phone when you call yeah, I would want to get me a better customer service more polite person that just turned me completely against you guys now I don't like when foods your people are real your food you don't stand behind anything you do and these are cooked by your employees little brown bags cooked by your employees and sit out there burnt inside on outside thanks Brandy yeah I think she needs to be either going to be training again is what she needs to remember the day when she got hired there and she was so happy she got a job. I think she needs to be lived out again. if you're looking for me to say ambience so that you think this review is good. Is that what your system does just look for food service ambience come on?

    Groceries, are so expensive and WinCo's is one of my go-to. It is located in the Lowe's shopping center and there is plenty of parking. You really can get value for your buck and the food is very inexpensive. In comparison to Walmart, Vons, and the other grocery stores you are winning. They have both check out counters with clerks and also self checkout. The grocery store is pretty much huge and has everything. They only take cash, EBT, or debit card so be prepared and do not try to pay with your credit card. As far as the service the checkers are always polite. The other people who work there are helpful. I always get an eerie feeling when I enter and shop at this WinCo. This is the Winco were the man was found dead in the pipes. Sometimes when I enter the meat department it smells like rot. It may be the freezers with old meat or drippings. They other downside that I have is the cleanliness. The checkout counter is always filthy. I think during covid-19 they were cleaning them but they are all filthy now so beware. Hopefully, the managers will read this and improve the cleanliness.

    Every time I go to wincos I walk out with a bunch of things :) they have some great prices and the staff is nice. Best part is they are open until midnight. Lots of parking and no lines after 8:30p I wish they sold vegan mayonnaise :) Would have completed my shopping trip.

    Dear Gonzalez Meat Market Management,…read more I am writing to formally bring to your attention a concerning experience I had at your Lancaster, California location. My intent is to make you aware of several issues related to both food safety practices and customer service, as these are matters that directly impact public health and customer trust. First, I observed what appeared to be serious health code violations. During my visit, a staff member handled raw meat and then proceeded to touch other surfaces without properly washing or sanitizing their hands. Specifically: - Raw meat was transported from a neighboring location and handled in a way that created a risk of cross-contamination. - The individual handling the raw meat also handled the exterior of the bag, which can transfer bacteria. - Afterward, the same staff member touched cash from the register, soda cans, and prepared food items without changing gloves or washing hands. This sequence of actions raises concerns about cross-contamination and food safety, especially since customers directly consume these items. Secondly, I would like to address the customer service experience. At the time of my visit, there appeared to be insufficient staffing, with only one chef and one cashier managing a high volume of customers. As a result: - There were approximately 20 customers waiting, and service was significantly delayed (around 20 minutes or more). - Several customers ahead of me were still waiting when a customer who ordered after me received her food first, despite placing a larger order. - My order was simple (four carne asada tacos and Mexican rice), yet it took longer than expected without clear communication. Additionally, I was informed that the grill was down, which contributed to the delay. While I understand that unexpected issues can occur, this was not communicated proactively, and there was no effort made to accommodate or compensate for the inconvenience. I had requested grilled onions and grilled jalapeños, and given the delay and circumstances, it would have been a considerate gesture to provide these at no additional cost. Instead, I was charged and met with an unprofessional attitude when I raised concerns. Overall, the combination of potential health code violations and poor customer service created an experience that was both disappointing and concerning. I hope you take this feedback seriously and implement corrective measures to ensure proper food handling procedures and improved customer service moving forward. This place has strong potential, but a few operational improvements would really elevate the customer experience. During busy hours, more staffing and a clearer order system would help reduce long waits and ensure customers are served in the correct order. I'd also recommend reinforcing basic food safety practices like preventing cross-contamination between raw meat handling, cash handling, and food prep, as well as keeping the grill consistently running during service hours to avoid delays. Lastly, when delays happen, small gestures like complimentary items or waiving small add-ons can go a long way in maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. Sincerely, B. Orona Blackshire

For a long time, I have held Vallarta to a high standard, but after several consecutive negative experiences, I will no longer be shopping at your location. During my most recent visit, I ordered a family meal consisting of two pollos asados and an extra pound of chicharrones. I was disappointed to see the rice and beans being poured from a bag while I waited for my order. Furthermore, the chicharrones I purchased were not included in my bag, forcing me to return to the store. When I returned for the missing items, the service I received was unacceptable. The attendant, Dulce, seemed bothered to be doing her job and was very condescending. When I was asked for my receipt, Dulce shrugged her shoulders as if she did not remember me, despite the fact that I had been there only ten minutes prior. In the past, I have overlooked similar situations because everyone has bad days; however, the lack of professional standards and poor customer service have now become a consistent issue. It is clear that the quality of service we once expected from Vallarta is gone. As a result of this repeated treatment, my family and I will no longer be choosing Vallarta for our shopping needs.
