THE GOOD: The overall prices saves me money. THE BAD: I know it is only temporary but the last two months have been like a scavenger hunt in a construction zone. The store has whole areas empty. I go in every Saturday morning and they are doing remodeling and updating. You have to hunt for the items you are looking for. If you ask for help the workers are just as confused as to where everything is. Not only have they moved the products - they have redefined what product belongs where. In example, the Rice a Roni is in a different row than the Noodle Roni where they used to be together. They have also removed the fish and deli counters and replaced them with all pre-packaged products. There are no longer small sizes of the deli items like Cole slaw and potato salad. You can no longer get thicker cuts of the deli meats. Once it is all done I am hoping it will be better but with the removal of the fish and deli counters it will never be as good as it once was. read more

This was my first time visiting the Lancaster location. The store was clean, well-stocked, and had great prices. I grabbed some drinks for my kids, and the bathrooms were also clean. Answer the phone when you call yeah, I would want to get me a better customer service more polite person that just turned me completely against you guys now I don't like when foods your people are real your food you don't stand behind anything you do and these are cooked by your employees little brown bags cooked by your employees and sit out there burnt inside on outside thanks Brandy yeah I think she needs to be either going to be training again is what she needs to remember the day when she got hired there and she was so happy she got a job. The Food always seems FRESH . The service is cool too. Not sure if I like the location but it is what it is and I travel about 30 min or so to get there. I wanted to point out how consistently DELICIOUS their Fried Chicken is We have tried other Supermarkets for their Fried Chicken and nothing comes close. We normally order our Fried Chicken Boxes early in the morning or a Day before for pickup. We also normally get the Deviled Egg Potato Salad with the order. FYI the Potato Salad is a little on the sweet side We always grab Hawaiian Rolls to go with it. They use to have the Baked Mac and Cheese Hot and ready to order but I guess they couldn't keep up with the Demand ... Groceries, are so expensive and WinCo's is one of my go-to. It is located in the Lowe's shopping center and there is plenty of parking. You really can get value for your buck and the food is very inexpensive. In comparison to Walmart, Vons, and the other grocery stores you are winning. They have both check out counters with clerks and also self checkout. The grocery store is pretty much huge and has everything. They only take cash, EBT, or debit card so be prepared and do not try to pay with your credit card. As far as the service the checkers are always polite. The other people who work there are helpful. I always get an eerie feeling when I enter and shop at this WinCo. This is the Winco were the man was found dead in the pipes. Sometimes when I enter the meat department it smells like rot. It may be the freezers with old meat or drippings. They other downside that I have is the cleanliness. The checkout counter is always filthy. I think during covid-19 they were cleaning them but they are all filthy now so beware. Hopefully, the managers will read this and improve the cleanliness. read more

I used to say nice things about these employees but as it turns out their actually very shallow and rude. I was stranded and had asked if I could use the soda machine as they were walking out and they put their noses up to me and said NO WERE CLOSED!! Then the one in the white truck revved her engine as she sped past me in the parking lot like she was going hit me for not walking fast enough. I see now what kind of people work there.. Every time I go to wincos I walk out with a bunch of things :) they have some great prices and the staff is nice. Best part is they are open until midnight. Lots of parking and no lines after 8:30p I wish they sold vegan mayonnaise :) Would have completed my shopping trip. read more

The casher was very aggressive and rude upon me asking about my chip not working. He proceeds to tell me my chip doesn't work due to me being rough with it. Mind you he spends literally 1 min on this convo that he decided not to hear me say yes when I was I asked if I wanted a bag. I said yes. I am so pisseded with this establishment and needed to say something. I've gone in to pick up white onion. They were all rotten. Told the clerk that was putting them out that they were bad He said that's what they gave me. I overlooked that. But yesterday, I purchased hot dog buns that were green . I called and complained. They said bring them to customer service and we will replace. Will I go there today about 1:30 Memorial Day and this "Supervisor " Jose tells me no the date he putting out is June 4th. For Mr employee of the month, the cashier with the gloves . I went with my uncle 50, me 32 my nephew 26 to get groceries and beer. This guy cards us and then refuses to sell us alcohol because they didn't have their id on them but he proceeds to check mine and then rudely tells us he's not gonna sell us alcohol and that no one in the store will. So I tell him hey I'll just go grab the beer and get it myself and my uncle would pay for the groceries. This guy keeps talking saying he's gonna tell all his co workers to not sell me anything. Mind you I'm the one who showed him a valid id. So I end up paying for the groceries then he asks me if I wanted the receipt. I tell him nah fuck the receipt I don't want it. I start walking away and he starts running the next customer and he tells me "F U too" . I had already walked away so I turn back and tell him I told you fuck the receipt I didn't say f U. I always like winco for my groceries hopping but yesterday bought some yogurt and two packages of chicken for my sandwiches and was expired with expiration date of May 25, 2025. You should pay more attention to your delli products, I went to the store to exchange it but because I don't have a receipt they couldn't do nothing, it's ok as long as they don't sell it to someone else. WINCO screwed everyone again and all of a sudden changed their hours!!! They're not open 24 hours, as of 2/7/2022, when I went there after getting off of work late at night. Ended up going there for nothing. Don't know why they changed their hours again. Maybe because their shelves are getting more bare, week after week, just like all the other stores.
