It's definitely cheaper than other groceries stores, but it comes at a price. The parking lot can get pretty crowded, and good luck finding a cart. There were none at the entrance, so I had to go outside to get one. The store was pretty crowded, but we were able to get our groceries. It still was reasonably clean and organized, but had to go though so many people to get our stuff. The checkout lines were a joke. It took a while to get a cashier, even at the self checkout lanes. The attendants were showing customers to the lanes like TSA agents, stressed but relatively polite. It can be chaotic sometimes. If it wasn't for the cheap prices, I would avoid the store. But it has most of what we need at prices much cheaper than Publix and other supermarkets. So I will go there occasionally, but prefer the neighborhood Walmart for just the basic needs. I do not frequent Walmart Supercenter often, but when I do go, I am usually in and out. The prices, as many know, are typically lower than, say, other major local groceries - like Publix, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or even Target. The quality of the product, depending on what it is you are shopping for, varies. I find the quality of groceries actually a bit better at the Neighborhood Walmart(s) than at the supercenters. As mentioned, I do not frequent Walmart Supercenter often. However, even though I am in and out, there is always ample parking - even on busy holidays like Christmas Eve. There's also the attached Wine & Spirits shop just outside of the grocery store if you are looking for spirits. The staff is usually kind. Pending when you go, the shelves are fairly well-stocked. However, if you are going during major holidays, be prepared to not find everything you are looking for. The store hours have increased - at least for the holiday season. All in all, it is a solid grocery store if you are looking for more affordable alternatives to other, more popular major grocery stores. read more

Not sure why this Walmart has such a low rating... It is pretty much what I have come to expect from every Wamart I have been to. Moderately priced, the selection of items is affordable and varied. The produce is a little sad, but if you look, you can find some good items and some GREAT deals. The clothing is appropriately allocated for the season and there are many options. If you are on a budget I am sure you will find something here!! The only downside is that I'm sure all of it is "fast fashion" and totally wrecking the environment. You can also find lots of goods for your home and garden in that section of the store. Although they do have an auto center, I have never used them. The customer service here is hit or miss. Usually I am assisted by someone who obviously wishes I were somewhere else, or probably that THEY were! The parking lot is an adventure. Sometimes trash strewn about & cars coming & going either too slowly or too quickly. Have fun and good luck on your quest! read more

The workers clearly don't want to be their. The cashier at the register literally works so slow and don't even say a word to me when cashing out. Made me feel very uncomfortable read more

KUDOS and thanks to Mike, the team leader, for providing supreme quality customer service at Walmart on Kirkman Road. For the love of God... do not come here. Rudest people along with zero service. Wouldn't refund our broken item 10 minutes after 8, even though the store was still open for another 4 hours. Stupid. Self checkout needed an assistant. Waited for 15 minutes. Wasn't busy at all. Save your time and money read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible! 1 hour and 30 minute for an oil change WITH an appointment! Only 1 person working and took 15 minutes just to drain and replace oil filter! And even though I order full synthetic, they fill a generic container so you don't really know what you're getting! read more

I try very hard not to shop at this store and chain. They have the worst customer service that I have ever seen. It's hard to understand how they stay open. I think it is only a matter of time until Amazon finishes them off... This location is in an economically challenged area. The store staff are a bad combination of poorly educated and poorly trained. Most staff act like you are bothering them if you ask them a question. Many do not speak English at all. If you are desperate, and don't need any kind of help, you might get in and out ok during the day. Do not go here at night... The SuperCenter in Ocoee is better but not much. This entire chain needs to go away... read more

Absolutely ridiculous. Store opens at 6am and I arrived at 6:20am to purchase something from electronics and they had me waiting till 7am to open the electronics. Meanwhile multiple different associates in the store tell me different things. "Oh wait the person is coming at 7" or "wait someone's on their way to open it for you" meanwhile no one showed up. Then said the 7am employee would get the key. Why can a manager not get the key but an employee can? Try assisting your customers for once. Do better Walmart. read more

We stopped at this walmart for some bottled water and quick snacks for a weekend hotel stay and day trip to Universal Studios. A staff member stood at the entrance of the store, greeting customers as they entered and I guess to make sure they maintained social distance. Once we were in the store, there were people all over the place. No social distance, many were not wearing facial covering either. The place did was not tidy, cleaned nor well stocked. The lines were unbelievable. We rushed in got what we needed and used a self-checkout line and got out of dodge. read more

Pros: The price and selection of products is fair. Cons: This Walmart is a total Shantytown, it feels like a prison commissary, nothin at all like the nice Walmart that I usually go to. The staff is unprofessional and less than friendly, no one seems happy, there is no common courtesy, and customer service is a place at the front of the store rather than an actual experience. Employees should NEVER request to see a customer's phone for proof of purchase when using a mobile phone as a method of payment, that is a violation of privacy. People: Awful Process: Awful Product: Good Quality: Good Quantity: N/A Value: Fair Cleanliness: Good Ambience: Fair Timing: Fair Attention To Detail: Awful read more

As Walmart's go, this is one of my favorites! A lot of my neighbors in Metro West are afraid to shop here because of the location. People!!! Get over it!!! Crime is everywhere these days, we all need to pay attention and lock our cars no matter where we are shopping. This store is always well stocked. I went in to return a shirt I bought at the Ocoee store and yes, there were a few folks ahead of me at Customer Service, but EACH one of them were being treated with attention and care. When my turn came, a very nice young woman thanked me for my patience and I said "no problem". Why was I patient? Because I knew I would be treated with the same courtesy and attention that all the other guests had received. All of the people with whom I have dealt at the Kirkman location have been very helpful. This Walmart gets 5 stars because they are customer service oriented. I will continue to shop this Walmart because it is my neighborhood Walmart and because I think we need to support our neighborhood retailers- especially when they give good service and have items in stock that I need. Good job Kirkman Walmart! read more

This Walmart within the last year put in a bunch of self checkout machines. This was my main complaint 3 years ago when I made my original review. After Publix raised their prices on everything I have decided to shop at this Walmart, and I can't lie I do not hate it anymore. It is way more tolerable going into that store just for groceries and doing your own checkout and leaving. Basically if you go there and you don't need to speak to anyone it's actually not a bad experience. I would give it a 4 star except for the fact that this Walmart is one of the busiest i've ever been in around 5pm or 6pm. I avoid these times at all costs and I only go on my days off at Noon or 2pm. When I go the shelves are always stocked, line for self checkout short if there is one, not crowded and overall a good experience. Overall this Walmart has impressed me as of recently. No complaints from me. read more

Don't get any car work done here, they will mess your car up. I had a flat tire with no options and 30 minutes till closing of any tire place so I went to Walmart to get my tires changed. I thought they can't mess this up, well they did. Now when I break my back right tire seems to be off and it has a limp when I break. I did not ask for them to touch anything else besides my back tires, so the fact that my breaks are now off means that they don't know what they're doing. Also they don't know how to read, they're illiterate selves had my tire pressure 10 psi below what it was supposed to be. Even the tires I didn't get changed. I would go back and demand they fix what they did wrong, but I'd be afraid that they're gonna mess something else up worse. If I get into an accident because of brake value, Walmart will be responsible. Save money by not going here. -10 stars. read more

Came to ask about how long a battery installation would take. Went inside only to be told I had to ask the people outside. That was fine, the girl inside was polite and I didn't know, so no big. Went outside to the little tent, but there was no one there. So I waited for about 5 minutes. When Shaniki finally did come up to the tent, she completely bypassed me to go start setting up a service for the guy in the car. He was there first, so I get that, but the LEAST she could have done was said "I'll be right with you" instead of just acting like I didn't exist. So she takes about 10-15 minutes to get this guy's service set up, I'm waiting patiently outside in the hot sun the whole time. She finally comes back AND DOES IT AGAIN. GOES TO THE CAR THAT JUST PULLED UP INSTEAD OF EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING ME STANDING THERE. So I let her talk to the lady and then I interject to ask my question. One of the guys that was working on the cars is there now and he says it's gonna take about 2.5-3 hours. Cool. Except when I say thank you, that was all I needed and all I've been standing here for, HE gets rude with me like "that's what you get for coming to Walmart." I wish I got his name, but I didn't see a name tag in the brief interaction. Either way I'm definitely going somewhere else cuz if I'm gonna be waiting for hours, I'd at least like to do it with staff that are polite and know wtf customer service actually is. read more

I went to this Walmart to get my tire fixed because they tires were bought there with the extended warranty, I waited 20 minutes then I was told by a service tech that they stop doing tires for the evening but if I need an oil change they can do it. I told him I don't need an oil change, I need my tires fix, I recently bought my tires here with extended warranty, he then said to me you can come back in the morning or go to another Walmart. This is the service Walmart provided, very unprofessional, they don't take care of there customers, Walmart is known for poor customer service. No wonder I don't shop at Walmart, I was very upset when my boyfriend went to Walmart and purchased my tires. They service they provided is poor. I rarely go to Wal-Mart and I believe this store is the reason why. The few employees on the floor turned their back on you as soon as you asked them a question. There are too many not so nice customers roaming around. A lot of items, especially in the pharmacy section are locked up, which says a lot about the type of clientele that frequents this Wal-Mart. If you need anything that is locked up just forget about it and keep on moving. No one is coming to help you. The lines are eternal. The only way to survive this place is to mind your business and go either very early or very late. Also, the place is very untidy and unkempt. read more

The check out lines are the worse in the store. If someone want to go here be prepared to wait for a one time like 30 minutes or more in the line for the cashiers, there are so slow in ringing and they don't have a good system of having more personal when need it on register. I suggest to go to Publix or target for better check out than here, I expended more $$ in those but I got better service. read more

THE WORST WALMART I've ever been to. I've been to some stores in really bad neighborhoods and haven't felt this uncomfortable. First off, the characters you see in the pictures called "People of Walmart" are truly live and in full effect at the Walmart on Kirkman Rd (Orlando). This place doesn't even deserve the one star I'm forced to give it. Where do I begin? I blame management and lack of security for the look and feel of the store. Products are missing, packaging torn/broken, and the entire store is disorganized. I purchased a few items and when I got home, I realized that the items were previously opened and missing the quantity indicated on the packaging. The tape on the boxes were still sealed. Oh and the Bolthouse Farm Green smoothie I purchased was sour. The only time they go bad is if you leave them out for a LONG period of time. Makes me wonder about the milk and things they sell too... If there was more security in this store then people wouldn't have enough time to skim from different packages of hand wipes, cereal bars, etc. Speaking of security, keep your purse, wallet, cell phone and anything valuable close to you. I was raised in the inner city and I know the look characters give as they're scoping out their next victim(s). Not all people here are bad, but remember this is the Walmart that has been in the local news many times in the past. Customer Service... there is no customer service. The employees for the most part seemed annoyed that I'd ask a question. When returning the items that I found short in quantity, the ladies at the "customer service" desk were the most rude, obnoxious, and tempermental workers I've ever seen. If I had to go to this store again, it would be for non-perishables, can goods, toilet paper, cleaning products, etc. They're selection in each department is very limited, so I will venture to Target, Publix, or better yet the farmers market for better quality, safer experience, and better customer service. read more

This is my least favorite Walmart in the area and despite it being walking distance from my apartment I am happy to drive the distance for the other local Walmarts. This is such a busy location. The staff aren't having a good time working there and the customers know this and walk all over them and other customers. The workers feel under supported. Worst Walmart ever. A lot of employees standing around doing absolutely nothing while only 1 register open 45 minutes before they close. You'd think they'd open more registers so customers can leave & they can get to cleaning & going home themselves. Ask a manager (if you're lucky enough to find one) to open more registers & they either laugh & say they're short staffed or ignore you completely. Funny thing is they say this to you as you're witnessing all the lazy employees standing around. Honestly, I refuse to allow my hard earned money keep these people in business so I just left my fully loaded cartful of groceries right in the self checkout lane for them to put away because there is no way I'm going through self checkout with $300 in groceries.
