We LOVE Trader Joe's here in Palmdale! It's the place to go for not only some of those quirky items you won't find in a traditional grocery store, but for some great prices on some of your staples. Plus their wine selection is much more interesting than the local chain stores and way more affordable than Bev-Mo! Our go to place for cheeses like brie, camembert or the hybrid cambozola. We also love their selections of fresh cut flowers, herbs, fruits and vegetables. To top it all off, the staff is always friendly and there's always someone available for questions. My ONLY complaint...it's not a big enough store. We've been to many others that are much bigger and offer more of their great products. read more

I love this location because it always has enough parking and the shelves are always stacked and clean. The store itself is always looking freshly stocked and upkept. I love the flower selections tbh. The past few times I've gone however I have asked for help and the employees seemed very busy (holiday and all) so I went about my way till I either found or couldn't find what I was looking for. But it's still a great value. It was pretty crowded but everyone loves trader Joe's. There's always something new to try. Thankful, that I always managed to get in and out and I love that. One of the stores at the Amargosa Commons. The store is quiet spacious compared to other locations. Upon entering, fresh flowers greets you with a lovely scent and a smile from the employees. Sales associates are quick to offer help and gives ideas. Especially when checking out, they make sure that there is no line. I purchased a frozen chicken wing that is ready to be cooked. It says 28 - 30 minutes but it is not enough. I cooked for about an hour and it was crispy and delicious. I will buy it again. Good for party time or watching games. Ample parking. Trader Joe's is the worst grocery store. It is actually so mid. I have never had a more than garbage experience in that store. It is always way too small and it makes me want to scream. The food items sold are very expensive for what you are getting. The bread tastes like cardboard. The service quality is so low that I start to have a panic attack. I am more stressed in trader joes than I would be in a burning building. The lines are so long because checking out takes way too long because there is no room to breathe. I give it one star because they have good flowers, cinnamon brooms, xoxo candies and sandwich wraps. If it weren't for that they would get a big fat ZERO! Be careful out there! Many many years I've been shopping at the Palmdale Trader Joe's and they are consistently outstanding at customer service. Today was no different: cashier Daniel N (according to the receipt) asked if I found everything and there was one specialty thing I couldn't find. He could have easily said they were out since it wasn't on the shelf, but he called someone else, who went in the back and found it! Since this location is in a plaza there is plenty of parking. Staff is always friendly and they keep a good stock of their items. In COVID-19 era there are canopies outside while waiting in line and shopping carts are cleaned right when you enter the store. read more

I have frequented Trader Joe's for many, many, many, years in many areas and counties and states. They' normally have what I'm looking for never encountered huge problems. This location is just not passing the vibe, it's just off! The parking, the patrons, the employees - sorry. The last straw. An employee put my "full" grocery bag at the bottom of the cart, when crossing the front of the store to get to my car, "bc parking is always a nightmare unless it's right before closing", my bag fell off my cart and my groceries went all over the street with my toddler in the cart. This is Palmdale so no one help me, of course. I did make sure and say, "well, if you think it'll be secure down there, I've never had my groceries put at the bottom before!?" He over filled the bag and I even told him, if you need to use additional paper bags I'm okay with that. He proceeded. This location is just not it, you do not get the full TJ awesomeness that you get at other locations. It's a knockoff. read more

First time visiting this location and it was a great surprise to find more spacious store compared to the ones I have gone to in South Pasadena & Pasadena. Not too sure exactly but definitely larger than the one near my house. The layout of the store is different (opposite) from the usual. Drinks like juices, Kefir, milk are placed in an open refrigerators instead of closed doors as well. When you enter the store, please go all the way back by the coffee bar to see new arrivals. Thats what I do before I start shopping! Trader Joe's have so many great products to offer and I definitely cant list everything because every each one of them is my favorite. BUT!! to name a few, I recently got into their black truffle dip, truffle pasta sauce, unexpected cheddar shreds and Korean BBQ ribs. I always walk in to buy a few and walk out with a long receipt with an average spending of $50-$100 per trip! But you get so many good stuff so its definitely worth it! Tonight, my cashier, Stephanie, was rude because I wore my mask. She looked annoyed & I thought, store's about to close up, she's probably over her shift. She barely said hi & didn't bag our stuff. Whatever. Then my partner noted that the (unmasked) people infront of us got their stuffed bagged. The (unmasked) people after us got their stuff bagged. The (masked) elderly couple after them did not get their stuff bagged. The couple looked confused too. I wouldn't have been mad if she was mad because of a crap day. I've been a cashier. I know sometimes it sucks. She was discorteous for something that has no effect on her being or day. Apart from rude people, the store is great, just like any other Trader Joe's. read more

What I love best about Trader Joe's is that the quantities are small they're not huge like a warehouse but small for single or two people and the quality of food is exceptional and very unique items that I enjoy. Trader Joe's has traditionally being my favorite store ever since I moved to Cali however, this particular TJ Store had not being the best of them. They seemed to run out of stock a lot and then when they give you a tentative delivery date, it doesn't materialize. A recent example is that they were out of the Braided and sliced Brioche and I was told an specific date for delivery and two trips later, they were still out . I was also offered the Pumpkin Brioche and the "Vegan" which they had plenty of(??). It should had been a sign to them that they were not giving the public what they want. Trader Joe's as a franchise is a 5's on my book but this store get's a 3 in the hope they do better read more

This store is really great. Classic Trader Joe's lay-out and they'll have most if not all of your favorites. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The parking lot can get a bit hectic, but patience usually wins the day. Pro tip: going during the day between 10am-2pm and you'll usually have no issues with parking or crowds. P.S. - I have been to the store a couple of times during the pandemic crisis and things were calm and orderly. The shelves weren't fully stocked like usual, but there was still plenty of delicious items. My salute to the staff and management for soldiering on during this challenging time. Food is always stocked and employees are nice! They are very productive people, I always see them doing something. This store has a nice range of products and is always busy and is relatively small compared to other grocery stores. Something I always find strange with Trader Joe's and stores like it (Whole Foods for example), is that their check outs are so small. There is no conveyer belt and the table to place your items is not that big. The layout of the registers is also a little confusing, there are no definite visual markers for lanes or which direction to go... it all seems convoluted honestly. But you get the hang of it after a while. read more

Who doesn't love Trader Joe's? I'm happy about this TJ's. Due to COVID precautions, there is a line, but the wait isn't long like I've experienced at other stores like Ralphs. Upon entry, you will be met with a sanitized cart or basket and you have a sanitization table/station available to you. Everything I was looking for was available. It was cool to see almost everything fully stocked, so props to this location. With COVID, I think that's a big competitive advantage because some stores I've been to appear to consistently have difficulty keeping up with demand, especially with the holidays coming up. Parking is easy because it's shared. It's logistically easy to drive in and out of. It's conveniently located by other vendors so you can get other errands done. Overall, this location is a win-win. Last but not least, please give Jay and I think, Chris?, a raise. These cashiers, especially, Jay, were very welcoming, helpful, and friendly, when I was trying to navigate checkout. Jay was proactive when he noticed I needed help. Also, Jay's friendliness and awesome personality turned the classic dreary checkout process into a way better experience. read more

More floor space and wider aisles than most of the older TJs in the area. Friendly, efficient, helpful employees. One of the few grocers in the AV that does not have lines extending to the back of the store (because they always open as many checkout lanes as are needed!). Alas, fond of moving stock around so you have to ask what happened to your favorite item. read more

Such a wonderful place. The staff is very professional, polite and kind. The cashier who helped yesterday transferred my groceries into another cart so I wouldn't move my baby, he also ask another employee to help me out. The lady that helped me push my groceries was SO sweet as well, she went as far as putting my groceries in my trunk so I could attend to my baby. HOW SWEET!!! The store is very clean and organized. Stopped by this Trader Joe's location on the way home from dropping off my husband the Navy base. Love this location. It is 5x bigger than my regular location, Eagle Rock. It has products that the Eagle Rock location doesnt have. It was a bit hard for me to find, but that's just because i google mape-d it on my iphone... read more
