Great place for getting specialty vegan items in the AV. Great selection of nuts, organic fruits, and vegetables. Combining their different cans of beans mashed up with sweet potatoes and their 7gm protein whole wheat pita bread makes for a delicious sandwich! They always have a beautiful selection of flowers, currently they have bunches of fresh daffodils for sale. Its nice they have so many check out stands open. I look forward to trying some of their non dairy ice cream in the future. read more

It's such a shame its taken us so long to come to TJs. But am so happy we finally did. This TJs is located on the same side and near in shape gym, along with several eateries. I loved that even though we came here on a Saturday night, everything was stocked, fresh and healthy. The best part of all TJs that I almost forgot, was how affordable it is to shop here! Trader Joe's how I have missed you, there is no such thing as you in South Dakota. I went here earlier this week to get a few items to start stocking my pantry and for 2 bags of stuff considering what I got (one of the things being a bag of langostino for $9) my grand total was under $45. I love their wine selection...specifically the $2 kind, in NYC they do not sell wine in grocery stores like they do in most of the rest of the US so this is a 2-in-1 deal for me. I have only tried their Shiraz that was $2 so far but it wasn't to bad and went well with the bbq pulled chicken that they also have. Yeah everything is a little pricier but when you look at what you are actually getting and the joy of actually being able to read and pronounce all of the ingredients in the food that you are putting into your body should be worth a little bit more. Granted for daily items this isn't the best place, you'd be better off shooting over to regular grocery store. And this Trader Joe's is larger than other ones I have been in. read more

I've slowly converted to Trader Joe's this past year. Some people complain about their prices. But really people, use common sense! TJ's fruits are pretty expensive and not all of them are organic. I hardly ever buy fruits here, aside from the occasional bananas and apples. They have lots of apples to choose from but most of them are bruised! I stick to Costco for fresh berries. TJ's do have blood oranges, which are great in salads. I love Trader Joes for their wide variety of interesting snacks that are relatively inexpensive, awesome frozen selection, and the super nice people that work here. Everyone is really polite and friendly. It's a nice touch for people who hate grocery shopping. I, on the other hand, LOVE grocery shopping! I get to buy what I want to eat! One great perk of not living at home anymore, right? My usual items that I love and suggest: Spicy peanut dressing- sooo good! My favorite dressing. Ever. TJ orange juice- $1.99 for a carton! Cheap and delicious! Tofu- can't live without this Orange chicken- $4.99. My nieces and nephew love it and it's their most "popular" item. One bag is good for about 2-3 lunches/dinner for me. It's filling! Broccoli- always fresh and plentiful! Pair this with orange chicken and you're set. I love TJ! read more

I have been shopping at TJ's for many years and it is one of my favorite grocery stores. They have great products at great prices and their customer service is unmatched! Trader Joe's is the place I go for it ethically raised chicken, beef, eggs, and wild caught fish for starters. The employees are upbeat and helpful. The store is well stocked with staples and former items as well as reasonably priced cut flowers. Their COVID safety protocols are thorough and they limit the number of shoppers in the store at any time. read more

Our Palmdale TJ is the BEST! Everywhere I travel I always shop in TJ and by far our TJ has the friendly est most helpful people working here ! They are always stocked well and If I don't see what I'm Looking for I just ask and someone will get it from the back :) My favorite thing to do Is get the mystery bags (seasonal) and During the year all my gifts are in a TJ bag from Far away and everyone always comments how did you get this bag !??? I love all The delicious foods and produce and beverages they TJ has I'm a lifer shopper for sure! read more

I've seen way better! The store closed at 9pm and at 8:30 I was being pushed out the door. Rude cart guy literally pushed me out of the way as he was yelling at a cashier to get everybody out of the store by 9pm. Note to manager - stock your shelves after the customers leave not while I'm trying to shop. Every aisle was packed with workers rushing to get done with their shifts. Won't be coming back to this TJ any time soon! read more

Just learned that Trader Joe's doesn't offer curbside pickup! Most of all other retailers do. TH wants their customers to experience coming in and picking g up their product? Really? During pandemic? We do all of our grocery shopping at Trader Joe's weekly. Friendly staff and all of our staples are all always stocked.

I'm happy to know that there's a Trader Joe's in the Antelope valley. Unfortunately it's still at half hour drive but for my healthy organic options it's worth it. The employees are so kind and helpful, I love my weekly trips because I stock up on what I need and it always stays fresh. One time a cashier noticed I picked some bad apples and brought it to my attention and I was so grateful because I would have noticed when I got home and that drive would've have sucked so I'm still very grateful for their kindness. This is a great location! They have discontinued items like organic pita chips and their collagen pills but I'm content with everything else and super pleased. Always interesting offerings in this unique store. We really enjoy looking at everything here, because every week has something new. Interesting international foods for anyone's taste. My husband and I have been coming here since they opened and I just felt the need to yelp them because we rarely have to wait in line. Like the place can be crazy busy and they will have all of the registers open and there won't be any waiting because they are that fast and that good. I really don't know how they do it because I never feel rushed when I'm at the cashier, they are always super nice and very sweet. The store is always clean and it's easy to find what I'm looking for because I can always find an employee really easily who will show me where it is. I LOVE Trader Joe's. I swear, I could live on only things bought here and be a happy, happy woman. I frequent TJ's at most five times a week, at least once a week, in various cities across L. A. Whether its the ingredients for a family meal you're shopping for, or just picking up a quick bite for lunch, you'll find something fresh, delicious, (relatively) healthy, amazing, and unique to satisfy your need. My staples from Trader Joe's are the fresh salad fixings (bagged organic baby spinach, organic baby lettuce, organic tomatoes, organic baby carrots, English cucumber, etc.), ready-to-eat meats to go on the salads, their pre-fixed salads (the Reduced Guilt Asian Chicken is my fav!), their multi-grain fiber bread, their natural peanut butter, their reduced-sugar strawberry jelly, their Fiberful fruit leather, their vast selection of nuts and dried fruit, their flat pretzels to dip in hummus, their garlic hummus, their Greek yogurt, their lime bubble water (AKA TJ's Sparkling Mineral Water), their sugar-free chocolate bars, the Reggiano Lambrusco sweet red wine, the rest of their organic produce... okay now I'm just going up and down the aisles in my head. You get the point - I love their products. The employees are always awesome and helpful no matter the location, and make the shopping experience that much better. The prices for produce can add up quickly, but you'll feel better because it's quality fruits & veggies. For the other stuff, prices are reasonable, if not inexpensive, especially compared to Whole Foods and the like. If you need me, I'll be at Trader Joe's. read more

I do the majority of my grocery shopping at this Trader Joe's. I love it. The produce is always fresh, the shelves are always well stocked. It's not a very big store, but I like that. It's easy to get in and out without any trouble. It's the perfect place to get unusual, healthy and organic items that they don't carry at the larger chain grocery stores. It's also a great place to get fresh, beautiful flowers. They sell bouquets for as low as $3.99. Whenever I need flowers, I head to Trader Joe's. They have a great selection. As for customer service, they should get six stars! I rarely have to wait in line. They seem to have tons of people working there for such a small store. This Trader Joe's definitely needs some improvements. The only thing I liked is that they don't charge for paper bags. There were many items that I could not find at this Trader Joe's compared to bigger TJ's. The selection is very limited, not enough staff, and the staff is "whatever," not really friendly, they don't seem happy to even be there. This is from previous experience shopping in the Trader Joe's in Westwood and Stonetown Trader Joe's in San Francisco. The staff at these two locations are beyond friendly and even though its usually super packed with lines that reach the aisles, the staff always asks if you found everything and how your day is going. Maybe because the staff at these locations are students from UCLA and SFSU, either way work on your customer service. read more

This has been our primary grocery store ever since the big grocery store strike a few years back. TJ's responded by improving their produce department. This particular TJ's sometimes doesn't have things that I can find in the Toluca Lake store (near where I work), but it has a wide variety of quality foods and spirits at reasonable prices. I love Trader Joes for certain items, they have some really good deals on many, many great things. I love the coffees, the selection of sparkling waters, the kettle corn, the different healthy candies they supply. My favorite candy for now is this dark chocolate concoction with an orange delicious "gelacious" (or gelatinous) center, but be careful, these are very addicting! I like certain vitamins, minerals, and the stuff like Bach Flower Remedies. I also love crystal deodorant, some "Toms" products and "Doc Bronners" products like Peppermint Soap, some other bath products...the Trader Joes brand orange shave creme, lasted me almost a year, and was simply yummy...okay, I don't shave every time I shower ...maybe once or twice a week I will shave unless it's some special occasion. (I'm either a dirty hippy or just a real "homebody or BoTh, you can guess which...haha)" The only reason I am giving a four out of five stars, is that the Silverlake crew, from my old Trader's, was waay more hospitable than the Palmdale staff. I was actually insulted when checking out in the Palmdale store a couple of times...ahh, the perks of being humble(d) in Southern Cali...it keeps a girl wondering....(why I don't move already?) One guy actually quizzed me whether I was being honest when I said I was not familiar with the store, having only been there a couple of times, he had the audacity to ask if i wasn't sure that I hadn't EVER been there. DUDE...just because you don't recognize a person as a return customer, does not mean you subtly call them a liar when they are checking out! I was P.O.'d and just wished I hadn't forgotten my Trader Joes reusable bags in the trunk of my car on that trip. What's cool is my daughter thought it was "Trailor Joes" for months, and after that insult from the clerk, I thought that was PERTY DanG Funny, me too! ((( Not that I wouldn't deck out the coolest trailor ever, if I moved into one man, so no offense to mobile home dwellers....you just might be doing better-n-me, right now baby!))) Otherwise... DO go there! For the fabulous organic food, and what-not, much of which at this point I can't really afford, but as soon as I am able to, I am planning more trips there, more oft, to stock up myfridge, & cabinets until they are fully laden with TJ's beautiful spices, fruits, veges, cheeses, and such as well as what I buy now. AND I hear the wine is palatable too, and it's cheap as HeLL...and sipped slowly a nice Cabernet, might just get you nearer to Heaven at times. When I saw Yelper Judi S. write a review on TJs I realized they really are worth the effort of a good word. To put things in perspective, I shopped with my mother at TJs at their #1 store on Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena when I was just a child. After marrying and living in communities without a TJ around, I got in the supermarket habit. But when the Palmdale location opened, I was shouting for joy. My relatives in Houston keep begging on the TJ website for a store to be opened there. As the years have passed and the natural concerns for a healthy life have grown, TJs has become much more important. They provide not only quality and higher end food stuffs, but they also cater more to those of us in the growing population of seekers of organic options. For example, if you've never tried their organic potatoes (when they have them), you must give them a shot. Even if only baked, you will not believe how sweet they are. And for a special treat, try this version (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/garlic-hasselback-potatoes-with-herbed-sour-cream-recipe/index.html) when cooking them because it'll blow your socks off. TJ is the only place in town where we can buy Boursin garlic/herb cheese spread (which we use with salmon and roll in lettuce leaves with lemon juice and capers) ... the supermarkets only sell Rondelle and another brand whose name I cannot recall, but I'm one of those people who actually reads ingredient labels and so Boursin is my brand of choice. Hello everyone Visited this Trader Joe's to see their wine prices which I was told were a bargain! I had to get some alcohol for my wedding coming up and was told by my brother that the wine here was cheap but tasted good. So I left Costco to check out this out and found out that the Charles Shaw Merlot wine was 2.49 which was very good! They also have an Almond Champagne for 5.99 which was also a great find! So if your looking for a lot of wines for a good price this is probably the place to go! I was pleasantly surprised to come across this TJ's while killing time in P-dale. I'm coming to find that if you stay in a certain area of town, Palmdale and Lancaster aren't that bad. I'm not going to move there, ever, and I'd never live that far from the water, I'm trying to tell you it's not all bad.
