Horrible experience a necklace I purchased was not placed in my bag and I know it wasn't. No complaints about any other items I bought. Like this store but theres always long lines which is typical, the managers stand there and don't help the cashiers , managers waited till the line got longer instead of getting the customer out. The employees are racist, they like to talk about stuff involving personal issues with different people, they lie on people and customers to get them kick out their store, they lied on this guy with glasses who really was doing his job, was being positive and being polite to everyone including me saying he was harassing everyone and he was super positive. I was at DD's Monday 11/22/21 pushing a wheelchair upon leaving the store the worker said let me help you as they do with those doors getting in and out. Upon which I felt the door hit me in the back. . That really really hurt and today as I write this it hurts worse. The door that slammed into my back is heavy. I was pushing a person in a wheelchair. Now I am in agony just getting up & down. What comes to mind is those doors are not user friendly for customers. read more

This use to be one of my favorite stores for a quick outfit for my little ones but there is a new return policy that they dont even let you know about until you return to the store trying to make a return. I bought some short sets(5 to be exact) for a friend that has foster children. She was getting a new foster child and they were unsure of the child size. I went into dd's discount and got some sizes i thought would fit the child based on age and a pair of shoes along with 2 backpacks for my own children. Once purchasing the items we found out the clothes were to big but the shoes were perfect. Turns out we were able to get some of my son used clothes for the child that was a perfect fit. I was in no rush to head back to the store that day so i didnt. 3 days later i take the clothes that were too big back to the store. When i walk in the door i tell the cashier im here for a refund, she says "a exchange?" I replied "NO A REFUND" She then preceded to tell me to wait in the refund line. After helping the customer that was at cash register and helping another customer making a purchase(waited 5 mins) cashier tells me to come up. After taking my receipt and looking at she then tells me"oh you dont know about our new store policy? You can inly get store credit or exchange". First off why did you make me wait in line when you could have told me that when i first walked in the door, there was no need for me to wait over 5 mins for that BULLSHIT! Second of all how do you tell a customer that spent there cash money for products that they cant have there money but they can give you the products back and get store credit. Who said i want to shop here again? Who said i shop here on a regular to even utilize that store credit. THIRD OF ALL HOW DO YOU NOT INFORM CUSTOMERS OF THIS POLICY CHANGE! I have been to this location a few times and have always had a nice experience. The staff is quick to greet you when you come in and can sometimes be seen placing new merchandise on the sales floor. They have a good selection of clothing and periodically have clearance sections throughout the store. The store itself is similar to Ross and TJ Maxx but with much better prices. I especially enjoy visiting the shoe department and have found a few pairs of shoes in the kid's department that fit me :). Sometimes the store can get pretty busy with limited number of cashiers so be prepared to wait. To make your check out a little faster...you can remove your hangers (they have racks in the checkout line to put them). If you are in the area, stop in and see what they have. read more
