I shop at this store regularly and I avoid certain cashiers because I already know from experience that they will be rude. I'd rather wait in a longer line than be helped by them. On the other hand there are some truly kind and wonderful people here. I believe Greg is his name. He is blonde and is ALWAYS kind and cheerful and just makes your day a little better with his great attitude. He is truly a kind person. The security guard that stands inside at the entrance is always smiling and friendly. On the other hand the managers are rude which is unfortunate. I had the worst encounter with a manager of a store probably ever this last week and it makes me not want to return to this location. Seems like one of those older Albertsons that is a combined grocery store and pharmacy. Yes they have a pharmacy department like the newer Albertson's, but they also have aisles full of camping equipment, toys, and miscellaneous stuff. Basically it looks like someone uprooted a Rite-Aid or something and stuck it aside the normal grocery departments that make up a "normal" Albertson's. I just came in for a few things after stopping at Costco and Smart & Final. The staff was nice and you know how I know this is an older Albertson's? The contraption that the bagger uses after the cashier scans the item was one of those circular, rotating ones.... who still uses those????? read more

initially i would like to say that i truly enjoy this albertsons, truly nice staff, very clean and well organized store with fine cashiers, albeit; the deli is a critter all of its own. horribly disorganized, absolutely no customer service, persons wandering around the back seemingly doing nothing but dawdling and no one wants to provide customer service at the counter. today, finally had to say loudly, does anyone work here? got a small, middle aged hispanic lady with the personality of a stale tamale who provided my order but put the wrong bar code on the wrap and thus; could not get the digital coupon price. way to go mamacita! same thing each time i go in there. last time, stood there forever turning over chicken parts but would never acknowledge customers, they are invisible. seemingly, this deptl. is ungoverned, unassigned and unable to perform seemingly minor tasks. this is a real disservice to the public and a real stain on albertsons. jessica and edgar might give some attention to whom it is that is controlling this dept. no numbering system, the whole dept. seems to be out of control. jumping around like a bunch of uncontrolled, undisciplined associates. time to whip some of these people into shape like red headed step children. read more

They have since updated their check-out stands (no longer the old circular ones) and most of the refrigeration equipment is enclosed so it's environmentally-friendly. The Organic produce section is ample they even have fresh herb bundles for those whose plants refuse to stay alive in this desert! There's a pharmacy, deli and meat counter, there's also a delicious smoothie place inside. There's Chinese take-out as well. I only have two beefs: the lighting towards the back of the organic section is dim and gives the back wall a weird vibe, and the other beef is the "old lady aisle" and "99 cents store aisle" that are full of chintzy, nick-knacks and crap no one buys (check your ledgers, Albertsons) and it's just that much further to the rest of the aisles I'm actually interested in. To Albertsons: I understand that this store has more square footage than most other Albertsons but instead of user filler aisles I suggest a salad bar, or olive bar or better yet: expand your gourmet cheese selection - it's rather poor at the moment and Trader Joes is farther away than I'd like for my good cheese shopping. Also, your prosciuttos are downright nasty - I will pay top dollar for a seriously good prosciutto. In fact, if you could add an entire Mediterranean section - you wouldn't regret it. Who doesn't like Italian, Spanish, Greek, Moroccan, ect foods? I'm talking go all out, with something like 900 square feet, design it like Pavilions or Whole Foods would and go nuts stocking it with top quality foods. Revamp your wine section and do pairings and describe flavors to make it easier for your patrons. That would give this place 6 stars! :) read more

Albertsons turned into our new go to grocery store after Ralphs closed. So far no real complaints except that I sometimes find myself going in circles looking for things. Since they bought out Vons it seems like they have some better deals going on. Now they have $5 deals that's something similar to Vons' $5 Friday deals. Their deli is decent. We will usually go for the different cheeses that they will have on sale. That jalapeño cheese they have is pretty awesome. We ordered a meat and cheese platter for a party once and it was decently priced and tasted pretty good. Once in a while they'll have my rockstars on sale which is nice. Thier meat selection is typical, with the usual US Choice options. They have a nice little florist area with some nice floral arrangements depending on the occasion. SoCal Swirl is a plus to have near the entrance/exit, and they do have some yummy thai tea and boba. The workers are usually friendly enough and helpful to my liking. I'll probably keep coming back for all my grocery needs. read more

Wow. I had no idea how much this store had to offer. Notonly do they have the typical pharmacy, deli, banking inside etc. they also have a frozen yogurt shop and a Chinese food resteraunt inside. Unfortunately, besides the cashiers friendliness and the service at the deli and bakery that about accounts for thier assets. I don't usually buy cakes from a grocery store but I was in a rush for a Graduation and did so anyway. The clerk seemed totally confused at the simple design and wording and I was told the buttercream was delicious. They must be smoking it cuz there was neither butter nor cream in it. Typical crisco and sugar, and the price was higher than our local baker that uses real butter. The deli was full of fresh meats and cheeses, even hot fried chicken and the staff was amazing. Then off to the meat counter. I guess you are always bound to run into one zealot that wants to reveal thier life story and that of past employees. After 10 minutes of trying to pretend I had an incoming call I cut my losses and decided to go elsewhere for the pork chops and ground beef I needed. I can't say I'll be back to the meat counter and the bakery, maybe if I need an item off the shelf, but the Deli was a plus and overall if you have a card and buy sale items you won't totally break the bank. read more

This place iver the past years since Vons moved out of the neighborhood has been on a steady decline. Went to get some of the "grilled" chicken and server picked thru the fresh meat and found the worst of the old batch lying underneath the fresh. Chicken was dry and tastlrss. Then went to the checkout stand where a lady in the 15 item line had a full load of groceries and there was plenty of room in the regular places. Checker never said a word...ran out of playing pieces for her and shut down the check stand instead of calling for help. Left the stand to find more game pieces while 5 of us were in line waiting. Very unprofessional. This place needs new management. read more

I had a wonderful experienced today at Albertsons. I went there to buy fixings for hamburgers that they sell for $5. The section where they have cut veggies and salsas was empty. I flagged down a manager and she right away let the crew know to make me a fresh cut package to go. I was so impressed of how well they took care of me. December 11, 2018 I think what the problem is in this store is that management doesn't take the time to read these reviews because if they did they would do their job and fix the issues this store has. I was going through the checkout line yesterday afternoon and I was trying to tell the checker by the name of "Kiko" that I had 2 additional items in my cart. As I told her she craned her neck to look over my shoulder and avoid listening to me or to make eye contact. This was very rude. She is being paid to take care of customers who are in the process of forking over their hard earned money to them. What ever it was that was distracting her from doing her job could certainly wait until she was done with me. Only an emergency should have taken her focus off of me and I doubt very much there was an emergency occurring there. Now the worst part of her behavior, as I told her that it was important for her to acknowledge that she heard me telling her about the items in my cart I turned away momentarily to move my cart foreword I saw her snickering about it. She seemed to think my reaction to her poor behavior was somehow funny. This store and especially this young lady are long over due for sensitivity training. Stopped by on a Saturday night. There were only two checkout lines open, each with a line about 15 people long, reaching halfway down the ice cream aisle. I kid you not. I dropped my shopping basket and walked out. They lost my business, not just for today, but for the foreseeable future. Weekend nights are usually busy, so this situation was 100% predictable and avoidable by good management. I might check back once every six months or so to see if management has figured out how to manage their staffing levels. read more

I used to shop here all the time. Now that I can get here again I will come back more often. They have an excellent app that makes getting all the discounts they offer easy. With the app they are very comparable to the other stores that I hate shopping at. I can actually spend less here than at the others. The store was clean and the produce is fresh. I feel very unsafe at this location, my husband and I have been threatened and harassed by the bums sitting outside demanding money. I was CHASED by the last bum because i didn't have any money to give him. I called the cops and went home before my frozen food melted. Fast forward a week later and I'm in the store to fulfill a raincheck when I bring the situation up with a manager and he tells me there's nothing he can do about it. No apology no promise literally nothing from this employee. I have vowed not to go into this store ever again as I feel management will do nothing to keep it's customers safe. read more

Three stars. Part of me wants to give it less, but it wouldn't be fair because the store is neat, clean, and employees are very friendly. I went here today because I hadn't been there in a while and wanted to go somewhere different. I walked in, list in hand, and proceeded to walk down each aisle because I'm unfamiliar with the store layout. Once I found all my items, I headed up front to check out. Boy was I surprised! My items which would have come up to about $40 at Walmart or Food4Less came out to $55! I didn't have $55 so I put a bunch of stuff back that I didn't really need right then. The cashier didn't bat an eye, just removed those items from my total and gave me a new total. So three stars for being friendly and nice, neat and clean, but only three because prices on items I actually buy were way too high. $2.79 for a can of Campbell's Chunky soup that's like $2.25 at Walmart? $6.99 for a half gallon of ice cream that I can find for $2.50 to $3.00 somewhere else? Yes, the loyalty card brought the price down but if I hadn't had one? No way would I have picked up anything here! Sorry Albertsons. I like you, but not your prices. :( read more

All good till they have a glitch in their system then be prepared to spend half hour waiting! Computer down so the cashier and manager ran around like chaos not fixing the problem but continuing to help other people while I stood around waiting for a resolution . Not cool at all. I stopped into Albertson's after my dentist appointment which is close by. They have a Starbucks inside so I thought I'd grab a lemon loaf, (my absolute fav!), while I shop. First off there wasn't anyone there so I patiently waited and after about10 minutes someone showed up to take my order. When I finally received my beloved lemon loaf I took a healthy bite. It was so dry that I almost choked! I immediately told the person who waited on me and he was so nonchalant about it and said he'd let someone know. I should have asked for a refund but like I said, I took a healthy bite so there wasn't much left. Don't get your baked treats here! Didn't get anything to drink so I don't know how that is. Albertsons is looking a lot nicer and better than it did a few years ago. The produce section is very orderly. Baked goods which is next to the produce section is really nice for times when you want to throw an impromptu celebration and you can't call your favorite 5 star caterer. The smell of fried chicken is in the air and it's all good. The prices seem Lower which is good. I love the self checkout. Stater bros is still less expensive though. read more

Worst customer service i have ever experienced! The cashier for self check out Diana has the worst customer service! Gives customers attitude looks so unhappy with her job! Doesn't greet customers but sure knows how to provide them with the ugliest attitude! I'm very disappointed with the customer training at this location! I used to shop here (for over a decade), but the check out lines are ridiculous and none of the cashiers are friendly anymore. They won't open other check out lines - even when the customers complain. It's five minutes away from my house, but the customer service has reached an all time low. So sad, because it really is a nice, clean store. I've taken my business to Vons on West Avenue L. It's ten minutes away from my house. The employees are so friendly and helpful. Best of all, when the manager sees a few people in line waiting to check out, he opens another register immediately. It's odd that these two stores are now affiliated and yet the service and workers are so much better at Vons. So long Albertsons - I'd rather drive further to do my shopping if it means being treated better. Vons has a friendly staff and great customer service. Albertsons needs to take a few training courses on proper customer service before they lose anymore customers. read more

Literally the worst run Albertsons I have ever seen. Almost everything they sell is past it's expiration. They leave rotting produce in the bins and their meat smells of death. We actually ended calling the health department about on them. What's worse is the management doesn't seem to care that they make people sick. read more

I went grocery shopping there today since my bank is inside, and I found two stock clerks re shelving items that people from last night tried to steal. Then at check out, another couple tried walking out without paying. The cashier informed me that store only gets security ONCE a month! I really wish I could give this place 0 stars after the horrific experience my mother had at this store with their manager. I completely understand that soliciting is at epidemic levels, but to assume that someone is soliciting because they are standing outside talking on their should be unheard of....but not here. Well I'm here to say a HUGE THANK YOU again to the wonderful bakery staff u have. I went in on a Wednesday night where a ditzy, weird even possibly under the influence employee took my cake order for the following day or so i thought! I went to pick up cake and that employee messed up the date big time so my order was not yet made and on top of getting on my nerves from the night before i was completely irritated at this point. However the 3 or 4 ladies who were working when i was there are awesome! They immediately got Martha onto making my cake, the supervisor was on a break but didn't hesitate to step in and help. The two others were great helping hands and i had my cake within 15 mins. Even got free bags of cookies and discount on cake. This is the way u handle customers and I will forever be appreciative of what those ladies did for me. :) and as for the bad seed employee i spoke with the store manager and i doubt she'll be employed there much longer! I went to by groceries here twice on 2 different ocasions while visiting my in-laws and both items were expired:( not good.

I happened to stop in Albertsons to quickly pick up some kale in lancaster on 20th street west on Sunday evening. I never shop Albertsons because I know their prices are extremely high. Well tonight when I went in I noticed as I remembered that their prices are extremely high. In fact in my opinion anyone that shops at Albertsons Vons Stater Brothers or Ralph is being ripped off their overpaying for whatever they purchase. I happened to notice while I was standing in a line to head at least 15 people deep for the quick check out service for eight items that they were selling Powerade 10 for $10 or another words a dollar apiece. I guess that was their sale price it look like it they had a yellow sign and they were advertising it. I just want to let everyone know that you're getting ripped off when you shop at these stores. The same Powerade when it's on sale at Food For Less is $0.39 but you must by 10. Just walking around the store I also noticed that everything is just extremely overpriced I would never shop at the stores and anybody that shops at these stores is absolutely crazy because you are getting ripped off. read more
