My boyfriend gifted me a box of chocolate covered strawberries. I have no idea how the trip went for him, but the strawberries were very tasty. Personally, I like white chocolate over regular chocolate, but I decided to try to regular chocolate after eating a white chocolate covered strawberry. They are getting better. Love the delicious deli and Chicken. They do a great job with the cut fruit too. Cashiers are much friendlier than they used to be and the mark down area is more organized. I've noticed a real big effort on everyone's part to be extra nice and attentive to all the customers. They have not been out of anything in the deli containers or tops for the containers. In the past that was a problem. They have a few new items in the deli, and some tasty new salads. At night, it is a little dark, still that night, but otherwise parking is plentiful. 9/09/2025 at 4:50-6:30pm I waited for my order and Judy did not help. Almost two hours. To my knowledge those fryers are small. (From my observation/view). Judy is rude. And ignored customers, I tried talking to her/ asking about my order and she acted like she had no idea what she was doing? This isn't the first time. I had to come back. This review is for the bakery. I ordered a two tier cake last minute as my original order elsewhere fell through. The sales person was so helpful and patient as I placed my order to be picked up the next day. It was a plain two tier white cake with strawberry mousse filling. I ordered a simple cake from Albertsons, white cake with strawberries and whipped cream in the middle and external was also whipped cream. The cake was fresh and so delicious. It turned out perfect and such a great affordable option. We order our cakes here every year for my daughter's birthday because it's her favorite. They do a great job! They sell a good Chocolate Cake. Although it is pricey and small compared to other stores, it is worth it. Moist, soft and not too sweet. Fridays are good for shopping too. You get good deals for $5. This location is unfortunately going down hill. High prices and with unprofessional staff. The bathrooms are locked and staff members have to unlock the doors. They don't give out the code anymore. There's a lady who works in the floral department who I asked for the code. She had a nasty attitude for no reason when she could have simply said she didn't have the code. There's also a lady in the deli who clearly hates her job and makes it uncomfortable to order. I hope things begin to improve. read more

Here we go again. Apparently if you're dressed for a regular day out in the world you're not allowed in Albertsons anywhere. While shopping in this nearly empty store for about 5 minutes the security guard comes up to us a says "customers" are complaining that my wife's mid thigh length dress she's wearing with a knee length coat is too short. Mind you we only walked passed one bald dude in Bravura 2017 sweatshirt who looked like he wasn't allowed within 300 feet of an elementary school, I mean he looked like he got kicked out of high school for sniffing bicycle seats. Sorry you're jealous because your fashion sense screams I drink alone in breweries because no woman will talk to me after the "allegations". But the point is, Security should look at that man and say I'm sorry we don't take complaints about the way women are dressed and most certainly not when they're dressed like a manager at the bank. Don't come bother us because of someone else's insecurities. You think I wasn't offended by his looks? My retinas are still burning. The only other time in our life this has happened, for the same reason a mid thigh length dress, was at the other Albertsons in Palmdale where a manager, another little ball dude I could fit in my pocket was trying to fight me when I told him to mind his own business and don't talk to my wife. Then when I called to complain he answered the phone and told me to drive back to the store and meet him in the parking lot to fight (what he lacks in size he made up for in confidence I guess). I complained to corporate and I get a call from a Lisa who's either the store manager but she claimed to be the district manager said she would take care of it but she didn't take care of anything that little troll is still in there mad dogging me on the rare occasion I come in. We already cut the 30 grand a year we spent at Albertsons for the last 20 years down by 80% but this is the final straw. The management of this store allows a customer to walk around inside the store blaring music on a large boombox with horribly offensive, foul language. I mean that's what every customer wants to hear blaring out of a speaker when they're trying to talk to the cashier that they can barely hear because of the music. This wasn't outside in the parking lot this was literally at the cashier's booth in Albertsons. Not one employee in that store said a word to him which included the security guard. When I spoke with a supervisor he said, "oh, he's a repeat customer and it's a public place and we really can't do anything about it." That is an absolute lie, it is a store where breaking the law still applies. I guarantee you everyone is sick and tired of putting up with rude, obnoxious behavior and for the store to do absolutely nothing is simply an act of cowardice. I Julie shop at the Albertsons on 20th St., West and Avenue K. However, recently I've started shopping at the Albertsons on 10th St., West and Palmdale Boulevard because on Friday they have the five dollar special are fresh flowers that actually look fresh. So by default I am now spending my dollars at the Palmdale Albertsons so that way I can just make one stop hopefully the Albertsons manager and Lancaster will see this message and make improvements to the Florida department so I can come back and continue to shop at the West Lancaster location. read more

It's so unfair to have to write and report the lack of fair treatment. The folks behind the deli counter don't pay attention to the ordering folks who come up to the counter. There are no "pull a number " tickets to help with this either. I've seen a lady put the task of filling up a paper bag with tissue paper for decor , and focusing on that - as opposed to acknowledging a customer and saying be right with you / or just dropping that very easy task to help a paying guest. They rarely greet you unless you're yt & they wouldn't even come around the corner to assist a motorized patron. Poor treatment even over the phone. Not very good at communicating and very quick to say "oh no. We don't offer that" (( also I've had to ask some one to change their gloves or throw away something that was contaminated from falling into the ground )) .. on multiple occasions 9/29/21 - up until I went back last week 2/5/22. Grocery store is well stocked but there were some things that could be improved. The speakers are incredibly loud to the point where it's difficult to converse with people and the staff. Additionally, we had to dodge an employee cussing to themselves loudly while restocking the produce section. Have been shopping at this Albertsons for two and a half years. I always have to spend time at the register correcting the prices of items. The prices are always higher than the shelf's price! Albertsons has a bad habit of cheating its customers. This is especially true for the fruits and vegetables. The fruit might be $1.25 a pound, but it will ring up as $3.50 a pound! This has happened to me a couple of times! To get customers into the store, Albertsons will send text messages to customers for a free item. When you get their all the items were allegedly sold out. If I could give 1/2 a star I would. The woman with the initials m.m. in the bakery is extremely rude. I came in to pick up a cake I already custom ordered and paid for with her yesterday. I hit the bell as the sign says too and she comes around the corner from the back stating she is with a customer and giving me a dirty look. Which I find interesting as no one is allowed back there but employees. Then she comes out and says I am helping a customer and what do you need. I hand her my pickup slip and she goes back and grabs it. Then I come out to the car and she had stapled my photo to the order slip. My photo came in a photo developing envelope and now instead of making sure the photo wasn't punctured I now have holes in my photo which was part of the gift for my husbands birthday. Why aren't Albertsons employees friendly anymore? Or even polite? What happened to their good customer service? I have gone here for minor needs/wants over the years and really seen it tank. The recently stopped to pick up some ice cream and went to a checkout line with the light on. No other customer was there, the cashier saw me, yet continued to talk to another employee. After they finished, she went to a till, didn't say a word to me, but was a different one from where I was and the light wasn't even on. A customer came in, I let them go before me and then I was finally able to pay for my ice cream. The only people who have been helpful and kind are in the deli! Went to shop for essentials and noticed the prices had increased on shelf stable items 30-50 percent. A can of hormel chili is currently $2.99 when it should be less than $2. The same was evident with cereal, rice and most pantry items. They were also adding to this pandemic insanity by offering normal retail prices as a sale price if you bought multiples of items like Ritz crackers, Uncle Ben's instant rice and several cereals. Albertsons is ALWAYS well stocked, neat and clean. The employees are ALWAYS very friendly, helpful and professional. My experience has been that if there are more than 3 or 4 customers in a lane to check out. They will open another register to help the over flow. (Of course during the pandemic. The lines were long. However, the lines were long everywhere). Some items are a little pricey at times but the overall stress free experience is well worth it and them some. initially i would like to say that i truly enjoy this albertsons, truly nice staff, very clean and well organized store with fine cashiers, albeit; the deli is a critter all of its own. horribly disorganized, absolutely no customer service, persons wandering around the back seemingly doing nothing but dawdling and no one wants to provide customer service at the counter. today, finally had to say loudly, does anyone work here? got a small, middle aged hispanic lady with the personality of a stale tamale who provided my order but put the wrong bar code on the wrap and thus; could not get the digital coupon price. way to go mamacita! same thing each time i go in there. last time, stood there forever turning over chicken parts but would never acknowledge customers, they are invisible. seemingly, this deptl. is ungoverned, unassigned and unable to perform seemingly minor tasks. this is a real disservice to the public and a real stain on albertsons. jessica and edgar might give some attention to whom it is that is controlling this dept. no numbering system, the whole dept. seems to be out of control. jumping around like a bunch of uncontrolled, undisciplined associates. time to whip some of these people into shape like red headed step children. read more
